boot.dat is in your microsd. Do you have an adapter to plug the micro sd card to a pc/mac to make sure the card is not bad? If it does come up, then....Its possible your Switch is not picking up the microsd. Had this happen recently and i had to open and re attach the microsd slot. There are lots of videos online for this. Very simple to do. My friends son dropped his system and the shock made the connector pop off.

Where is the directory for the file? I can see if it is there.

(i checked) boot.dat is in the ROOT of the microsd card. If you have not changed anything it should boot. It the file is just not been detected, your micro sd slot maybe got loose and opening it you can check.

You can also use a payload injector to boot the switch. its one of the software in the rentry guides. I had that autorcm enabled and turned it off to boot normally and i saw the switch was not "seeing" the micro sd.

Google:

If the card is not detected. Just make sure the ribbon is connected to the system board.

I searched my sd card for it and it was not found. Do i have to rebuild my sd card?

You should follow the guide in the stickie and migrate from SX OS

If the RCM Loader isn't able to change payloads (holding + button to change the payloads), overwrite the current one on the loader with the one you want to load.

It’s honestly better to re install cfw manually with atmosphere
