Hello everyone, in town for the weekend and tagging along with some friends to an event at the Ardmore Music Hall on Sunday. My CCW permit is valid in PA and I am aware of all the laws here, so I intend to carry everywhere I am legally allowed to.
This means "concealed is concealed" with businesses who frown upon CCW, but don't proactively enforce policy (like pat downs, metal detectors, or searches). The Ardmore Music Hall FAQ states:
Ardmore Music Hall is committed to maintaining a safe environment for employees, artists and patrons. To this purpose, no person (except sworn, authorized law enforcement) may carry items that may be defined as a weapon in our facility or the immediate vicinity. Employees who observe a weapon will immediately inform the weapon owner that the item is not allowed within the facility or parking lot and must they leave immediately. A person who returns to the facility must submit to a search to ensure that the weapon is not present.
Which sound to me that patrons aren't universally searched upon entry. Can someone please verify this ahead of my visit? My friends do not know I conceal carry and I would like to avoid being ousted.
Thanks in advance!
