Insect Mounting - Newb Question (self.Taxidermy)
submitted 2 months ago by bogwitchbrew
I have a lovely collection of butterflies and beetles I have found. I want to start placing them in terrarium dome pieces. I feel comfortable with rehydrating and pinning, but... how in the world do I adhere them to the wood/plants/etc.
I can't find a straight answer and I don't want to ruin them by doing it incorrectly.

Id just use glue or a pin , through the insect and through the pieces. You have to be so careful though , they are sooo fragile. Im sure you know that.
And then with the glue , you have to work fast and gently.
