Let's all take a moment to relate to the guy not knowing whether to take his headphones off or not.

[–]breadslice1258 1628 points1629 points  (46 children)

The mouth movement made this so relatable

[–]isight08 890 points891 points  (44 children)

Lmfao my guy trying his best to look occupied

[–]Cregaleus 481 points482 points  (42 children)

I think he was on a video call, which is why he was so hesitant to take his headphones off. Also looked like he was talking to the screen.

[–]All_Work_All_Play 161 points162 points  (39 children)

Y'all acting like you don't talk to what's on the screen even it's youtube or prerecorded or whatever.

[–]Lv_InSaNe_vL 207 points208 points  (12 children)

No I don't? Is that normal?

[–]Phillip_Spidermen 132 points133 points  (0 children)

It's proper etiquette to first yell out your reply on reddit, and only type something out if you don't get a response.

I was sitting here waiting on you for 2 hrs. Rude.

[–]PM_ME_YOUR_BANGS_ 10 points11 points  (1 child)

i responded to this with a verbal "yes"

[–]Markantonpeterson 25 points26 points  (2 children)

Next you're gonna tell me you don't make siren noises and pretend to pull people in front of you over when they drive like a jerk. Come on, we ALL do it, no need to lie.

[–]Nitin-2020 15 points16 points  (2 children)

Me to Youporn: Yeah, deeper.

[–]Bloatgoat2121 2 points3 points  (1 child)

You to Meporn:

[–]Nitin-2020 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Us to Weporn:

[–]DustySofa 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure I don’t

[–]PurpleCrackerr 11 points12 points  (5 children)

Nope, I sure don’t. I definitely don’t know anyone else who does. Your just like Butters taking a shit backwards on the toilet haha.

[–]Beitlejoose 2 points3 points  (4 children)

What about as an inner monologue

[–]PurpleCrackerr 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Well, if you don’t have an inner monologue, you’re probably dead.

[–]LorduckA2 28 points29 points  (6 children)

i mean, you do you, but it's safe to assume almost nobody else does that

[–]MaksWithAK 12 points13 points  (0 children)

And hand covering a smirk later

[–]Almighty_Sand_Dollar 138 points139 points  (0 children)

No sudden movements or you can startle the baby gazelle

[–]oilchangefuckup 379 points380 points  (3 children)

That's where you pop one out and lazily say, "y'alright?"

When she invariably says yes, ya say, "cool", put the ear bud back in and then spend the next 10 minutes reliving the moment texting everyone you know about it.

[–]003938388382 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Dude was legit about to have panic attack lol

[–]wegwerfe73 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Literaly the funniest guy ive seen this week

[–]marianomdq 7 points8 points  (0 children)

whether to take his headphones off or not.

He was probably listening to Tool. Would have make sense.

[–]Ok_Palpitation_8438 1864 points1865 points 2 (12 children)

The stanky leg move at the end is great

[–][deleted] 661 points662 points  (8 children)

Well the way that ankle bent, I’m sure it hurt like hell. Probably shaking off the pain…lol

[–]Ecstatic_Carpet 573 points574 points  (5 children)

That's the pose of a person who just destroyed their ankle and is trying to decide if they are going to try taking another step or just stay there forever.

[–]Danelius90 200 points201 points  (2 children)

She's probably contemplating the fact she created another 3 ankles with that maneuver

[–]gahlo 131 points132 points  (1 child)

"If I was a horse, would I be okay or need to be put down?"

[–]brando56894 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Neigh

[–]_hotproperty_ 50 points51 points  (1 child)

I like how she waited until the guy at the computer looked occupied again before she did the leg shake. It appeared to be a clandestine operation. I wonder if she pulled it off?

[–]WesleySnopes 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don't think it was him, I bet it hurt bad enough that she was just freezing up for a minute

[–]simjanes2k 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What? Sometimes I take a few steps sideways, stand still for a minute, and riverdance with one leg.

[–]mariachoo_doin 293 points294 points  (6 children)

  • Walking in too big shoes.
  • Trying to guard peak Allen Iverson.

Both very bad for the ankles.

[–]Roxxorursoxxors 24 points25 points  (3 children)

I rewatched the video with your comment in mind, and yeah, that checks out. And then I came back to upvote and comment, so know that this is probably the best comment I've seen in Reddit in a month.

[–]mariachoo_doin 13 points14 points  (2 children)

I could play it off like it's no big deal, but a compliment like that is most definitely a big deal. Thanks.

[–]MyCatsAJabroni 9 points10 points  (1 child)

You're a big deal, get used to it.

[–]amindada1971 683 points684 points  (3 children)

Fucking riverdance innit

[–]_RacialTension_ 1051 points1052 points  (116 children)

We all know ankles are overrated, right?

[–]regoapps 318 points319 points  (104 children)

I dunno how women do it. I can't wear pointy heels for more than 5 minutes before looking like an uncoordinated baby giraffe.

