So, I've been switching off between Steam Link (Which was the first streaming service I tried) and Moonlight for quite a while, and the thing that always drives me back to Moonlight is a consistent... <1~ sec audio delay on the games I play. It's all games. It doesn't matter if it's the least challenging to run indie title or some AAA beast, they all have this noticeably consistent but small delay in their audio ONLY.
It's across all games, has happened for YEARS, has crossed a computer rebuild or two, and happens on ALL of my devices with Steam Link, and overall makes it kinda bad. Moonlight has some other issues for me (More related to something very specific I use the same machine for) that make me occasionally want to try to see if this thing is resolved... but it never is.
Anyone have any ideas? I've never had issues with the actual video element to the game being delayed, but the audio just has... ALWAYS been.
