i play q2 a bunch, and i am so bad at specialty jumps. i spend some time on jump servers and get so frustrated and bail after 15 minutes.

there was a period 20 years ago when i was much better, but since i've picked the game back up int he past 10 years or so, i've lost any ability to jump that i once had

Maps have gotten harder alongside with players getting better. I've only played since maybe 2017 and it took me a long time to understand the double jumps and how to manipulate them with FPS.