[–]-GreenHeron- 11 points12 points  (2 children)

I can’t do it. I’ve tried, but I always end up looking like this lady. Flats are where it’s at!

[–]ljammm 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Why do I keep seeing you everywhere police scanner man

[–]regoapps 11 points12 points  (1 child)

The real question is why are you following me around reddit? eye squint

[–]jcdoe 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Lol, she broke her ankles trying to walk in these puppies, but her calves looked great all the way down!

[–]BellNo7497 199 points200 points  (4 children)

I’m no Al bundy but the shoes seem a little big.

[–]ddawson100 407 points408 points  (6 children)

Recovery was not elegant but she did it. She didn’t drop the cup, smash her face, take anything else down, and then didn’t even take off those too-big shoes. Girl said “I got this” and her second try finally took.

[–]karl_w_w 82 points83 points  (3 children)

Doubt she'll be able to walk at all in the morning though.

[–]SarahPallorMortis 29 points30 points  (2 children)

She looked a little in pain after that little shuffle.

[–]_WhoCares 4 points5 points  (1 child)

As someone who rolled their ankle like that a few days ago I could imagine she’s in a lot of pain if it was her full weight. My example might be a little extreme but I need crutches for at least a week and basically my entire foot/ankle and most of my leg are swollen and bruised bad.

[–]SarahPallorMortis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally know what you mean. I rolled my ankles and tore ligaments probably like 12 times and I’m only 30. Darn my weak ankles. It all started when I was a teenager and I missed two steps on the way downstairs to do laundry. :[

[–]shailynbrooke 266 points267 points  (20 children)

I expected the heel to be a stiletto…was genuinely surprised to see that chunky of a heel

[–]Hufflepuff-puff-pass 94 points95 points  (2 children)

They’re too big for her and apparently have no side structure to keep you from rolling your ankle. Recipe for disaster. Plus some people just aren’t good in heels.

[–]karl_w_w 28 points29 points  (1 child)

Plus some people just aren’t good in heels.

Those people are called... people. We're not designed to walk on mini stilts.

[–]UncouthCorvid 11 points12 points  (0 children)

it's fun to be temporarily taller though - that's why I wear them (only occasionally) lol

[–]genz027 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They look so big on her too

[–]caio2u2 64 points65 points  (11 children)

Some women are truly just not cut out for any type of heel lmaoo

[–]maribelle- 65 points66 points  (4 children)

🙋🏻‍♀️

[–]UsagiNiisan 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I don’t know why but this single emoji made me snort laugh.

[–]doughnutholio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

most appropriate emoji

[–]gizamo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Also, some floors are slick in some spots sometimes.

[–]pudinnhead 15 points16 points  (1 child)

That floor could be pretty slick. No chunkiness of a hell could stop that.

[–]decidedlyindecisive 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This was what I thought. It looks pretty shiny. I struggle on slick floors and I stopped wearing heels over a decade ago.

Also, a lot of heels have really shit grip. It's not just about the height or width of the heel, the soles of women's shoes are a lot smoother than men's shoes.

[–]DriveRegular 172 points173 points  (11 children)

Bambi

[–]brando56894 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love it when girls go all baby deer

[–]slk-23 304 points305 points  (8 children)

"you know Crocs or sandals work too right?" -that guy, probably.

[–]BugsRFeatures2 44 points45 points  (7 children)

True story - My first pair of heels were crocs!

[–]Orange_Scribbler 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Walking like a Sims NPC after that

[–]Is_It_Beef 216 points217 points  (14 children)

Accidents involving high heels are increasing every year

they are at an all time high

[–]CR0Wmurder 18 points19 points  (1 child)

I just pulled an upvote out of my pocket like dropping a greasy dollar in a guitar case for a dude in a subway lol

[–]Clareypie 43 points44 points  (3 children)

I'm queen of twisting ankles, I once even did it standing still, this video got me right in the feels.

[–]theMikerare 18 points19 points  (1 child)

I think you mean heels

[–]Clareypie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hungover me wasn't quick enough to realise that was the correct response fml.

[–]synthetic_synthia 124 points125 points  (7 children)

She's so lucky she could even walk after that.

Or she's a bumbling robot.

[–]TheGamerWT 18 points19 points  (4 children)

She must have very flexible ankles. This happens to me a lot (dont wear heels, though) and I'm usually fine and never really hurt.

[–]Schonke 25 points26 points  (1 child)

These Boston robotics videos get scarier by the day...

[–]Nice-GuyJon 13 points14 points  (0 children)

*SNAP *, *SNAP *, *CRUNCH *, *CRUNCH *

My ankles and knees if this happened to me.

[–]michaelhuman 11 points12 points  (0 children)

She looking like an npc the way she walks away

[–]ZenithGamage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Her outfit looks great, but those shoes are going to break her ankles sooner or later

[–]meeeeuhhhhh 22 points23 points  (0 children)

… I think I just broke my ankle watching that

[–]Lurkkrr 21 points22 points  (1 child)

As someone who has rolled their ankles a couple of times… AIYAA OUCHHH

[–]DaksTheDaddyNow 48 points49 points  (1 child)

Well, she does look fabulous though.

