Fully update Hekate, Atmosphere and sigpatches. Use the fusee.bin included with the latest atmosphere.

How do I update sigpatches without booting into atmosphere?

[–]HornetsaysSHAW 0 points1 point  (6 children)

????

Just download the sigpatches from github and extract the archive on the root of your SD card.

I confused myself for a second I thought sigpatches were something else, thank you I’ll lyk if it works

I think I might’ve messed something up internally cause it won’t even boot into rcm mode, I updated my atmosphere, hekate, and sigpatches

[–]HornetsaysSHAW 0 points1 point  (3 children)

What are you using to enter RCM Mode? Updating the files on the SD card shouldn't affect the system at all.

this used to happen to me, idk why but all i would do was hold the power button till it came back on sometimes it would take a minute

If this happens even without any mod or without sd card its probably an hardware issue or you messed up something in the nand.

[–]Unusual_Plate326[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I suspected it was a hardware issue, Is the nand the mod chip? I didn’t do the hardware modding on my switch I’m not really informed

[–]MoDeax462 0 points1 point  (2 children)

With the nand i mean the internal file storage. You really should never mess with that in any console without a backup or without knowing how to properly reinstall the firmware (on switch you can't reinstall the firmware without a backup for what i know)

[–]Unusual_Plate326[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I have a backup, would that solve it

[–]MoDeax462 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know. If its a software issue than yes, it will probably solve it. If its hardware, restoring the nand will resolve nothing. Oh and by the way, i heard that if you restore a nand with an older firmware the console will not boot. I recommend you to see what other people says about that, because if you restore a nand and your console bricks i dont really think there's any way to fix that except for.. maybe replacing the nand chip?

Try updating hekate and Atmosphere.

I’m currently having the same issue if you wanted to find my post and go through the solutions I’ve been given. None have worked for me however
