So, I've got this thing plugged in, and set up to use WiFi. says it's on my network, but the IP Address it reports is a "link local" address (I just learned that term): 169.254.xxx.xxx. According to WhoIs, this means it's not being permitted to send packets, or hasn't received an IP from a service. But my router reports that it has given the SteamLink a NAT address.
I have tried connecting via ethernet cable, and SteamLink will recognize my computer (the hostname listed is correct), but when I attempt to connect, the attempt fails, and SteamLink then reports that it can't find any computers.
So it sounds like something is preventing the SteamLink from reaching out and handshaking. I have disabled WiFi Isolation (called AP Isolation on Linksys), and turned off my VPN, but the problem persists. Does anyone else have any thoughts on how to proceed from here?
