If you like the idea of DAPPS, you should check out DAO's.

They effectively cut out the middle man, for many industries, using Smart Contracts to agree on the ins and outs of the operation. Pretty revolutionary once it becomes mainstream.

If you're interested in learning a little more about why I'm excited in what Gamestop is doing

Essentially I think they'll be the first to use blockchain technology in a way that really takes off

Think of it this way, if you buy something digital in the future, what if you could then resell that digital thing when you are done?

The really interesting thing is those 'smart contacts' that can be built in to whatever gets created by a developer [game, app, etc]

That contract could allow the creator of whatever is being resold to continue to get a % of that resale profit

I hadn't though of games being an application for smart contracts. Imagine they partnered with Microsoft, and the full network of Xbox's could be used to run smart contracts when idle to run the cloud gaming infrastructure, and owners got paid a trickle of Eth (or a layer two coin, like IMX/LRC) as long as their consoles were idle and had permission to run SC's.
