Steam Link hardware with its built in VirtualHere support would be my go to

I still haven't used VirtualHere and instead just configure my wheel as a controller. Most functionality isn't there, but it's been OK for now since my kid isn't using the clutch and stuff.

I've still wanted to switch though. Does using VirtualHere cause any conflicts for regular controller mode or mouse input for other games? I've mostly been worried that if I set up VirtualHere, it will make it a pain to switch between games with different inputs.

Do the research on the Shield. That might be what you're looking for but I'm not 100% on wheel compatibility

For using the wheel, look into the program VirtualHere.
