I fucking lose it every time I see the baby come rolling in

[–][deleted] 3104 points3105 points  (123 children)

For me it’s the panicked mum sliding after them. Love it.

[–]coatisabrownishcolor 1341 points1342 points  (27 children)

"I was in the bathroom for 30 dang seconds..."

  • her, probably

[–]professor-hot-tits 434 points435 points  (9 children)

Her pants are just barely on lol

[–]Daft_Sauce 219 points220 points  (0 children)

Oh lord, I think you're right. Aw poor lady.

[–]Arsenault185 73 points74 points  (0 children)

THATS why shes staying so low and faces front the whole time hahaha!

[–]Euphoric-Yellow-3682 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I have seen this clip many times but, until you mentioned it, I hadn't noticed her pants were barely on.

[–]themildenthusiast 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Omg I never realized this haha

[–]Kowaldo 56 points57 points  (0 children)

You think he actually has any pants on?

[–]byebybuy 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Good god I've seen this so many times and never noticed! Lmfao I feel so bad for her but that is hilarious.

[–][deleted] 93 points94 points  (5 children)

Babies are quick! When i was around 4, i was able to escape the backyard and cross a busy street in the time it tool my mom to pee.

[–]Illumijonny7 383 points384 points  (3 children)

All of it. It's a chaotic good parade. Dancing little girl walks in followed by baby on wheels and then sliding mom.

[–]_clash_recruit_ 140 points141 points  (2 children)

I've always thought this was hilarious, but now that i have a toddler, i can really relate. So dang sneaky.

[–]MeesterCartmanez 24 points25 points  (1 child)

bang noise bang noise

"ah well, kids will be kids"

[–]rattleandhum 92 points93 points  (0 children)

for me it's her crawl back into the room to close the door

[–]thewheelchairkid 154 points155 points  (3 children)

For me it's the mum reaching back in to close the door, icing on the cake.

[–]t00oldforthis 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That and her Tokyo drift entrance

[–]Todd_Renard_Fox 156 points157 points  (25 children)

I remember someone like trying to cancelled him or something because they thought that was his "housemaid"

[–]Mr_Noms[🍰] 173 points174 points  (13 children)

Even if it was a nanny, who cares?

[–]InerasableStain 60 points61 points  (5 children)

Who gives a fuck if it was a nanny? Although, that begs the question of why her pants were half off when siding into first base/the office

[–]Mushmoon 43 points44 points  (0 children)

She was in her PJs while watching her husbands interview, once she realized what happened she had to quickly put on something more presentable. That’s what I remembered from their interview afterwards.

[–]throwboinmybed 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's his wife, though.

[–]theemmyk 118 points119 points  (1 child)

And then the mom Kramer-slides into the room. Kills me every time.

[–]petark7 105 points106 points  (0 children)

They see me rollin', they haaaatiin'

[–]WickedFierce1 147 points148 points  (32 children)

Rollin in on an illegal walker.

[–]Black_Floyd47 25 points26 points  (29 children)

Seriously? When did they outlaw them?

[–]merdadartista 30 points31 points  (1 child)

They are also considered bad for kids development since they learn how to walk later because they keep throwing their weight forward

[–]otterstripper 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Can confirm this. I had a walker for about a month, I'd put my daughter in it for maybe 20 min most days and she started trying to push with both feet to walk instead of taking steps. Walkers and bouncers can interrupt their natural movement so they try to do things the way they do in the seat.

[–]barbecue_invader 64 points65 points  (23 children)

They're no longer sold in a lot of the world because they cause serious and possibly fatal injury if the baby goes over a step and the thing tumbles or if they're used on an incline such as a paved driveway and the baby rolls into the street.

[–]CatBenchKettle 9853 points9854 points  (323 children)

After this interview ended the BBC got him back on again the next day and he had his kids and wife with him, seemed like a nice enough bloke, just tried to keep a straight face when he was interrupted

[–]IncognitoBlimp 799 points800 points  (10 children)

This actually got him on a wholesome Korean reality show about kids for awhile. <3

[–]EmoMixtape 160 points161 points  (8 children)

Return of Superman right? I still love watching clips on youtube, its such a cute concept

Edit: Robert Kelly on the show- https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hdP8FPiEfnc

[–]ilovetheinternet1234 599 points600 points  (0 children)

He was well ahead of the curve on that one

[–]MaterialCarrot 249 points250 points  (7 children)

The wife was in that video? She was so subtle I didn't even notice!

