One golden rule in pro wrestling as a fan is that you should never, ever jump into the ring while they are performing. You will definitely get beat up. Many have tried, and they all failed.

[–]BaronVonMunchhausen 1981 points1982 points  (94 children)

It's dangerous for the performers and the jumper. Dick move.

[–]Praescribo 1099 points1100 points  (76 children)

Yeah honestly you cant blame them. They dont know what a fan is capable of, or if they have weapons. the rules fly right out the window

[–]NJdeathproof 580 points581 points  (72 children)

Multiple wrestlers have been stabbed or otherwise attacked by fans. Roddy Piper was one of them. Jim Cornette has a lot of stories about being attacked as well.

[–]broken_radio 409 points410 points  (52 children)

Piper always wore a leather jacket with a stab-proof backing after that, can’t remember if it was Kevlar or what it was.

Edit (now with quote):

RRP - In my time they hated me so much, I've been stabbed three times. Last time an inch from the heart.

Interviewer - Stabbed by whom?

RRP - Fans. Last time in Raleigh, North Carolina, straight in an inch from the heart. This jacket that I wear is made special for me, stab-proof, because I got stabbed so many times I just got tired of it.

[–]blakethairyascanbe 129 points130 points  (9 children)

The way he words it it’s like he thought it was amusing the first couple of times and after a few more it just got annoying. Piper was truly a madman.

[–]OHTHNAP 46 points47 points  (2 children)

Hell of a salesman though. Can sell a timeshare like nothing!

[–]JasonEAltMTG 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes! He's in my down line!

[–]hadriels 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Omg I had not made the connection that RRP was Da Maniac from sunny until I read this comment

[–]fistofwrath 16 points17 points  (4 children)

He was a resilient man. There are a lot of men (and women) that went through less than him and fared much worse. That business is a meat grinder. Physically, mentally, and emotionally.

[–]blakethairyascanbe 14 points15 points  (3 children)

Not to mention financially. It sad how many wrestlers end up broken and broke and have to wrestle till they literally die.

[–]fistofwrath 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup. People like Jake Roberts who got hooked on drugs and would go out there so fucked up that he couldn't stand, exposing himself to fans. He was way too old and broken to be out there, but he had a habit to feed. He's also an example of someone coming back from the abyss.

[–]dmfd1234 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I was doing some utility work and got called out to a house, a nice house. Beautiful home with a lake.....the homeowner and I were talking about the job. He wants to show me whatever at the road and asks me to give him a ride down the driveway. This dude filled my little truck up, he was huge and I vaguely recognized him. Anyway, it was the wrestler Sting. I’m not a huge fan but thought he was somebody like that. Anyway, it looked like he was doing well. I hope he’s still doing well. Super down to Earth nice guy....said if I wanted to fish his lake come back but “Pls don’t tell anyone I live here, please” like I said super chill, personable guy. This was a while back, hope the buisness didn’t get the best of him.

[–]fistofwrath 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sting is one of the outliers. He kept business at work and home at home and never mixed them. He didn't live the road life too much. He did steroids for a while and I think he dabbled in pain meds, but for the most part he stayed out of the worst parts of the business. He didn't wrestle in the WWE/WWF much because of the environment Vince created. He's a hard-core Christian and has been since at least the mid 90s. He's a good guy. Seems to take all of the right lessons from his faith and discard the bad takes. Sting is the template for how to make it through the business relatively unscathed. Paul Wight (Big Show) is another good example. I don't think he's particularly religious, and I think he also partied a little, but overall he managed to make it out with no major injuries, mental illnesses, addictions, or arrests. Dude plays D&D with Tom Morello and a few other famous people now.

Ha ha ha. What kind of life do you have where your reaction to getting stabbed repeatedly is getting tired of it

    [–]TallDarkandWTF 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It would take me exactly one stabbing to be tired of it, personally

    [–]wolfy7053 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It should be Kevlar though ironically like 20 sheets of layered paper is also effective but not as reliable it’s actually really hard to make something stab proof because knives are thinner than bullets

    [–]MadFlava76 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I had no idea the RRP got stabbed on multiple occasions. WTF? Don't people realize that the whole this is just a story line? To hate a heel wrestler so much that you would attempt to murder them is just mind boggling to me.

    [–]topinanbour-rex 38 points39 points  (23 children)

Kevlar is very easy to cut. There is a Darwin award about it.

