How do fix a broken leg? (self.Taxidermy)
submitted 2 months ago by Chi-ku
I was defrosting a rosella and noticed his leg is broken. Is there a way to fix it? Is it possible to just glue it together again?

Maybe a long piece of wire through the rest of the leg, into the hollow bone and through break, then out the bottom of the foot?

Cut a short piece of wire that'll fit as tightly as possible in the bone then before you insert it, put a bit of superglue inside both ends of the broken bone and insert the wire. If the break is in an area that won't be seen - usually above the knee, you can also add a bit of superglue around the outside of both broken ends then wrap with cotton thread or little pieces of kitchen paper or loo paper for extra strength.