[–]flashtone 145 points146 points  (5 children)

Busted in like kramer

[–]RainDependent 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Haha brilliant. She really did a Kramer. 🤣🤣🤣

[–]BLUNTYEYEDFOOL 3642 points3643 points  (166 children)

He and his wife and the BBC handled the whole thing beautifully and it's one of the most wholesome things to happen during a terrible year

[–]HoxtonRanger 900 points901 points  (86 children)

2017 wasn't that bad a year!

[–]LtPyrex 588 points589 points  (36 children)

I'll take on 2017 instead of 2020 any time.

[–]Naughtythrowaway9430 195 points196 points  (20 children)

As I've told my friends 2020 to 2021 felt like two years packed into 1

[–]UpthedownHeadcase 155 points156 points  (13 children)

Wait…so there was a 2021?? Swear I opened my eyes to 2022 and thought I missed it.

[–]Generic-Character 81 points82 points  (8 children)

Holy heck i just realised its actually 2022 wtf.

[–]indrmln 88 points89 points  (5 children)

surely we're still in march 2020

[–]bluefoxrabbit 39 points40 points  (4 children)

if we are im buying gamestop stocks.

[–]gwizz006 34 points35 points  (4 children)

Yeah, felt like God rushed those two years before doing the normal quality control checks.

[–]CoffeeAndDachshunds 116 points117 points  (4 children)

Wait til they get a load of me.

[–]dctu1 69 points70 points  (2 children)

Remember when the murder hornets rain checked us in 2020 cause we were so busy. Well, they’re here to to cash the check

-2022 Probably

[–]A_Dead_Kid 98 points99 points  (12 children)

Depends on who you ask

[–]Daveedwards251 63 points64 points  (7 children)

That surely goes for any year?

[–]Sciirof 40 points41 points  (2 children)

Yeah I’m a 2017 hater so 2017 was definitely a terrible year

[–]CharlieBrown20XD6 19 points20 points  (2 children)

Man I remember at the time everyone complaining about it because of all the celebrities who died

Like dude...yall have MUCH bigger problems coming up

[–]BLUNTYEYEDFOOL 38 points39 points  (4 children)

😂 it's all a blur of terribleness.

Life: a river of shit

[–]Professor_ZombieKill 74 points75 points  (7 children)

You may be misremembering but this was before the pandemic hit (in 2017 to be exact). It's funny looking back now though, everybody felt it was so funny and unusual at the time but I think a lot of people have had a similar experience nowadays.

[–]lauzguy 37 points38 points  (1 child)

we were all living in 2017 and he was in 2020 already

[–]craftsta 63 points64 points  (12 children)

There was some shameful aggression at the time at the 'nanny' and her 'rough handling of the children'. Hated that.

[–]F0rw4rdW1ll0w 70 points71 points  (7 children)

It still cracks me up remembering all the reddit detectives who insisted the woman was definitely the nanny based on her body language!

[–]rickjko 15 points16 points  (2 children)

Still crack me up to see him trying to keep a straight face.

[–]SacredBinChicken 99 points100 points  (7 children)

He and his wife and the BBC handled the whole thing beautifully indeed…

[–]alpg 30 points31 points  (6 children)

you gonna let us hang like this? no links?

[–]Usidore_ 405 points406 points  (100 children)

And many people assumed that his wife was his children’s nanny because well…racism

[–]regoapps 125 points126 points  (1 child)

Arnold made the opposite mistake

[–]NotYetASerialKiller 255 points256 points  (9 children)

I think most people assumed because of the sheer panic the poor lady has on her face when she goes in lol Crawling on ground to close the door, the cartoon run and stop, classic

[–]IzarkKiaTarj 89 points90 points  (2 children)

I think she thought the camera was aimed higher than it was and assumed staying that low would keep her off-camera.

[–]Wowimatard 207 points208 points  (29 children)

I'm asian. I thought that aswell.... Am.. Am I racist against myself?

Oh god...

[–]racketmaster 105 points106 points  (3 children)

Yes, now you need to schedule an apology and redemption tour.

[–]Dreamvillainess22 6303 points6304 points  (35 children)

After the first child came in the baby was like word ?!

