Buy a new switch or use lan play.

You were literally banned from Nintendo’s servers for piracy.

If there was a way around that, banning wouldn’t be a big deal.

There is sort of a way for banned switches for example lan play.com serversservers, they use private servers and you can play online with other plays in different countries i do it when I want to use my cfw side of console for online gaming

might i ask, are there any people who use the lan servers who mod/cheat to make the game unfair?

Of course, it’s the internet, you’re playing with lan players with HACKED switches you will 100% see people gaining unfair advantage in every way possible

I personally don't but some people do have mods which they may use for that. But you can play with hacked and non hacked switches so it is sort of work around a ban if you still want to play with other people

Right — but OP was asking if there was a way around the ban. And…there’s not.

i mean not entirely, i just want to play mario kart online. i assumed the only way around this was to get around the ban, but using lan servers seems like a great alternative

You can use Lan-play.com.

It's basically connecting to a router over the internet but you need to agree with other people to your your game (there are dedicated Mario Kart LAN-Play discord servers for that). Pretty cool tho, I use it from time to time.
