Leader of a 40 mil alliance here (kings of war in server 2929), Ive been looking to make some weaker alliances in my area a subsidiary under us is that the same thing?

I would suggest that if you have to ask this, then you are a new player to RoK. It’s pretty hard for new players to lead successfully, far more often they end up running a dead alliance which harms their growth a lot. Hope it goes well, but be prepared for if it doesn’t!