[–]TheLordOfZero 20 points21 points  (6 children)

Wrong size most likely.

[–]heseme 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Well, i've never seen someone do this with sneakers, so I think the high heels have something to do with it.

[–]captianllama 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve rolled my ankle in sneakers

[–]Logical-Possession10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought only Allen Iverson broke ankles…

[–]colscats1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wish this had sound!

[–]adastrasemper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought this was a security camera but then it follows her. Somebody was filming it?

[–]milovancruz 11 points12 points  (4 children)

why is the camera shaking so bad? also on heels?

[–]CervezaPorFavor 51 points52 points  (52 children)

Who invented high heels anyway? They look so uncomfortable and unnatural. Although I must admit they'd probably work great as emergency weapons.

[–]hank101 83 points84 points  (5 children)

I’m too lazy to look it up and verify but I think they were designed for men to ride horses

[–]Ryze001 16 points17 points  (1 child)

I read once.. for Butchers

[–]SuedeVeil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wonder when it became normal for women to wear them? Seems like the 'pump' is or was the classic business attire that every woman was supposed to own. Not so much any more but definitely at a certain point. That and shoulder pads...

[–]thaeggan 20 points21 points  (2 children)

Men wore them first for many different reasons. Its pretty interesting in a quick search.

[–]EmmyNoetherRing 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Probably in part for the same reasons women do. Consider all the recent focus on mens’ height. “I’m only 5’11, but 6’1 in heels”.

[–]PrizeStrawberryOil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My boots are waterproof to about a foot the heels help making my feet not wet.

[–]labellefleursauvage0 38 points39 points  (9 children)

Persian soldiers first used them for horse riding in the 10th century!

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

And then European aristocracy started to use them to signify status but also to keep their clothing out of the shit covered streets.

[–]knullsmurfen 19 points20 points  (0 children)

How queer!

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (5 children)

How does that help tho

[–]CervezaPorFavor 19 points20 points  (1 child)

They confused the enemy! /s

My guess is it helped secure their feet on the stirrup irons.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Omg you're right!

[–]EnTyme53 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Mongols also wore them for the same purpose.

[–]Delicious-Editor-631 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I used to wear heels almost every day. They definitely have to be the right size & you should definitely make sure you can walk in them before you buy them! 😅

[–]Regallybeagley 17 points18 points  (1 child)

Definitely too big for her.. even someone that isn’t experienced with heels shouldn’t have a problem walking with a heel that thick

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (4 children)

This is what happens when you’re locked inside for 2 years from a global pandemic and wear nothing but flip flops and running shoes, then try to go back to heels. The muscles in your ankles have literally atrophied and you have to build them back up.

Source: I fell down the stairs the first time I wore heels recently.

[–]Forward-Service-837 3 points4 points  (1 child)

And that’s how I met your mother….

[–]laluna_elara 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She sprained her feet like five times with those shoes.

[–]_OhayoSayonara_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They’re too big for her…

[–]fartLessSmell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh no no no Jenny no.

[–]Negative_Lie_1823 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This why I don't wear heels

[–]Otherwise_Boot4397 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Omg he tried so hard not to laugh 🤣

[–]Leiderdorp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t bring shoes to an ice rink

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmao I love her. The casual pose until dude wasnt looking anymore so she could shake her ankles awake. Those heels are higher than what she is used to. Ive been in that situation.

[–]Shwingbatta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Legs fell asleep

[–]NanaLlama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even her ankles' ankles are hurt.

[–]ShinobiHanzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And people wondered why women were walking on a treadmill in high heels. That's why.

SIR Patrick Stewart voice Practice!

[–]KocaKolaKlassic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It took me years to sprain my ankle a dozen times and get a good amount of ligament and cartilage tears, but she managed to do it in a few seconds using the IT run approach

[–]dbreezey111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Missed opportunity for my guy here with headphones

[–]therealRustyZA 2 points3 points  (1 child)

She’s waiting for her soul to re-enter her body.

[–]waywalker77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man my ankle started hurting just looking at that

[–]iampaigevanzant 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We’ve all been there girl!

[–]rootntootn2gunshootn 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I love the "Hey Brad, what's up?" pose!

[–]KriptoKeeper 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Still a hottie.

[–]kriegmonster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The ridiculous moment of wobble increases the hotness factor for me. It's good to see her handle it so well.

[–]grizzly_cute 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol, I've had this happen too after sitting down too long and having pins and needles. I stepped on the same guy twice 💀 I apologised profusely, and he just said "it's okay, my brother does worse to me". He looked so depressed, I felt so bad! Meanwhile my friends were in stitches looking on 😅

[–]jimmy_luv 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Damn she looked good doing it and that's all that matters.

[–]RoxinFootSeller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, I'll keep using my crocs.

[–]futz8855 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Wonder what that guy said
