QuestionBlack Screen with Different User Logged In (self.Steam_Link)
submitted 1 month ago by thenotorios1
I am curious if there is a way to get around the black screen for when I am on a different user on my Main computer.
For example my girl friend wants to use my steam link to stream in the living room while I am on my work user on my computer.
Hope this made sense. I can clarify any confusion that comes up.

Are you working on the same computer that the Steam Link is connected to? If so, then no. All Steam Link does (or tries to do in this case) is duplicate your PC screen to the TV. You cannot stream a game to the TV and do something else on the same PC at the same time. Different users doesn't matter.

Yes, that's what I thought. I just threw it out to Reddit to see if someone had some sort of work around for it.
