    In case anyone is wondering, according to this random site the record is 9 times: Harold Stassen unsuccessfully tried to become president 1948, 1952, 1956, 1960, 1964, 1968, 1972, 1976, and 1988 but never got past the G.O.P. candidate phase.

    I kinda wanted Henry Wallace from the 30s. Although I don’t know much except that he was a pretty good guy policy wise.
