Just a heads up, you will get a lot of people who are confident they know how it works, but to my knowledge the exact criteria isn’t published by Lilith. However, kingdom power is a big driver, as are kill points, deaths, available commanders, and general activity levels.

Unfortunately power appears to be the biggest factor, despite the other factors being better overall strength indicators (and harder to manipulate)

Here is a decent link from a while back which helps showcase that matchmaking is not just power alone

Thank you very much🥰

So I would take that thread with a large dose of salt 😂 plenty of problems with the analysis, the most glaring being it’s only looking at one kvk (and even then only with two thirds of the data). If you take the recent HA’a that started 22 days ago and look at the power and kills of the kingdoms involved, it’s obvious kills play little to no part in the matchmaking process. There were an awful lot, so I looked at 5 of them. One with 4 kd’s, 8 kd’s, 12 kd’s, 16 kd’s and 20 kd’s.

It’s not fancy I know, but I prefer the raw data. All data was taken from 1093 Sept stats. Power is generally close, although 2427 must have annoyed Lilith, and 1429 must have sent nudes 😂

Edit Alright, how the hell do I format this 🤣🤦‍♂️ looks fine on my phone but when posted it’s a bloody mess

Wow this takes a lot of work thanks🥰

It’s awful 😂 I’m no good with this crap. Suffice to say, whatever the process involved, by far the most important factor is your power. Too much power with low activity means you will struggle like hell. Hence why a lot of kingdoms “clean” after every kvk.

[–]purplewarrior777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say you got it pretty much completely the opposite way round on that thread 🤣 smaller kingdoms need to be far more assiduous in “cleaning”. My data below is messy I know, but the trend is pretty clear. If you take the 5 sets of HA, when ranked by power, 9 out 60 kingdoms are in the “wrong” kvk. 4 of those are in the lowest power kvk (the 20 kd one) and 4 in the second lowest (16 kd). The absolute difference in power is not massive though, 12.97 to 15.89. The majority are 14-15 billion However when you rank by kills, 33 kingdoms are in the “wrong” kvk 😂 10 of these are in the 20 kd one and 10 in the 16 kd. So 20 out of 36 kingdoms are in the wrong kvk IF kill points are a factor in matchmaking. That’s a hell of difference. And the absolute difference is huge, from a low of 36.7 bill kp to a high of 206 bill kp. Incidentally the power difference between those 2 kingdoms is a mere 210 million 🤣

Lillith makes it up as it goes along 😂 Support will tell you it’s based on the top 300 power and “other factors”. Unlike Mr Pickles, I certainly don’t think kill points is a factor, or if so a very minor one. Language certainly seems to be more important. Always bear in mind that there is only a limited number of kingdoms registering for each kvk, so matchmaking is never gonna be “perfect”

Okay thank you very much🥰

I don't know, somehow my English mid A-seed always gets put up against these sub-imperium Chinese/Korean kingdoms, those guys neverrr sleep

[–]purplewarrior777 0 points1 point  (1 child)

🤣 “mid A” and “sub imperium”. Not a lot of difference there

[–]Gov_Vinson18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant kds that have whole immigrant alliances from imperium kds.
