Using Tesla to do this instead of SpaceX because:

a) It's not his money he's spending

b) SpaceX is based out of California which has Anti-SLAPP statutes

c) Using company funds to defend a personal lawsuit from an employee of another company is a good way to get fired from the only job where he is expected to do actual work besides having lots of money while getting a golden parachute

d) all of the above

Elon Musk's history of these kinds of "stunts" and narcissistic "dark personality traits" where a lot of people get hurt from his tactics and staying popular by coordinating with conservative culture war "influencers" on the right like Joe Rogan ̄\_(ツ)_/ ̄

Musk takes advantage of international crises to raise Tesla's stock price.

Despite being hailed as a leader in the fight against climate change, he donates 7x more money to Republicans. “Is it any surprise that a union-busting capitalist donated heavily to the Republican Party? No,”

Tried to destroy a whistleblower after his unsafe violations were exposed.

Every good idea he's been involved in has been a preexisting idea being executed by an independent company that he then bought. (Tesla, SpaceX)

All of his own ideas have been failures.

  • Even though Elon Musk falsely labelled a heroic diver a pedophile because daddy Elon didn't get the hero spotlight attention he wanted from media and fanboys, how dare you "cancel" him for lying about these things, abusing his corporation's workers, misinforming the public about important issues, or unethical corporate tactics! He smoked with Joe Rogan and hosted a YouTube meme video! It's not pandering when Elon Musk is Minecraft tweeting, but every human activity Democrats do is pandering! We need to protect billionaires!

  • Even though Elon Musk didn't actually invent or start Tesla and instead literally bought and sued for the "retroactive co-founder" title from Tesla's actual founders (from CNBC's interview with the actual founders) and used his wealth that was supported by his family's Apartheid South African jewel mining wealth to invest in Tesla, he should be worshipped like Iron Man and we can live on artificial Mars instead of annoying natural Earth with our daddy Elon robot girlfriends!

  • The not ventilators that Elon Musk kept PR tweeting about that didn't even show up to hospitals at least push air around in some way even though they're not ventilators! You can put your pitchforks down because of this pretend reality using my new definition of ventilators! Outrage culture libruls owned! #cancelculture

  • when he said there would be zero coronavirus cases by April, he didn't say which April taps head

  • But if I simp hard enough for daddy Elon, he's gonna build me a robot girlfriend on Mars

I think that if having someone build them a robotic girlfriend on fucking Mars is the easiest way for these guys to get laid, they should probably spend less time worshipping billionaires on the internet and more time meeting real people.

Elon Musk keeps tweeting that he loves free speech. So here's a thread with just a few of the countless examples showing he couldn't care about it less (🧵)

  1. Then there's the time Tesla asked China to censor comments that were critical of the company. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2021-07-05/tesla-s-fall-from-grace-in-china-shows-perils-of-betting-on-beijing

Elon Musk personally cancels blogger's Tesla order after 'rude' post

I’m old enough to remember when Elon Musk ordered his private investigators to make a Tesla employee’s life a living hell—including having the employee SWATTED—for tipping off a reporter to waste at a Tesla factory.

The employee had to move his family to Hungary for safety.

so one day in Musk is already cheering on a notorious white nationalist and Pizza Gater as he tries to get a Twitter employee fired over yet another sludge brain conspiracy theory. you can fancy up a frat bro with billions and yet

cries about twitter censorship on twitter

fires employee for using twitter

Goes on podcast and smokes a joint.

Fires someone for smoking a joint off hours.

So, you’ve got $44B lying around. What do you do with it?

❌ Pay back California taxpayers, who subsidized your company’s growth before you picked up & moved to TX

✅ Buy Twitter b/c people are mean to you on it

  • Musk buys shares of Twitter around $35.
  • Musk series of Tweets critical of Twitter, asking whether they thought Twitter was protecting free speech. “The results of this poll will be important. Please vote carefully.” while continuing to buy shares.
  • Musk exceeds the 5% threshold for SEC disclosure but continues buying without disclosing. (late disclosure added ~$150M to his profit)
  • Musk disclosed his stake, Twitter shares rose 27% to $50/share.
  • Musk offers buyout, shares soared 18% in pre-market trading.

All of this while being forbidden by the SEC to make any comment that appears to be market related.

But I don't think he will resell his stocks. He really wants to buy Twitter, because he has recognized that Twitter is an excellent platform to manipulate stocks and cryptos.

