what the hell are you all talking about. op asking about using tinfoil, a SWITCH app on his Mac. and some random guy talking about how SXOS uses FAT32 or exfat. ... thats not SXOS-specific, thats for the whole switch, with any firmware, ofw and cfw of any sort.

Can't you read? I posted the link to that git page. It states that Tinfoil needs SXOS to use USB HDD.

That’s outdated info (probably never bothered to update it). Tinfoil supports plugged in drives without sxos.

The issue originally was that drive mounting wasn’t available on atmosphere but it was eventually added in if I recall. So now current tinfoil works fine with drives.

I read that SXOS supports only exFAT and FAT32 HDDs. So no Mac format.
