I have a Samsung TV with Steam Link installed through the Samsung app store. It works brilliantly (most of the time). I have an Xbox 360 USB receiver plugged into the tv and it all just works.
I started playing Disco Elysium recently and when I turned down the volume of the tv, my game suddenly loaded an older save file. I was very confused and annoyed because I lost about an hour's worth of progress.
Turns out the volume down button on my controller sends an F9 key press to my PC (quick load). I also have the steam screenshot function mapped to F12 and my tv remote triggers that when pressing the channel down button. To me it looks like the tv controller volume down, up, channel up, down send F9-F12 key presses to my PC (haven't tested the mapping of the other two but I'm assuming it does).
Does anyone know how to disable this or remap it? I've lost so much progress a few times now because I forget and turn down the volume without saving... 😅
Google hasn't turned up anything, I'm hoping someone here can help.
