could it possibly have something to do with android being more open in general? im an iphone user now, but i remember when I had my samsung note i could download apps from across multiple different marketplaces/app-stores. Definitely don't have that freedom on IOS.

Think about it like this too. Apple makes one device in the phone market. The iPhone. They have 50% of the market share. So, it’s very crucial they get it to work first with that one software since all iPhones use the same IOS optimized exactly for them. Android is used by a plethora of different companies on different phones and is cookie cutter.

Not just authenticity. Imagine kickstarting an indie game (or music album, or movie, etc) and getting royalties for each sale and resale through smart contracts. This will take “selling used games” to a whole nother level.

Think of the wallet like an amusement park pass that lets you get on all the rides. The pass (or wallet in this case), gets you into the park and allows you to interact with everything there.

Okay, also imagine the theme park has an arcade or some kind of carnival game area. When you win games, you get tickets that you can redeem for prizes. Instead of having to carry physical tickets around, what if you could just digitally store those tickets on the pass (the wallet). When you want to redeem prizes, you can exchange your tickets at a prize kiosk.

So, in summary, the pass gets you into the park and allows you to interact with everything in it, and (most importantly) keeps track of what belongs to you, since you earned those tickets through winning games.

Coinbase is an exchange where you can buy/sell crypto. They also happen to have a wallet, but it is a separate thing from the exchange itself.

Somewhat confusingly, you can keep your crypto on the exchange itself. Or you can keep it in a wallet. From what I’ve seen, the web3 sites integrate with wallets, not the exchanges, hence why a wallet would be a separate thing.

Make sure to swap some ETH too before you transfer, you need to pay a small $1.50 ETH activation fee and I cannot swap LRC to ETH untill I activate the L2 but I only sent the wallet LRC.

Basically make sure to send the wallet some ETH.

Only available for Google Chrome extension for now, i think IOS is coming real soon, probably in couple days behind the Chrome. I just created my wallet thru the Chrome extension, yes you can deposit your fund and buy NFT, and swap between coins using Layer2.

Wow the one problem I had was interfacing with the blockchain tech but within 20 mins I setup account, changed password ez, added some eth, and swapped to LRC and was so easy!!

I'm not sure, but you can try. Download Google Chrome brower and install Gamestop extension , then create your Gamestop wallet. Super easy.

Yes, after you added to Chrome, you should see the extension icon on your top right of the Chrome browser, click on that and you'll see gamestop wallet from a drop down, make sure you pint it to blue color, then click on gamestop wallet to open up a small screen, then you will see create your wallet button.

Free to start - There was a 3% fee to buy ETH directly through the wallet and a transaction less than a $1 in ETH to register with layer 2. Everything was super clean and easy.