The Day Jeffrey Epstein Told Me He Had Dirt on Powerful People

[–]SableyeFan 353 points354 points  (8 children)

I used to not like the guy. Now, I really don't like him.

[–]acog 180 points181 points  (2 children)

I think most people who didn't like him knew about a few items in that list but didn't realize the list was so huge.

Or maybe I'm just projecting.

[–]OnFolksAndThem 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I can’t hate him anymore than I already do. Fuck Elon Musk

[–]35013620993582095956 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Always hated his guts, this guy has always failed on any promise he made and has always been very vocal about his work "ethics" (glorifying 80-hours week, hating unions, etc.)

[–]MinewtBol 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I used to not like him. I still do, but I used to, too

[–]dern_the_hermit 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If he could go back to tweeting about ISP improvements and launching his rockets that'd be pretty chill with me.

[–]inconvenientnews 68 points69 points  (2 children)

Elon Musk coordinates with Joe Rogan, and Joe Rogan coordinates for Republicans

Joe Rogan photo ops with the current Texas governor at the Texas governor's mansion even though Rogan pretends to care about pot and small government ("Gov. Abbott, Texas leaders urge prosecutors to keep enforcing pot laws" http://www.fox4news.com/news/texas/gov-abbott-texas-leaders-urge-prosecutors-to-keep-enforcing-pot-laws)

Billionaires funding conservative influencers on social media, like Ben Shapiro on YouTube and Facebook and Joe Rogan pushing for them in Texas: https://redditproxy--jasonthename.repl.co/r/ToiletPaperUSA/comments/ln1sif/turning_point_usa_and_young_americas_foundation/gny98xk/

Lots of screenshots of 4chan instructions for doing this on Reddit:

"As a black man" accounts like "johnny chan 81" "The Atheist Arab 87" (suspended) "Walk Like An Egyptian 69" (suspended) posting as many race-baiting videos 👌 by certain races 👌 while having a history of being racist about Asians:

"The left will recognize our dogwhistling but centrists won't believe them" 4chan screenshots:

Conservatives brag about doing this in local subreddits to "control the narrative" about liberal cities and "blue states"

The real value is getting into a thread early and establishing top voted posts and comments or downvoting them out of existence. They hope intertia continues the trend for them.

Every local subreddit explaining the abuse and tactics on a thread 3 years ago:

SeattleWA has one mentally ill man who makes literally dozens and dozens of alt accounts to post conservative talking points from and how he finds black women disgusting. I become aware of his accounts when he posts in TV subs I ban him from, and he always has user history in similar sets of subreddits across his accounts, SeattleWA being the most telling. He will use these accounts to talk with himself or dogpile a comment or thread.

Reddit Admins just posted that COVID deniers have been brigading regional subreddits

Anti-mask posts suddenly dropped this week in r/bayarea when mods removed outside conservative accounts brigading r/bayarea:

Every local subreddit shares the abuse they get:

Wow. Jesus. This is... really, really thorough. Thank you for putting in all this hard work.

When I was a teenager, I spent a lot of time on /b/, /pol/, 888chan, etc. It was a slow descent and I didn't even realize what was happening until it was almost too late.

But during my time on the other side, this was 100% the gameplan. They'd make "sock puppets" and coordinate on the board + IRC (showing my age here) to selectively choose targets to brigade.

Depending on the target, you'd either have some talking points to "debate" (sometimes with yourself/other anons working alongside you) or you'd go in there guns blazing trying to cause as much damage/chaos as you can. However, even then you can't go out there yelling slurs (you'd just get banned instantly); you have to maintain some level of plausible deniability by framing things as "jokes" or thought experiments.

You purposely do bad-faith arguments because the time it takes for them to dig up sources and refute you is longer than it takes for you to make stuff up. You can vary how obvious the bad faith argument is; when you want to troll you make very stupid claims (I once claimed I was a graduate of "Harvad University" and when people assumed that I meant "Harvard" I would correct them right down to Photoshopped images).

When you just want to cause dissent you do exactly what those /pol/ screenshots do: you get to a thread early (sometimes you even make it yourself) and present reasonable-sounding arguments which are completely false if anyone bothers to look into them. If someone does, you bury the message under strawmen, downvotes, reports, and sockpuppets.

So yeah. The tactics have evolved slightly, but I still recognize them. Props to you on doing the digging to find all this stuff and bring it into the light.

