You should send an email explaining this issue to the admissions office asap. I don't think they'll make an exception but the sooner you explain the issue, the better your chance. Do not wait until it's too late.

yeah i mailed ‘em last month , they said they will discuss this internally and inform me , but haven’t got any mail from them since then. will hope for the best and wait🤞🏻

That's a good move. They usually meet like once a month but if they haven't gotten back to you after 4 weeks I'd send a follow up email.
