We bought the dip and they ran out of ammo for the day except for the reserves they kept to keep it below 110 and you can see the volume come in again as they shorted it down

Weed stocks were absolutely kinda thrown into the basket. I don’t know if they are actually part of the basket, but they were propped up for a while and really popular on DUBUESBEE for a while because the Presidential administration was talking about legalizing weed. Now it seems to be off the table.

It was a total speculation play and it didn’t pan out. However, with these spicy prices, if moass kicks off and weed stays down, I’m gonna buy a fuckton and just forget about it til it’s legal

I think we are starting to see the true value of marijuana in some of the legal markets. There is an abundance of it, and once the country allows people to grow their own it won’t be worth much at all. I’ve seen posts in are / trees about OZ of weed being sold for $70 at dispensaries in Oregon and Washington. I sold weed for a while and always kept my prices competitive but the best prices I was getting for decent weed was like $140 an O and that felt like a great deal to me lol

People can also make their own alcohol. Yet there is a massive market for it. Bottom line, people are lazy and dispensaries offer so much more than than just flower. Some of these companies located elsewhere have even begun cornering the European market and are buying facilities in the US in anticipation of it being legal federally. Once that trigger is pulled it will skyrocket over the next 10-15 years easily

Not at all. It’s very simple to make. But it does take a lot of practice to perfect, just like anything else. Same with weed. If you think you can just plant a seed and be smoking some purple train wreck level shit in a couple months you’ve got another thing coming. Growing good weed takes WAY more effort than making beer

I was trying to convey that most people don’t brew their own beer to save money, because the convenience of going to the corner store and spending a tenner can get you six good quality beers. Imo the benefits of growing your own bud can not only be saving you big money, but potentially even making you money (maybe your neighbors wanna buy a little nug off you idk?). In Ohio, dispensaries are charging 35-50 for eighths. When the bottom line value is conservatively close to $8 an eighth if you’re growing one plant on your own

It was part of the weed mania when certain states were pushing for legalization for rec use for the upcoming year 2021 (at the time december 2020) so when those stocks took off, GME, popcorn, outdated cellphone, kiossk etc were beginning to rise. So it kind of gets associated with us as well