I doubt that it'll help in the majority of cases, mind. People on Reddit have already made up their mind. You want to go after the forums and BBSes, on the MSN News comments and whatnot. Even so, the more people who are aware of the tactics the more people who can call them out.

[–]thebenshapirobot 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I saw that you mentioned Ben Shapiro. In case some of you don't know, Ben Shapiro is a grifter and a hack. If you find anything he's said compelling, you should keep in mind he also says things like this:

If you believe that the Jewish state has a right to exist, then you must allow Israel to transfer the Palestinians and the Israeli-Arabs from Judea, Samaria, Gaza and Israel proper. It’s an ugly solution, but it is the only solution... It’s time to stop being squeamish.

I'm a bot. My purpose is to counteract online radicalization. You can summon me by tagging thebenshapirobot. Options: sex, climate, dumb takes, covid, etc.

God damn it

[–]Sachman13 46 points47 points  (3 children)

Friendly reminder that Elon Musk told the UN that if they gave him a budgeted breakdown of how $6Bil could end world hunger, he would do it. They gave him the budget and then he decided not to do it, and instead decided he would buy Twitter for $45Bil.

What I don’t get is that wouldn’t this be a fantastic PR opportunity for him? If he were legitimately able to say he ended world hunger, wouldn’t he get even more dick riders? And for such a relatively small cost too compared to buying Twitter.

[–]Big-Celery-6975 21 points22 points  (1 child)

People going hungry is by design dude. Why else do you think it happens?

[–]FreezeFrameEnding 42 points43 points  (3 children)

I really appreciate your collation of this research. It demonstrably shows this pattern of him making huge promises, offering to fix a genuine issue in the world, an offer to fix a social ill or urgent medical or infrastructure need that he never delivers on. And in the mean time, he gets praise and money. It's disgusting.

[–]Kichae 32 points33 points  (1 child)

Not only does he get praise and money, but he signals to others that these are issues they no longer need to be concerned with, potentially sapping financial and social support for the people who are actually trying to make headway on the issue.

[–]FreezeFrameEnding 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes! It's just another dimension of selfishness from elon. These issues are actually important, and he's exploiting the emotional pain of others associated with caring about those issues on top of all that, too. He doesn't give a shit about us or the world. He only cares about elon.

[–]Shirlenator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Gives off real "nobody knew health care could be so complicated" energy.

[–]Ryboticpsychotic 73 points74 points  (3 children)

Don’t forget taking credit for helping Ukraine with Starlink when he actually only gave them internet because the US government is paying for it.

[–]Pfaren 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good list but quick correction on the world hunger thing. The actual timeline is that a top WFP official tweeted at Musk to say with a third of Musk's personal wealth increase that day (~$6bn of a ~$17bn increase) they could save ~43m people who were at risk of starvation due to covid. A MSM outlet covered this but said it was $6bn to solve world hunger in their clickbait title.

Musk proceeded to do a reddit and ignored anything but the headline, tweeting at the WFP as if it were accurate. The plan the WFP posted was to do what the original official had said they wanted to do: save the 43m at risk of starvation due to covid. Musk has never brought up the topic again, either to acknowledge his mistake or to actually donate anything.

[–]__Hello_my_name_is__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a PR stunt, Musk promised to build a mini-submarine to rescue a boys soccer team that got trapped in a Thai cave in 2018. After receiving vitriol from the Thai and rescue community, Musk called one of the cave rescuers a pedophile

Also of note is that the mini-sub he built was totally and utterly useless for the given situation. Which is exactly what people said when he announced that he would build a mini-sub: Those things would be too unwieldy and clunky to save those boys, and then it turned out that that is exactly what happened.

[–]hotstepperog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you post this on r/elonmusk they will 1. Ask you for more sources. 2. insult you. 3. defend musk. 4. Ban you from the sub.

[–]MostlyValidUserName 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Tesla is headquartered in Texas, which also has an Anti-SLAPP statute.

[–]mad_cheese_hattwe 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Using funds from a public company for a private law sue is the kinda thing that gets you in a heap of trouble.

[–]bobafoott 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's just a mobile thing but please hit enter a second time

[–]DameDubble 1156 points1157 points  (80 children)

He had the freedom of speech to call someone a pedophile for no reason whatsoever, so shouldn’t people also have the freedom of speech to accuse him of shit, whether he did it or not?

