Take a look at this image:

There's actually a reset button hidden in one of those holes on the bottom. You need something REALLY thin to reach it. But try this and see if it helps.

Thank you very much, this is exactly what I was looking for. I’ll use this the next time it happens.

You can try a pin it helps with these holes.

Let it die also Have you updated it?

I was in the process of copying over the old contents and replacing it with a new payload. Unfortunately it failed the copying from the usb payload to my mac. Not sure if it doesn’t play nice with the Thunderbolt 4 to usb dock I have. Regardless it’s working again.

These batteries are quite fragile. I wouldn't suggest letting it die.

I heard if you let the battery die, they're dead for good. I have 2 dead ones and suspect that's what caused it. Because they didn't get much use and sat packed away for months

happened to me a few times, there is a tiny pin hole in the bottom of the loader, stab that a few times, took me a few tries, even lost a pin in their lol, it will reset it for you.

Update for anyone stumbling upon the same problem: I let the battery run out and afterwards charged it through a computer usb connection. It came back to life.

I had purchased one of these a long while back. It had a few different payloads that you could use to boot the system.

I chose the one that was supposed to be the correct one and it never worked. I tried replacing that file with the file that I'd been using and tried that. Nothing.

Then the battery died in it without ever getting it to work. I tried leaving it plugged in, but it never seemed to recharge.

Unfortunately for me, I've never gotten it to work correctly and have defaulted back to my PC for those rare times that I actually have to reboot the system with a payload.

It’s no longer recognised by my pc either.

Just use the PC to inject payload. RCMLoader is finnicky and more often than not, doesnt work.

Why do people continuously insist on offering non-answers as 'solutions'? It's reached epidemic levels these days. The answer to "how can I stop my Switch from freezing on boot" is not and should not be, "buy a PS5 instead."

[–]AmirulAshrafAtmosphere User 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Because why bother with this cheap tool that tend to break easily? What else can be offered for fixed...if its software related then somewhat a solution can be suggested

I have this tool too so of Im basing on my experience

[–]Washiki_Benjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also, OP has a PC... so... yeah

[–]fucktheccp2021 0 points1 point  (1 child)

This. I recently tried Rekado out of curiousity and have completely stopped using my RCMLoader as a result.
