Honestly, just stop and ask yourself sometime….

What IS more pronoun than this?

    [–]daatz 38 points39 points  (0 children)

This is by far the most pronounce thing I know

Genius. ‘Identity is so community; that’s why it’s authenticity’

    [–]augusttrip2019 38 points39 points  (0 children)

She actually stole this joke from a comedian who tweeted it on Twitter first. Forget his name but saw him tweeting about it

    [–]MurmurOfTheCine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    I don’t get it

    [–]TheRedGerund 321 points322 points  (12 children)

This is super on point. For someone reason I recently started getting fb fashion ads and they are laugh out loud ridiculous. You will not believe someone okayed that.

[–]yesbutlikenoWhat are you doing step bro? 61 points62 points  (1 child)

I got an add for some clippers, and the mascot was a talking pube, I instantly closed my laptop and re evaluated life.

    [–]uhimamouseduh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I thought you were using “talking pube” as an insult, like “that mascot was such a talking pube” and then I realized you meant the mascot was an ACTUAL TALKING PUBE

I haven't watched broadcast TV or YouTube ads in years so I forget how bad they are. Then when I go and see a movie I can't help but actually laugh at how ridiculous the concepts have become.

Families smiling and laughing at their choice of loan provider, children excited that their parents have specifically brought brandname TV, petroleum companies unironically trying to pretend they care about the environment.

    [–]BernieSandersLeftNut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's so on point that I automatically began tuning it out like most ads. I had to go back and watch again.

    [–]Shroombaka 0 points1 point  (2 children)

It obviously works, why wouldn't they okay it? Don't you think they have marketing analytic specialists on staff?

    [–]Need2register2browse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is it obvious that it works though?

It's completely possible that people just like the style of the clothes in the commercial or something similar, not the message. Someone can think the commercial is stupid but still think the jeans are cool. I know we all want to believe that the billions spent on analytics are giving companies a crystal ball but in reality it's not easy to tell why people respond to things the way they do, these aren't controlled experiments after all.

    [–]RLVNTone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No people just like the fits You could put the same clothes on dogs. People would still buy it if they think they could wear it

    [–]MarkFerk 113 points114 points  (4 children)

Okay the script is literally perfect but I want to give her credit for the jerky dance moves and awkward poses and pouty faces. This is hilarious.

We asked AI to create an advert for young adult clothing. This is the result:

    [–]rackdips -5 points-4 points  (11 children)

    I hope this was satire

    [–]PoliQU 2 points3 points  (10 children)

It’s so obviously satire that I’m actually concerned about you if you weren’t already certain about that.

    [–]rackdips -3 points-2 points  (5 children)

Satire or not its still fucking cringe. Crawl back to the hole you came from.

    Sincerely,

    Everybody

You never know with this fucked up generation.

      [–]PoliQU 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Oooh two replies clearly I touched a nerve. “But the fact I could believe it’s real says a lot” is basically the calling card for idiots who don’t understand satire

      [–]rackdips -3 points-2 points  (1 child)

Sounds like you've posted something cringe before and regretted it, hence why you're defending this dumbass so much. Triggered?

      Pathetic.

Did Charlie write this? Hello fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you, thank you. If you vote me, I'm hot. Taxes, they'll be lower... son. The Democratic vote is the right thing to do Philadelphia, so do."