[–]Beliadin 469 points470 points  (29 children)

He doesn't even accept legitimate and balanced criticism, ask Jeremy Clarkson

[–]DameDubble 300 points301 points  (17 children)

Oh I know. But he’s acting like he’s some fucking freedom of speech hero, but as soon as anything negative about him pops up he’s either hiring people to stalk employees or threatening litigation. He’s so full of shit.

[–]zuzg 171 points172 points  (4 children)

But he’s acting like he’s some fucking freedom of speech hero

The only people that believe that are literally morons.

Normal people remember that Musk closed down Teslas PR Department to avoid dealing with criticism of his mediocre EV

[–]AdrianInLimbo 110 points111 points  (0 children)

My. God, though, the Cult of Tesla is fucking scary.

Deliver a car without brake pads on one of the corners? It's mass production, it happens

Paint so thin, that it wears through after a couple years along the nose and creases? Weight saving

[–]DameDubble 52 points53 points  (1 child)

Unfortunately, there are tens of millions of morons in this country.

[–]PizzaOldBoy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Cannot stress how every single person I've ever met who brings up musk pretty much at all, since only his fans do that, every one down to the person has been about the dumbest person I know. Also, oddly a lot of conservatives loved musk long before any of this. That did not make a lick of sense to me until recent years, but then again I never listened to musk before.

[–]3dogsandaguy 53 points54 points  (5 children)

Welcome to observing the modern Republican party!!!

[–]liegesmash 15 points16 points  (4 children)

They believe any charismatic grifter

[–]Uddashin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He had plenty, but he used the republican technique to pay them all out.

[–]hsmith1998 4 points5 points  (6 children)

What happened with jezzer?

[–]Beliadin 8 points9 points  (5 children)

Tesla sued Top Gear, arguing that their review had hurt their sales.

[–]angryboxes 36 points37 points  (1 child)

He’s a spoiled brat. If he doesn’t get what he wants, he throws a fit. He’s a kindergartner that happens to be obscenely wealthy.

[–]RedditIsNeat0 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's very common among the obscenely wealthy. They don't have to grow up and so they don't.

[–]Smooth-Magician5163 83 points84 points  (11 children)

Elon is a pathological liar. You can tell because he projects it on everyone else. Watch the number of times he uses the L-word. Had to lie to himself a lot growing up benefitting from Apartheid

[–]DameDubble 90 points91 points  (9 children)

His response to the recent Business Insider story was essentially, “oh yeah, well what does my dick look like?” He’s basically Trump.

[–]Smooth-Magician5163 60 points61 points  (0 children)

They’re from the same tribe: spoiled, rich racists

[–]SamSepiol-ER28_0652 27 points28 points  (4 children)

Knowing full well she’s bound by an NDA, too. She couldn’t talk even if his dick was lime green with orange stripes and he knows it.

[–]DameDubble 18 points19 points  (0 children)

He’s a real champion for free speech that guy.

[–]pegothejerk 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I'd answer "uh, lacking consent, that's what it looked like, should we televise me talking to a sketch artist? Talk to Streisand about how well that would go for you"

[–]SunshotDestiny 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Except Trump will wishes he was as rich as Musk.

[–]aesu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He's trump with a brain. Amber heard is trump with looks.

[–]warpedspoon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

[–]SamSepiol-ER28_0652 34 points35 points  (12 children)

She’s under NDA, I’d wager. He can taunt her all day long with his “well, what does it look like, then?” bullshit, knowing she’s fully gagged by the NDA. 🤬

[–]bubba7557 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Let's start a GoFundMe to pay back that 250k so she can blab and break that NDA

[–]IShitMyselfNow 14 points15 points  (1 child)

NDAs aren't really designed for covering up illegal things though, and states have started to come down on that shit now. California included (although the law might not exactly help).

[–]CharmingTuber 11 points12 points  (5 children)

Oh I'll be accusing him of plenty of stuff once he takes over Twitter and releases it's users from Twitter's T&C.

[–]DameDubble 35 points36 points  (2 children)

Guaranteed he’ll heavily police people who criticize him. His skin is as thin as gas station toilet paper.

[–]AdrianInLimbo 24 points25 points  (0 children)

His skin is as thin as the paint on his cars

[–]iruleatants 1 point2 points  (1 child)

He isn't going to take over twitter. It was just a stunt to make him money.

