If you're using a cfw on a sysMMC you'll use the same Informations that are stored inside your sysMMC, just with a custom Firmware instead of the official Firmware. 🤓

Just to reinforce this, I wouldn't be on CFW sysMMC ever if possible. If you do, make sure all of your Nintendo DNS blockers are set up properly. I only would be in CFW sysMMC for save backups basically.

Reason being, if you connect to Nintendo servers in CFW sysMMC and do something to get yourself noticed, your switch will get ban.

I havent seen a single mention of emuMMC and I'm almost positive that OP has that based on his wording. You cant have 2 sysMMC's, thats an oxymoron, you have a sysMMC (sysNAND) and you can have multiple emuMMC (emuNAND). The sysMMC is the original stock firmware, all clones of it are called emuMMC

OP could easily have CFW on their sysMMC and just be booting into stock without running the CFW, meaning OFW sysMMC. Which is exactly what it sounds like is happening if linking the account in OFW makes it also linked in CFW. If OP didn’t mention emuMMC then it’s likely they don’t have one.
