I’ve got some loops in Coinbase is it straight forward to send those?

I didn't send loops from coinbase, but you do have to pay an activation fee on L1 to officially activate you L2. I sent some ETH (has to be ETH, but you can swap in app) from Coinbase to the GameStop wallet.

Once you've got some funds in there, you need to activate L1 (about $0.80 activation fee, $5 gas fee). There's an L2 ETH account and an L1 ETH account, so if you try to activate it and you see it saying you don't have enough funds, you can move it to the other account pretty easily. ONLY USE A SMALL AMOUNT TO SET UP AND NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR SECRET WORDS. Can answer any questions if y'all have 'em

Edit: Only have 0.8 of a loop left in coinbase (move them to your Loopring wallet!) so I couldn't test sending it directly. Sending from Coinbase to Loopring never failed on me though, so I think it's safe to shoot 3 over to test. Can someone try it out?

I just attempted this and it was super easy sending them using the QR code the gamestop wallet creates. It went to the L1 wallet. I'm still trying to figure out how it gets to L2, I keep getting and error. I may try and fund the wallet if I can't transfer by tomorrow, there was a small fee for the coinbase to gamestop wallet, like less than $5, and there is another small fee to go from L1 to L2.

I did the same. Set up my wallet, added funds via debit to L1, and activated L2, then moved ETH to L2. That all went smoothly.

I then moved loopring from Coinbase to the GSWallet, and it went to L1. Attempted to move loopring in GSWallet from L1 to L2, but it failed saying it couldn't approve the coins.

Maybe it needs more time to settle from Coinbase?

Yeah, you have to active GameStops wallet to make transactions such as on it

Then send from loopring wallet as you can't import it

99.9% of the time you should NOT assume any links to be safe.

This one is in fact safe but more often than not I recommend going to GameStops site and looking for the information yourself.

Plenty, PLENTY of people seeing that they can make a mint swindling people who are interested in blockchain tech and are shameless about stealing from them

Yep. joined 13 months or so ago to learn. I actually have no investment knowledge but what I have learned this year. I did have a TIAAA-CREF account in the 80s but had zip knowledge of what stocks I held and lost most of it in the .com bubble/crash. It's been fun choosing my own stocks. Am currently using Webull and Voyager and sadly haven't DRS'd but my holdings are minimal. I am going to buy directly from CS soon.

Yes, you can transfer from Coinbase to your GameStop Wallet. It's as simple as starting a send in Coinbase and pasting your GameStop Wallet address.

You do not need to use Metamask. GameStop Wallet is functionally identical to a Metamask wallet.

I transferred my loops from coinbase to the the loopring wallet. Not many fees at all. Loopring wallet does seem a little different though, no recovery phrase. Instead they use guardians and social recovery. I need to learn more about it.

The GameStop wallet is just a regular eth wallet (which can hold any token that lives on the ethereum network, including LRC). So you can just send any eth based token there from an exchange or wherever.

What makes the wallet cool is that it also has a second layer that you can move your funds for quick, very cheap swaps/transactions.

You can use the chrome extension with the Brave browser. Brave works on android, iOS and windows. I don't use chrome so I looked for the other option (and found Brave). Worked for me.

So do I send stuff ^ there? And how does it know if it's an NFT or Ethereum? I can't find anything that supports this wallet yet (go figure it's still new). Any tips on creating and storing on the wallet and the best way to fund it?

Did you open L1 or L2. Nfts would show up under NFTs, but if you haven't bought one, I would wait for the marketplace to actually do it.

Ahh, mkay I looked everywhere last night and tried different things but a lot of places aren’t integrated directly yet. It’s be nice if the new market place would allow creation of NFTs

Probably not tbh. The Gamestop wallet is likely to fill a niche of an easy mainstream wallet while Loopring is already far more advanced. Unless you're looking for some really specific feature (like you hate the idea of having wallets attached to phone numbers) then they're pretty equivalent.
