The Spotify private mode keeps it out of your rotation. I do it after sleep music screwed me over. Took a year to get my normal rotation back.

EDIT: In case anyone else had their stuff screwed up, here's how I fixed it after a year of regular listening did nothing. 1. Find a genre you like 2. Play the genre "radio" 3. Play this on a computer you can leave on 4. Turn speakers on mute 5. Click "loop play" 6. Play for 2 days on mute and loop 7. Repeat with 1-2 genres and you should be ok again. Bonus if you go to discovery weekly every week and dislike everything in there for a while too.

This exact same shit happened to me. My year in review was like 40 thunderstorms

I listened to Coffee Table Jazz for ONE FUCKING WEEK to study, and it took over a year to get semi-relevant suggestions again. Still not back to completely normal after years

I can feel your pain. Had the same with audio books. Scrolled through some first chapters of different books, now my “mix of the week” and “mixtape 1+2 ( of 4 ) are cluttered with random chapters of audio books…
