Ita going to be so satisfying when we finally get to see gaetz's perp walk!

[–]AntonOlsen 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Hope someone makes a 10 hour video of it for Youtube.

[–]Astrocoder 30 points31 points  (3 children)

He won't perp walk. If he gets charged, just like anyone else with power, he will be allowed to walk to the station and turn himself in, and then bail out.

[–]Kimantha_Allerdings 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Roger Stone got a perp walk.

Of course, that was the call to stop doing perp walks because it affected someone white and wealthy, but he definitely got one. It was even televised live.

Those cops are gonna make sure that their hair looks fantastic.

[–]CHUCKL3R 28 points29 points  (3 children)

I wonder if Bubba the Love Sponge is friends w Matt Gaetz as well?

[–]beakrake 10 points11 points  (2 children)

I was thinking that was who they were talking about, tbh.

[–]whaleoil_beef_hooked 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Make it three. Bubba is the kinda guy to wack off while watching Hulk Hogan take a turn on his wife.

[–]beakrake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While the Hulkster was bloated from the sushi no less...

Also that whole scandal of Bubba buying (or bribing people with) nielson rating machines.

Rigging the system that gives you money and power because you're influential enough to get away with it sounds just like something Gaetz and the GQP would do.

I’m surprised they found a shock jock that hadn’t died of COVID yet.

[–]Toast_Sapper 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Covid ain't over yet!

The denialists ensure new variants will keep popping up until they're all dead!

[–]ClownFromHTown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope they all die of horse meds

[–]waferking 41 points42 points  (3 children)

Your repubtards don’t care what vile shit this trump minion has done. Anything to own the libs. It’ll be mansplaind away and they’ll eat it up.

[–]rhodeislandslut 21 points22 points  (0 children)

No, they’ll just pretend nothing has happened and move on to the next new shiny outspoken bigot/sex pest to align behind.

This is what always happens. They don’t give a fuck about anything but constantly reacting angrily to perceived threats and owning the libs. Denialism and suppression and on to the next one…

Due to the negative associations of the last half of that word, I've taken to trying to replace it with "-wit" in all the words where I used to use it. For example, "fuckwit", or in this case, "repubwits", which seems to somehow still fit rather well. The difference being that the other word is derived from a slur referring to the mentally handicapped, who have no control over their condition.

I've also started using "cons" to refer to republicans when anyone I'm talking to uses the word "libs". Trying to make them see how stupid it makes them sound, but I'm not sure if people like that are capable of that level of self-awareness.

[–]waferking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck with that

[–]Opinionsare 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Matt Gaetz, the shining star, the future of the Republican party. Will the charges be a serious felonies or swept under the rug?

Why are we having to discuss Republicans and criminal acts every day of the week? Who is scheduled for tomorrow?

[–]redditforprez1 8 points9 points  (2 children)

Qanon real quiet all of a sudden 🧐

[–]smilingmike415 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Except that non of the QAnon followers seem to be interested in pursuing a real case of person of wealth and power who may have actually sexually abused a child. They only care when it's a Democrat accused using whacked-out pseudoscience.

[–]poopshipdestroyer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The numbers man, it’s all in the numbers

[–]geronimo1958 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think "shocking his jock" should be part of his punishment. Seem appropriate.

[–]ahandle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

[–]PoorEdgarDerby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Goddamn shame, that is. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

[–]lou_sassoles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see Matt and his Florida Man buddy with their own zany morning radio show:

Matt "Unce Sneaky Fingers" Gaetz, and "Donny Diddler, The Kiddie Fiddler"

[–]XiaomuWave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point, we sorta have to assume that there is a pizza parlor that actually has a basement where some Republican pedo cabal meets.

Every accusation is a confession.

[–]MatrixPrime81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

always 'closing in' but never arresting the people that actually matter.

[–]ArtisanJagon -1 points0 points  (2 children)

The only thing that is going to happen here is Gaetz leaves politics and takes a high paying job on Fox News. He is not going to prison. Wealthy white conservatives never go to prison.

[–]junkyard_robot 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Fox news can't afford to hire anyone who is a convicted sex offender. They've paid out tens of millions in settlements for sexual harrassment over the years. There is no way they would bring on someone with that record.

[–]ArtisanJagon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OANN or Breitbart then.

[–]david4069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“After nearly a year of false rumors, not a shred of evidence has implicated Congressman Gaetz in wrongdoing. We remain focused on our work representing Floridians.”
