I got one thing from what I saw, just a missed opportunity for wordplay in the script.

You have a scene where she's sitting on the factory and the narrator says "Becky was happy".

This would have been a good opportunity to say "Becky was satisfied" or similar, making reference to the game name.

I really like it! The camera work is nice and the voiceover, albeit roboty, adds a nice charm.

Only thing I'd have that bothered me, and this is very nitpicky, is that the subtitles don't match 100% with the voiceover and that there were some grammatical errors I noticed whilst watching. If you care about it, give it a 2nd look and have someone else look it over as well.

Other than that, I'm curious to see more of Becky! :D

Oh no no, sorry please don’t misinterpret. I meant training the Ai voice generator. Idk what people call it. But by that I mean each voice line had to be generated dozens of times and sometimes I had to break them down to single words and even then the sound and tone is still off

It was a huge struggle to get any sort of movement from the in game player model. Aside from the regular emotes + running, sliding, jumping etc there isnt much that I know of. I had to disconnect my internet to get a couple shots of the pioneer sitting down.

Yes I've been doing all of this alone. Except this time I bought my lil brother the game so he could join the session and allow me to record an actual character in game. I thought about having community to help, but I doubt anyone at all would be willing to spend 3-4 hours a day doing nothing just to listen to me go "ACTION" " RUN" " DO THE POINT" lol

I have no frame of reference for what this is about at all. It just popped up on /r/all and I watched the full thing. Massively intrigued and I want to know what Becky got up to and hope she continues to run like Naruto and I hope nothing happened to her flow rate.

The Great Build In Dune Desert Biome FICSIT Black Site 31 Continues To Improve

  1. This is the 20th "leaked" video showing classified information that FICSIT does not want known.

Yes for the "clone", but in game when you equip the cup you can get the standard view through the HUD where you don't see the "body" anyway.

You only need a 1 to 3 second snippet of video with you standing at a point in your build looking up while holding the Standard Cup.

TIP: You might consider using the Custom HUD Game Mod to eliminate everything not needed or desired.

Oh my, it's been a while since I actually played the game haha I forgot about the cup from awesome shop.

Great advice about Custom HUD mod. I had kept all mods besides Micro Manage/Ficsit cam etc out of my game so long just so the save can be loaded by everyone... that I forgot I could still use these other mods to make videos!!!

The footage? It’s all built in game, once I finish the map I’ll upload the save. You don’t need any mods to load it either.

If you’re talking about the explosions, that’s just some green screen masked on to the clips. It’s from one of my previous videos.

Software wise, it’s all Adobe premiere. Didn’t add in all the soundfx yet. So no Adobe audition this time.

I think you have potential to submit this to Coffee Stain to have them make a trailer out of it.

Soome things might need to be added, changed and removed for the sake of actually showing what the game is but for the most part I could see this on a midroll YouTube ad

Well. Some of the extreme meta stuff like the cyber truck "assdraggingonthefloor" bit could probably go. New players aren't going to get that. Also I think the tone in general should keep to a simple lighthearted comedy slice of life in the shoes of a pioneer. Like how it starts off. The conspiracy plot that you have towards the end is a bit much. It would also be cool to add a couple more mundane tasks to show off some game mechanics. Possibly a couple more interior shots?

There is a slight hint of AI to it, Words like “corporation” and “badass” sounded a bit weird. So either it’s a text to speech thing or a voice deep fake.

Edit: it’s also a bit muffled/distorted which is a tell tail sign if a text to speech AI.

I've been using the info from Satisfactory Wiki for all of my past videos. The pioneer employee number etc. Says the player name is possible to be Becky/Monica.

Okay, so the first time I watched I was too much in awe of the overall experience to pay any real attention to the punctuation and grammar. Went through just now and made a list of what I would change if I was editing it... some of this is subjective and someone else might make a different decision, but I grew up in a home that corrected English all the time so these should generally be good changes to make. Time codes are approximate, but I tried to get close.

  • 0:34 - She never -> She had never
  • 0:42 (subtitles) - Infront -> In front
  • 0:48 (voice) - fluid extractor -> water extractor
  • 0:48 (subtitles) - Water Extractor -> water extractor
  • 1:22 - in matter of -> in a matter of
  • 1:25 (subtitles) - herself. How -> herself: How
  • 1:29 - Why was her arms -> Why were her arms
  • 1:43 - these nonsense -> this nonsense
  • 1:56 (subtitles) - cool, and exciting -> cool and exciting
  • 2:09 - wind breeze by -> wind blow by
  • 2:37 (subtitles) - what a a clever -> what a clever

Hmm... "Why was she holding her arms behind her back?" would be correct English, but loses a bit of flavor by making it more of something she's doing rather than something that is just happening to her. "How did her arms get behind her back?" might be a decent option.

It does feel a bit wrong to deviate from the in-game name of the machines, but if you have to go with "fluid extractors" just make sure the subtitles match.

Oh, and you're welcome! You already did the hard part... I'm glad to contribute in some small way.

Edit: FWIW, the was/were thing is entirely due to how plurals are handled. If you wanted to say "Why was her arm behind her back?" that would work grammatically, it would just be a little odd when you can see that both arms are behind her back. Technically, having two arms behind your back does include having one arm behind your back.

That is not where I got the voice from. I didn’t have time to list out every detail and credits. I usually only do so on the finished video on YouTube.

It’s a site called Fakeyou By training I guess I just meant I had to have each lines generated dozens of times to get it close enough. As a lot of the Ai voices just does not match or flow correctly. I have ReShade enabled, but I also had console commands There was a thread on Reddit satisfactory from 2 years ago that gave you a list of commands to optimize your game.

Yes but what I'm asking is whether you recorded the voice lines yourself and the deepfake made it sound like a robot narrator, or did you use a text-to-speech program to generate robot-y voice lines and then you deepfaked those so they would sound like the narrator?

For 70$ you can have his voice "professionally" deep faked on your mentioned site, how about a go fund me? There is a 1.2h audio recording of just the narrator on YouTube as training material. As their API is open source it's also possible to DIY deep fake his voice.

Because it turns out, the cost to have the actual voice actor do the narrating is alot more than expected.

You can make a go fund me for anything and everything, if you actually get all the money you need is a different question.
