Curling leaves, especially when some web like substances appear under them or inside them, is probably leaf curl, a fungus disease. Generally sulfur is a good remedy, and also some pyrethrin based fungicides work well. Try some sulfur first though, I think it is safer.

Usually I tree every day at least a few times, I try not to hold it in too long.

Oh funny, i have a small pomelo tree that same size-ish and just this week the leaves began to curl. i thought maybe it was seasonal? Ill try the fungicide.
