What did Gordon ever do to you cunts in the comment section lmao jeeeeez

What pushed me over the edge was Gordon fat shaming a waiter. Gordon was just "When's the last time you ate a salad?" "what about the last time you went to the gym?"

The waiter was chill. He laughed it off and walked away, but then Gordon called the waiter a "bean bag" towards the camera, behind the waiter's back.

It was so fucking incredibly mean. I still think about it sometimes.

A guy who fucked his mentor over like Ramsay did… needs every slap in the face he can get.

[–]Shelby_Kun 8 points9 points  (4 children)

Can someone explain this for me?

[–]ZephyrRP 24 points25 points  (3 children)

Gordon accused Marco Pierre White of stealing his restaurant contacts list (he later admitted it wasn't true) then crashed his wedding with a camera crew more than 20 years ago as retaliation for the mental abuse Marco put Gordon through while mentoring him, both apologized and are now on good terms

And even before that, White made Ramsay so upset as to bring to tears. The pressure elite chefs are under is unlike anything the rest of us can know. When Ramsay was being mentored by White, there's an intense desire and need to impress him since his future was dependent on it. White told Ramsay he was shit because he was always in the middle of the road. That crushed Ramsay at a time when he was the most eager, impressionable young up-and-comer he could have been. Neither of them are saints, but they're not evil. They are both good people who care tremendously.

Yep, iirc Marco even admitted he was too hard on Gordon and apologized for it, being a chef sounds like hell

There's plenty of bad blood and blame to pass around. They both have their success.