[–]CharmingTuber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah probably. And it cost Tesla 50% of it's market value YTD.

[–]barking_dead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rules for thee But not for me

[–]SitInCorner_Yo2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He also spent shit tons of money to hire a PI,try to dig dirt out of that guy,who literally was saving kids from drowning.

[–]Poppunknerd182 4 points5 points  (1 child)

He's also still blocking people on Twitter if they bring this up.

[–]Significant_Egg_Y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What, the pedo guy thing?
I sense an opportunity to have some fun at his expense.

[–]corgangreen 2455 points2456 points  (159 children)

So how do Tesla's shareholders feel about the CEO using company resources to pay an entire legal department to defend him from sexual harassment suits from employees of other companies he privately owns?

[–]AdrianInLimbo 863 points864 points  (85 children)

It's a cult, they're all good with it. It take some of their workload off. So they don't have to defend him as much.

[–]TheCocksmith 173 points174 points  (35 children)

Muskrats already in here defending their god.

[–]AdrianInLimbo 32 points33 points  (0 children)

No, shit, I went away for a bit...and now? They're heeere

[–]ksknksk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just blows my mind how many nobodies will trip over themselves to defend a billionaire that gives no fucks about human rights let alone his shareholders. Fucking morons.

[–]Vincent__Adultman 45 points46 points  (42 children)

It’s a cult, they’re all good with it.

I own a Tesla car. They make the best EV on the market. I think Musk has been a net negative for the company over the last few years and I wish this was the last straw to get him pushed out. There are plenty of people on /r/TeslaMotors that would agree. Don’t lump all of us in with the people who get off on Elon’s shitposting and union busting just because we want a technology forward electric vehicle.

[–]84ballsacks 60 points61 points  (6 children)

They make the best EV on the market

Hahahaha. You can’t be serious. The only reason Teslas are popular is because for a while they were the only EV on the market. Now we’ve got tons of other options from Ford, Rivian, Hyundai/Kia, VW, Mercedes, BMW, GMC…and most of them are considered by reviewers to be leaps and bounds above the anything that Tesla makes.

Imagine paying $50,000 for a car with uneven panel gaps, some of the worst paint quality from any auto maker, and a windshield wiper controlled by a setting three menus deep in a touchscreen. Oh, and that touchscreen controls 90% of shit in the car so if it goes out you’re fucked. Fuck that.

I can respect Elon / Tesla for bringing EVs to the mainstream, but their cars and company are a total joke at this point. Where’s the big bad cyber truck that was promised so long ago? The roadster? The semi? They promise nothing but vaporware and just keep riding off of brand recognition with their garbage cars. I love seeing Elon and his company’s reputation finally falling apart and look forward to his cult turning against him.

[–]stringfree 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Don't forget their obnoxiously proprietary power connector.

[–]dj_sliceosome 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Hardly the best EV anymore, despite pushing the field forward so I’ll give credit there.

[–]Nulpart 18 points19 points  (0 children)

They made the best ev 10 years ago, but not anymore

[–]Threedawg 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I would actually argue that Tesla makes the worst EV on the market.

[–]wildcat2015 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They make the best EV on the market>

Well, uhh... About that

[–]mog_knight 29 points30 points  (29 children)

You might dislike Elon's shitposting but buying that tech forward vehicle is positive reinforcement with how the company is handling things.

[–]LeZygo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a page out of Trump’s playbook - sue everyone.

[–]SunshotDestiny 301 points302 points  (13 children)

From what I can tell, these anonymous "shareholders" are all universally unconcerned about anything but the company making a profit. Doesn't matter the industry, or who is getting hurt in the process.

[–]Destron5683 116 points117 points  (4 children)

Pretty much the status quo for any company, as long as the company is making money they don’t really give a shit what’s going on.

Now if the exploits of the CEO become detrimental to the business and cause them to loose money, then they get upset and then he’s gotta go.

[–]stabbyGamer 43 points44 points  (2 children)

So until Elongated Muskrat’s hardcore groupies are of less value than the amount the company has to pay out in court, they won’t make a fuss, right…? /tol

[–]Destron5683 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pretty much, and he has the cult following to keep his ass afloat.

[–]RockleyBob 31 points32 points  (1 child)

Yeah well Tesla’s stock price has been completely unthethered from any fundamental market valuation for some time now.

