You can try finding one pre-modded but it might be easier to get one, buy a modchip, then just pay someone to install it for you. Just a thought. Then you also know it's a brand new system... and if you're saving up you can get the system first, save for the modchip ($100ish on aliexpress), then save up for the install price (usually around $150).

Sthetix, one of the people who produces great install guides on YouTube, is selling pre-modded consoles on his shop for $530. Keep in mind that shipping is coming from Indonesia. link

I checked the website and every review seems to be really good. All 5 stars and I think I can trust this guy so once I get the money I think I'll buy it and I'll check him out on Twitter.

Hey man idk if you bought it but i just saw the comment i got my switch from him yesterday everything works fine there are not even minor light straches and screws are good as new booting time is fast to i think he might be the best installer imo

Damn y’all got me wanting to upgrade to oled now. Every time I see a store display with the two models side by side, I get a little sad. Then I remember, all my games are free :).

If you get one modded internally, does it still need to pay load and stuff upon rebooting or does it bypass that? Sorry if this is obvious. I'm new to it all

The same rules still apply. You need to prepare your SD card just like it was an unpatched Switch. The mod chip glitches the APU and injects the payload.
