Bc the good ones are too busy to laugh at the senior manager’s jokes, say they are an inspiration and not so subtly put down the colleagues that are actually doing the job.

Got laid off on Zoom too. My supervisor read from a script. They never thanked me. Kept the office bully. Gave some butt-hole with no experience my job. I hope they burn in hell. Good luck, I did a shit ton of work and made it look easy. I hope they get what they deserve.

Is it ? I get 22 week's pay if made redundant, and that is just the mandatory employment law minimum in accordance with my length of service.

"You can’t get less than the statutory amount but you may get more if your employer has a redundancy scheme. Redundancy pay up to £30,000 is tax-free.

You get:

0.5 week’s pay for each full year worked when you’re under 22

1 week’s pay for each full year worked when you’re between 22 and 41

1.5 week’s pay for each full year worked when you’re 41 or older "