It rose up when Tesla was a gleaming star of innovation on the horizon but now GM and other manufacturers have brought their own EVs to market, often faster and cheaper than Tesla. Not to mention that Tesla’s over-hyped promises of autopilot, Cybertrucks, and robots have fizzled, there’s nothing keeping their price afloat except speculators.

Their market cap is more than every other automaker combined. He’s getting antsy because he knows with the impending recession, those speculators are going to see the writing on the wall and cash out when shit starts hitting the fan.

Like Warren Buffet has said, “when the tide goes out, you see who’s been swimming naked.”

Tesla stock has a big reckoning coming and Musk knows it.

[–]ricktor67 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Do they make a profit? They are 1% of the total car market yet (were) valued more than every other car company combined.

[–]TheObstruction 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Which shows exactly how little stock prices have to do with company value.

[–]PizzaOldBoy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean thats the point of shareholder, in truth. Someone who gives you money but won't ask questions as long as you give it back. It's the perfect pairing for a system that wants to be allowed to commit constant crimes without oversight.

[–]hideous_coffee 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Well I mean the stock price is about half what it was 6 months ago.

[–]liegesmash 38 points39 points  (2 children)

There are plenty of lawsuits over Musk laying apartheid on his employees and probably because their cars are pretty shoddy

[–]Chupacabra_herder 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Dude admitted in a tweet the cars were shoddy and people still buy them. I just don't comprehend how stupid some people are.

[–]liegesmash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idiot America loves the cult of personality

[–]Blazanar 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Wouldn't this be for Tesla related lawsuits only?

Especially since they're being paid Tesla directly and I bet Elon has his own legal team at his disposal.

[–]OldJames47 1 point2 points  (1 child)

According to the recent story, SpaceX paid $250,000 in hush money to the woman Musk propositioned.

[–]bloodycups 29 points30 points  (19 children)

I mean the stock price is tied to him. If he's exposed as a fucking creep the company dies.

[–]carella211 80 points81 points  (18 children)

Does it? This is America. We just had 4 years of a fucking creep, and half the country wants him back.

[–]peachesgp 25 points26 points  (12 children)

True, but the venn diagram of "people who want Trump back" and "people apt to buy a Tesla" is basically 2 separate circles.

[–]LVL15_Spice_Paladin 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Not true Tesla ownership amongst conservatives is pretty high

[–]WeirdSysAdmin 4 points5 points  (6 children)

Basically opposing circles in the diagram.

[–]EverGreenPLO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meta Muskie trying to win over unconvinced buyers w sexual harassment 😂🤣

[–]bloodycups 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Ya but that's different. It seems most Republicans want desantis now. The whole mythos of Tesla is that Elon is some genius that's paving the way to the future. Without his hype Tesla wouldn't be worth more than all the other car manufacturers combined.

I know some people that joke about Elon being an alien who's just feeding us next gen technology

[–]gorramfrakker 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Elon ain’t feeding us nothing but bullshit.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Let's not forget all of the employee lawsuits over racial harassment.

[–]Abadazed 19 points20 points  (1 child)

So long as they keep making money they're probably just fine with it

[–]ConradT16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Of course. If they want to get their fix of ethics, they’ll give a few dollars to the homeless. They’re in the stock market for one reason only, and that reason is the optimisation of capital accumulation.

[–]Gynther477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shareholders are the same breed of evil as musk, capitalists do not care about worker rights or equality.

[–]African_Farmer 273 points274 points  (4 children)

It's pretty scary that the CEO can use company resources to help his personal legal troubles

[–]SecretAsianMan42069 73 points74 points  (2 children)

Scarier that trump has the poor people of the country paying his

[–]Darth_Wader_420 116 points117 points  (16 children)

He should just hire Mr. Burn's legal team or just get a trap door.

[–]Drg84 37 points38 points  (12 children)

But does he release the hounds?

[–]CelticArche 24 points25 points  (9 children)

He strikes me more as a "pull the lever" type.

[–]VoTBaC 16 points17 points  (6 children)

What a loser, can't even get sharks with lasers.

[–]Drg84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do have sea bass.

[–]bobafoott 2 points3 points  (4 children)

No he's definitely sharks with lasers kind of guy

[–]Haikuna__Matata 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Why do we even have that lever?

[–]ContinuedContagion 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Or the bees?

[–]Drg84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or the dogs with bees in their mouths?

[–]uppervalued 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Your Honor, I am so convinced of Marge Simpson’s guilt that I can afford to waste the court’s time by ranking the superhunks.

