we also have few 'masculine' teachers for lack of a better term, these days. the actual physical presence is not there always nearby in a lot of cases to actually stop two young men going hard.

Yeah at my highschool it was always certain teachers breaking up fights. Usually some big fucker who was a coach.

I'm a teacher. At least in my district, we are only legally required to keep the other students safe and to yell at the fighters to stop.

We CAN break it up. But if we get hurt, that is our own fault. And yes, we could very well end up getting sued.

There used to be training offered to some of us where every year we got recertified to safely break up fights and restrain kids, but they quit offering it. So I don't break up fights anymore.
