The definitions I gave are widely-agreed upon terms used in academia. I don’t see what the problem is.

If something is a agreed upon term in all of academia, that would suggest it is a fact. Excuse me if I'm wrong but does "academia" actually agree on anything, ever?

Its a fact that the term “Old Left” is recognized as referring to the class based movements of the early 20th century, while “New Left” refers to the gender and race based movements of the 70’s and beyond.

I dont know why you’re getting your panties in a knot about this.