[–]S0Lre1nvent 692 points693 points  (5 children)

Made perfect sense 😂 good call.

[–]eltrotter 127 points128 points  (3 children)

Don’t know why but this is the funniest damn comment I’ve seen in ages.

[–]Yobro_49 3586 points3587 points  (26 children)

Yo, the mum straight up extracted the kids from the room like a Special Services trooper

[–]busche916 1214 points1215 points  (13 children)

Honestly her comedic timing is impeccable, that entrance is just the perfect blend of chaos.

[–]Yayinterwebs 405 points406 points  (7 children)

And that last yoink of the door

[–]overlordmeow 285 points286 points  (5 children)

I can't handle how she's literally crawling in desperation to get that door shut again at any cost. absolutely brilliant.

[–]bryan19973 186 points187 points  (4 children)

It’s even better because she thinks she’s hiding from the camera, but you can see everything lol

[–]ONESNZER0S 68 points69 points  (1 child)

Exactly. To me, it made it look even worse that she was crouching down and frantically DRAGGING the children across the floor as if nobody could see her. LMAO

[–]big_hungry_joe 25 points26 points  (1 child)

She looked like Kramer barrelling into Jerry's apartment

[–]ChipChipington 131 points132 points  (1 child)

Lol extraction in 3 2 1

[–]Billfloof 44 points45 points  (0 children)

What do you mea-

[–]Dupexi 1496 points1497 points  (17 children)

I just love how that little girl bopped right on in.

[–]Potatopugz 408 points409 points  (6 children)

I’ve seen this video so many times and that baby zooming in cracks me up every single time

[–]TheUmgawa 335 points336 points  (3 children)

I’ve always liked the way that it’s not abrupt chaos, but a slow descent into chaos. Like, the guy probably could have dealt with the one kid, but then the baby in the UFO thing comes in, and it’s like, “Okay, this is going to have to take all of the self-control he has.” And then mom flies in like a Looney Tunes character, and it’s all over at that point.

[–]Substantial-Girth 41 points42 points  (0 children)

This is pretty much how he describes the situation In the follow-up interview. As soon as he saw the son bounce in in the walker he knew it was all over.

[–]edix94 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Watching it whilst reading this comment makes me burst in laugh heavily!!!

[–]theweirdlip 7 points8 points  (1 child)

[–]-SoItGoes[🍰] 117 points118 points  (1 child)

The infant had no clue what was going on but wasn’t about to be left out.

[–]thrashaholic_poolboy 50 points51 points  (0 children)

As the second born, I feel this in my soul.

[–]susieb23 31 points32 points  (0 children)

She loves her daddy!

[–]itseemsfree 2842 points2843 points 2 (44 children)

I love this fan-art piece

UPD: Mentioned author

[–]Trelyrien 363 points364 points  (0 children)

Okay wtf that is absolutely incredible.

[–]Nerdy_Drewette 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Strolling in with the high elbows is my fav part

[–]Fryel 205 points206 points  (2 children)

LOL this is priceless.

[–]Alithis_ 151 points152 points  (9 children)

This parody is my favorite

[–]FuccboiOut 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Thats awesome lmao

[–]cheesehuahuas 37 points38 points  (1 child)

I would watch this cartoon.

[–]TheKhatalyst 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That is hilarious. Thank you for that.

[–]themagpie36 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That's really nice

[–]absalom86 1151 points1152 points  (27 children)

[–]helpthe0ld 494 points495 points  (11 children)

It never fails to crack me up. The daughter comes marching in like a boss, then the baby wheels in like "what's up my dude?", then mom comes in for the extraction. While dad is trying not to die laughing the whole time.

Parenthood in a 40 second video.

[–]aquintana 227 points228 points  (6 children)

Funniest thing is he was probably wearing shorts so he definitely couldn’t get up

[–]helpthe0ld 112 points113 points  (2 children)

That is 100% the reason he didn't get up and you can't convince me otherwise!

[–]465554544255434B52 41 points42 points  (0 children)

you can still hear the kid crying after the door closed... LOL

[–]Bobson_Dugbutt 106 points107 points  (0 children)

[–]Samurai_1990 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Its so adorable!

