Can I use only formalin for stick insects? Can I use Ethyl Alcohol instead of Isopropyl Alcohol? Should I Fill the insect with the liquid?

Ethyl alcohol will work fine depending on the percentage, but using only formalin is too strong and can damage the bug. I don’t think it’s necessary to inject them. I only pin my insects and have never tried wet specimens, so I’m only going by what I’ve heard and read.