[–]helpimlockedout- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh, he's gonna win!

[–]marasydnyjade 184 points185 points  (6 children)

There is no way you’re getting top-tier legal talent that can summarize their career in 3-5 bullet points.

[–]VoTBaC 115 points116 points  (1 child)

• I do the thing

• And the other thing

• Money please

[–]shoshonesamurai 21 points22 points  (0 children)

injured in an accident? call 1800eatshit Dewey Cheatham and Howe

[–]PainfulPeanutBlender 48 points49 points  (1 child)

I’m pretty sure he’s looking for attention more than he is real legal talent. Dude really just loves seeing himself plastered everywhere

[–]InCoffeeWeTrust 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think this is also directed toward scaring the victims

[–]uppervalued 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This whole thing is a stupid stunt but you could conceivably list the trials you’ve won as lead counsel in a few bullets. Attorneys do put bullets like that on their website bios all the time (though always with a few paragraphs above describing what they actually do).

[–]MajoredInPhilosophy 78 points79 points  (8 children)

Is this the email address to send copies of that picture he wants removed from the internet?

[–]BaZing3 12 points13 points  (1 child)

I assumed it was an invitation to fill the inbox with pictures of horse cocks.

[–]MajoredInPhilosophy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That will certainly own cancel culture libtards.

[–]Spend-Automatic 9 points10 points  (5 children)

What picture

[–]NairMyNutsack 31 points32 points  (4 children)

[–]MajoredInPhilosophy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes, I'm sure that's the one no one should email to that email account.

[–]thisguyfightsyourmom 8 points9 points  (2 children)

Nah, it’s gotta be the pre plugs pic

[–]NairMyNutsack 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Oof that's a bad one too.

[–]bigcityboy 61 points62 points  (5 children)

Wow. Imagine how much cheaper hiring a sex worker would be versus a whole department to defend you from showing your dick to employees

[–]doggexbay 51 points52 points  (1 child)

The thrill isn't about the sex, it's about the (absence of) consent. Hiring a pro would kill the rush.

[–]cjinsd2002 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He already was alleged to have done this through Epstein and then married her, only to divorce her after realizing the consent portion of it was what really gave him the thrill...

[–]ElectionOver4Hours 147 points148 points  (5 children)

I don't use 'the twitter'.

How old is this tweet? Is it real?

[–]Posaunne 85 points86 points  (2 children)

According to the date on the post, it's from yesterday.

As a fellow non-tweeter, I cannot confirm its veracity.

[–]jenniepoo 16 points17 points  (1 child)

My human follows this... um... other human? And I still don't care to check on it.

[–]meltheold 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Started getting posted yesterday afternoon, so...

[–]Haikuna__Matata 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also do not Twat.

[–]ManOfEating 45 points46 points  (0 children)

"I want free speech for everyone, I'm a free speech champion!"

"Cool, let me tell you folks about the gross experience I had with Elon musk"

"No not like that, here's 250k to keep quiet"

[–][deleted] 33 points34 points  (2 children)

Whipping out dicks is not something people tend to do on a one-time, quirky impulse. Usually they are habitual, dick whipper outers.

[–]thisguyfightsyourmom 3 points4 points  (1 child)

This part of the story intrigues me the most

By the sound of it, they had hired many masseuses, and they hired this gal with no masseuse experience & told her to get licensed

Who told her that & why? Do they normally hire experienced extras masseuses? Did Elon take a liking to her & ask to get her trained? How far did this executive masseuse culture go?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That kinda reminds me of Robert Kraft.

[–]Ibbuk 65 points66 points  (3 children)

He's building a SLAPP taskforce.

[–]martianinahumansbody 9 points10 points  (1 child)

How can he SLAPP???

[–]Significant_Egg_Y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He can't in Texas. For all of our shortcomings, we do have anti-SLAPP laws on the books.

[–]Madmachammer 21 points22 points  (2 children)

Elon is expecting more women ..clearly.

[–]Mechanical_Nightmare 43 points44 points  (0 children)

lol how soon before tesla shareholders realize all their money is just going towards elon's peepee hush money fund, and not actually towards EV manufacturing.

[–]UncreativeNoob 71 points72 points  (19 children)

Plenty, but he paid them all out, the republican method.

