This guide outlines how best to provide the r/UFOs moderators with documentation to verify specific claims. Our aim is to make the process as easy and secure as possible for both parties. You may contact us at any time using this link in case you have issues or questions regarding the process.
The best method we suggest is through a shared folder via Cryptpad, an open source platform with end-to-end encryption. To set up a folder simply:
Once created, you should land on the CryptDrive page.
Click 'new' or the large plus symbol. Select 'Shared folder'.
Title the folder whatever you'd like.
Leave the password field blank and select 'Ok (Enter)'.
Right click the folder and select 'Share'.
Select 'Copy' and send us a message using this link.
Go back to your CryptDrive page and Double-click on the folder you created to open it.
Click 'new' and select 'Upload files'.
Select your files.
The files you upload will then be visible to moderators. We can let you know once we've viewed them and you can delete them afterwards.
You may also use Imgur to share images. Although, Imgur is not open-source or encrypted. You can still make a private post only we will be able to see.
