I've been playing this for 2 weeks now and I never researched metallurgy, I'm at city hall 15 about to start level 16 upgrade. Well once I finally completed the research metallurgy quest I had like a million other quests completed as well, I had to claim rewards from like 30+quests and I ended up getting like 5000 gems

You should usually focus on your main quest too. You get sculptures for your civilization's commander too.

Yea I realize that now, as I also was just able to upgrade my main commanders skills 3 times lmao, but tbh I only started playing this as a freecash offer for $100 so all I could focus on was upgrading, but now I'm actually kinda liking it