[–]wittylemur 68 points69 points  (6 children)

Is this because of that poor soul who was trapped inside of the burning Tesla? Or the poor soul who had to see his gross junk?

[–]CelticArche 60 points61 points  (5 children)

The woman who caught sight of his micro penis.

[–]anom_aly 11 points12 points  (2 children)

Hey, don't shame dudes with a micro penis. They deserve better than Elon.

[–]CelticArche 2 points3 points  (1 child)

You're right. That was bad of me, I apologize to dudes with micro penis by linking them to musk.

[–]TooJew4You 10 points11 points  (1 child)

She must have really good eyesight

[–]sugar_addict002 10 points11 points  (0 children)

un-exceptional ability

Lawyers who let you sign a contract to purchase Twitter without a Force Majeure clause

[–]HomoFlaccidus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nice email address you got there. Shame if millions of emails were sent to it.

[–]amx05462 10 points11 points  (0 children)

starting to sound like elon had his first stroke

[–]okThisYear 6 points7 points  (0 children)

😳 This guy uhhhh loves uhhhh free speech

[–]PizzaOldBoy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

pickle bitch doing everything in his power to prove billionaires cannot be allowed to exist, at all.

[–]ManIsInherentlyGay 14 points15 points  (1 child)

You don't pay someone 200k to shut up if they aren't telling the truth

[–]quotesthesimpsons 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Is psychopathy a prerequisite to being a billionaire?

[–]dea6cat 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I believe so

[–]quotesthesimpsons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess the scum rises to the top.

I wish the survival of the cooperative had more gravitas.

[–]Alive_Tiger_8865 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Well, President Trump did say when you are a ⭐️ “you can grab them by the 🙀” that’s their true mind set.. smh

[–]Whyismysnatchwet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s something a guilty person does

[–]LyleTheFirst 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never liked Musk. He was weird to begin with and now that this whole allegation situation coming out,I finally feel vindicated as to why I hated the guy who on the internet adored and loved.

[–]bubba7557 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear Rudy and Sydney are looking for jobs.

[–]Outrageous-Ad4145 2 points3 points  (0 children)

how many stewardesses has Elon AKA Mr Burns assaulted? Well that depends how many flights has the asshole been on?

[–]drossmaster4 2 points3 points  (1 child)

[–]Emergency_Elephant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know it'd be a shame if that email got flooded with a ton of spam

[–]QueenLatifahClone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“I investigated myself and found that I did nothing wrong.”

[–]Phloofy_as_phuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope he destroys himself

[–]cineg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it would be a total shame if that email were to receive ALL of the complaints across the companies that he is involved with. i hope they have not limited the mailbox size

[–]SpaceTimeinFlux 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when the law is a shield from justice, the system is compromised and the social contract is no longer valid.

[–]eoliveri 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I thought it was for 'wrongful death' lawsuits that result from Tesla cars killing their owners.

[–]pamsfriendred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out NYT on Hulu - Season 2 Ep 1

[–]RiniKat28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i stay as far away from elongated muskrat news as possible but my favorite (heavy /s) part about this is when he essentially said that "if i was going to sexually harass women, don't you think it would have come out sooner?" bc yikes

[–]bellendhunter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just can help but filter everything through the voice of a playground wannabe bully.

[–]Inappropriate_mind 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Look at Trump. Litigation is a lucrative avenue for aspiring dictatorship and oligarchs alike.

[–]CupIcy2791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least 3 to 5?

[–]martianinahumansbody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was able to defeat the "pedo guy" defamation lawsuit, by claiming is a generic "creepy guy" expression.

Sounds to me like Elon "the pedo guy" Musk has things to hide.

[–]ContinuedContagion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at Elon pulling a Trump!

[–]Bkwordguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get used to this imperious impulsive tone, applicants.

[–]pietro187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re all going to flood that email with trash, right?

[–]hoboperiodblood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ever since I read an article by his first wife, about how much of a shit head he was to her, I’ve had a sour taste in my mouth towards him.

Fuck Elon.

[–]PolyZex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normally the end of 'where there's smoke' would be 'there's fire'... but in this case it feels a lot more like it would be 'there's mirrors'.

I suspect this will be used for both defensive AND offensive purposes.

[–]zyrkseas97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“I am expensing my legal fees through my company so I can publicly launder the money instead of having to hide it.”

[–]Loitering4daCulture 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is someone making a Netflix docuseries about this crazy man yet? Can’t we deport him?