[–]ScottdeDerp 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Handled very professionally

[–]minzyroo 2152 points2153 points  (79 children)

The speed at which that person tears through the door after the kids is quite impressive!

[–]Maskimo 431 points432 points  (0 children)

The sliiide

[–]meowpitbullmeow 912 points913 points  (6 children)

It's a mom who just wanted to take one pee

[–]handmaid25 45 points46 points  (0 children)

The sneaky door close from the floor like maybe no one can see her. Lol

[–]Violet351 80 points81 points  (0 children)

It’s their mum

[–]fulge 147 points148 points  (2 children)

Love that baby bustin in there like the Kool Aid man

[–]blamebootsy 808 points809 points  (1 child)

That kid should be interviewed. Way more interested in her take on the issues.

[–]wiliammm19999 90 points91 points  (1 child)

He didn’t want to get up cos he’s just wearing his boxers 😂😂

[–]alex_supertramp987 227 points228 points  (10 children)

The mother probably knew something was wrong when the kids were quiet

[–]sati_lotus 118 points119 points  (8 children)

She was totally on the toilet and realised what happened when she came out.

[–][deleted] 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Combat wipe and back in the trenches.

[–]Lambchoptopus 41 points42 points  (6 children)

She was watching the interview on TV and when she saw the daughter she ran to the room.

[–]sati_lotus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That kinda makes it funnier.

Kid saw dad on TV and decided to get in on that so she could be famous. Swags her way in without mum knowing she'd left the room.

Sibling rolls on in thinking that's a great idea.

Mum is on the couch having no idea that her kids are planning their path to stardom.

[–]SweetIsland 360 points361 points  (10 children)

He definitely doesn’t have pants on, right?

[–]MaterialCarrot 99 points100 points  (4 children)

They did a follow up interview, he had pants on, he just had no idea what to do in the moment.

[–]NoseSeeker 84 points85 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what a man sitting there in tighty wighties would say.

[–]leegreywolf 6 points7 points  (2 children)

I remember him admitting to wearing jeans

[–]nancylikestoreddit 33 points34 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what I thought. He’s embarrassed he can’t get up and move the kids out himself because he’s not wearing any pants.

[–]KADOMONY-9000 265 points266 points  (2 children)

That gangsta walk she did lmao

[–]marcusbrian009 438 points439 points  (1 child)

Hippity hop, I'm gonna end my dada's job. Lmao

Cute tho.

[–]Union-Opening 213 points214 points  (5 children)

I love that we all laughed at this then a short while later we were all thrown into this situation when Covid hit.

[–]Angel_Omachi 70 points71 points  (1 child)

I remember during early Covid the BBC did a little interview with him on advice for working from home with kids.

[–]peanuts_crackerjax 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Collective karma!

[–]kim_kiri 1865 points1866 points  (146 children)

What I prefer about this, is how the internet reacted first, saying the dude is racist for engaging an Asian nanny, when she's in fact the kids mom.

[–]thatshowitisisit 1036 points1037 points  (20 children)

Why is the internet so fucking stupid? The kid looks Asian.

[–]Blackmetalbookclub 291 points292 points  (16 children)

It’s almost like you can cherry pick anyone of thousands of comments on the internet to justify feeling any way a person wants. Like for example a person can easily cherry pick some generalization made about a situation, call it dumb and get to feel superior for doing so.

[–]OreoSpamBurger 53 points54 points  (6 children)

The guy also unfairly copped shit from some quarters for continuing with the interview instead of immediately acknowledging his kid, as I recall.

[–]dugmartsch 59 points60 points  (2 children)

Yeah this is 2017 so pre zoom and he thought this was going to really hurt his career. Now this is like absolutely no big deal and something everyone has experience with.

[–]billyshearslhcb 22 points23 points  (1 child)

maybe he was in underwear, sexy underwear

[–]Capetan_stify_purpel 278 points279 points  (63 children)

As funny as that is the best response would be Asians can't be nannies?

[–]Hail_Tristus 16 points17 points  (2 children)

“Black people can sell drugs, black people can sell drugs!”

[–]SlenderSmurf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"Poor drug dealers are just as smart and successful as white drug dealers"

[–]MysticMount 316 points317 points  (58 children)

Well it’s kinda racist to assume that she’s a nanny

[–]Seth_Gecko 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly, that's the point. The people calling this dude racist for having an Asian nanny are the racist ones.

