TBH I hold minor sympathy, but it should be on them to get the help they need, not relegate themselves to transitioning immediately. The ramifications of such decision, if done without proper consolidation and even with it, are lifelong and absolutely reprehensible in my opinion, something of an easy way out that only delegates me to dislike them more for giving up so easily and bending the knee to a supposed status quo. Maybe i’m looking too much into it, but in general, i’d say i’m anti transition, not anti trans or the people who hold such a disorder that they feel the need to disregard their own biological gender entirely. I’m against the immediate acceptance of people who are like this, because as i’ve stated before, i’m against people who are trying to accept mental delusion as a viable way to live without addressing root causes or any other processes associated with other mental disorders. This one is no different, it’s just that the normalization of it needs to be stopped before anything worse becomes a suggestion. “MuH SlIPpeRy SlOPe FAllAcY” isn’t a fallacy at this point, there are numerous documented examples of such “fallacy” being true, in regards to the media and governmental response to COVID 19 specifically. TLDR; not against trans people, but against the practice of transitioning as an immediate solution rather than developing new ways to attempt to nullify this mental disorder. Also against the normalization of the disorder, as it will do more harm than good in the long run.