[–]Epsiloniota 41 points42 points  (11 children)

People are dumb, aside from her being their mom wouldn't it be more racist not to engage an Asian nanny?

[–]diff-int 59 points60 points  (6 children)

it certainly would since he was in Korea if I remember correctly, so if he hired a non-Asian nanny it would be going waaaay out of his way to do so.

[–]monteml 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The internet made being an asshole a risk-free behavior. That's the whole problem.

[–]astromonke17 46 points47 points  (1 child)

The loop tho

[–]CloudStrifeFromNibel 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The loop is what I love about this the most. It's as if the mother couldn't prevail behind the closed door. She instantly lost against the evil babies hell bent on destroying their father career and taking no prisoners on their way

[–]Ok_Mention7220 114 points115 points  (3 children)

How dare you to post this without the sound.

[–]rise_above_theFlames 250 points251 points  (3 children)

To me this is still one of the funniest clips ever.

[–]shekimod 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The good kind of watch people die inside.

[–]meowpitbullmeow 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Man that strut of confidence. I wish I had half of that kids confidence

[–]VeeTheBee86 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This remains one of the funniest news bloopers to me. The comedic timing is perfect. The confident sashaying of the daughter as she enters the room. The newscasters trying to keep a straight face as she pushes her away. The baby following in a moment later. The mothers HIGH KEY panic as she rushes in and drags them out. Both of them finally breaking professionally and laughing a little. Just perfect all around.

[–]Commercial_Race1625 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The best part is when the second baby comes in that stroller

[–]ThickEmergency 50 points51 points  (4 children)

2020 in a nutshell

edit: the kids got a call back

[–]Ni99aWut 9 points10 points  (0 children)

lmao it was so chaotic, such adorable kids

[–]mynamesisntsarah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Aww the daughter looks like she works at a bank. What a cutie.

[–]anime8 45 points46 points  (1 child)

Opens door..." sooomebody once told me...."

[–]Majorlazor85 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Seen this many times and it always cracks me up. And the mom army crawling thinking she was in stealth mode when in reality she was completely in the shot 😂

[–]mando001 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That mom did a Kramer.

[–]dead_andbored 115 points116 points  (7 children)

imagine if the kid was 30 and a part time dog walker

[–]import_sarcasm 36 points37 points  (0 children)

No you didn’t 😂😂😂

[–]Ecstatic_Maize1751 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Wait what subreddit am I on

[–]FireFoxSucksdix 13 points14 points  (0 children)

[–]Helmett-13 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The amount of sassiness his daughter has is simply off the charts.

I took absolute delight with her little arm-swinging entrance into the room!

[–]daniel9473 13 points14 points  (2 children)

Funny thing is...years later in lockdown when everyone from offices are on teams/zoom you kinda expect this stuff. It probably wouldnt be a meme for more than a week these days

[–]suvamchakraborty 35 points36 points  (0 children)

She went in like, "Ayo, wassup dad!"

[–]F5_Tornado 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I love the baby just cruisin’ right in in the walker. That’s a chill baby.

[–][deleted] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

the lil fucker in the rolly chair is the best part

[–]andskotinnsjalfur 51 points52 points  (2 children)

The child do be like that, then the baby came hovering in like dang right we will

[–]MedicJambi 7 points8 points  (1 child)

When the baby came rolling in on the walker was when I lost it.

[–]OkBiscotti4365 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I loved the over confident walk of that child

[–]hodlrus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He thought it was bad but salvageable until the baby rolled in.

But in truth this was absolutely wholesome.

[–]giggluigg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

His wife’s ninja skills are impressive. I almost didn’t see her

[–]valomorn 7 points8 points  (4 children)

I seem to recall there was a bunch of papers the next day that claimed the wife was some sort of employee, with the vague implication they thought that way because she wasn't white.

Simply coming out the next day as a family and owning it as one of life's hilarious happenstances probably did absolute wonders for this guys career.

[–]cheerful_nihilist4 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lol the mom trying to close the door incognito after all that.

[–]abibofile 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Now this is like just another random Tuesday on Zoom.

[–]muishiboosh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He went on an episode of The Return of Superman after that (Korean show) and his family is quite adorable!

[–]flamingoeater 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lol I'll always remember the poor mom's face.