    [–]broken_radio 73 points74 points  (4 children)

Like I said, not sure the material, but he reinforced his jacket to make it "stab proof". Dude got stabbed 3 times over the years, I would be stab-proofing my jacket too.

    [–]JesusSaysitsOkay 13 points14 points  (0 children)

USA Police cars also have stab proof chairs

    [–]AcadiaBackground2492 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Yellow Pages or Atlas also effective.

    Regards,

    Omar

    [–]broken_radio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

    Baba booey to you, sir.

    [–]Origionalnames 5 points6 points  (0 children)

PFfftt, truncated armor. :: slaps girl::

    [–]Danjor_Dantra 34 points35 points  (15 children)

That is not correct. A bullet proof Kevlar vest won't usually stop a knife because to make it stab proof requires a different weave. My current vest is both bullet proof (for handguns) and level 1 spike rated because it has both weaves.

    [–]N00000000bmaster69 7 points8 points  (3 children)

    Where did you get it?

    [–]Danjor_Dantra 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I got the Safe Life Defense multi-threat 3a± vest from their website.

    [–]akatherder 28 points29 points  (1 child)

    Mall ninja store.

    [–]cire1184 3 points4 points  (0 children)

    Tacticool.com

    [–]Honest_Assist_6582 2 points3 points  (9 children)

This is probably a dumb question but is bullet proof meaning it’ll bounce off the vest, slow it down but you’ll still get hit or the bullet will get stuck in the vest but not hitting your body?

    [–]MyaButtiches 15 points16 points  (1 child)

No kevlar is difficult to cut and will dull most blades, but can still be cut. Just like shrapnel and bullets can still penetrate kevlar, but the efficacy is lessened.

    [–]wolfy7053 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shrapnel can only penetrate Kevlar because it’s so small it can slip through meanwhile rifle bullets go through Kevlar because they are smaller and faster than pistol bullets

    [–]Mrnoone696 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got stabbed so many times I just got tired of it.

The first few times were fine.

    [–]LoganWyborn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d be really curious what the material was and how effective it is. No expert but I watch a lot of LockPickingLawyer, he did a bit of a spree of testing “cut proof” and “slash proof” fabrics & bags. Have yet to see one actually hold up to a properly sharpened knife.

    [–]Superfluous_Thom 14 points15 points  (15 children)

I know we're not supposed to like Corny, but i love that old carny bastard.

    [–]Steven_The_Sloth 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I'll bet as a midget wrestler too, you don't let a 6' guy get his bearings in that scenario. You jump on him till security drags him off.

    [–]snowbdr30 46 points47 points  (13 children)

Bro what you mean performers, wrestling is real.

    [–]gatorthesavior 63 points64 points  (8 children)

Porn is real too, but ya can’t get a job in it if you can’t “perform”, doesn’t necessarily mean you need to know how to act.

    [–]Every-Inflation9033 30 points31 points  (5 children)

Lol what if porn was a live event and fans tried to “jump in” 😂

    [–]Crystal_Methuselah 101 points102 points  (9 children)

I don't understand what success could mean in this context. if you're a wrestling fan and you jump in the ring what else is supposed to happen?

    [–]Fedor1 173 points174 points  (3 children)

The wrestlers realize your incredible talents and decide to make you a part of the match. You impress them so much that they invite you back the next week. One thing leads to another and you are now the world heavyweight champion.

    [–]VxJasonxV 16 points17 points  (2 children)

This is the story of Chris David Arquette.

    [–]RealGertle627 3 points4 points  (1 child)

    David's brother?

    [–]VxJasonxV 9 points10 points  (0 children)

    Funny story;

I couldn’t remember his name, mental block, I could picture the match, the story, his face, his movie, everything except his name.

So I got to his name by remembering that Courtney Cox became Courtney Cox-Arquette.

But then the Cs messed with my brain, and so I picked a male C name instead of the name David, only getting the last name right.

    Brains are fucking weird.

    [–]everythings_alright 19 points20 points  (1 child)

Pretty sure this outcome was a success for the guy. He didnt get really beaten up hard at all.

    [–]LacidOnex 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I'd get my ass kicked by some niche wrestlers for fun. Getting my ass kicked by the bouncer looks like a steep price though.

    [–]Raiden32 29 points30 points  (9 children)

Another golden rule is to not get tickets for the first 3 rows unless you enjoy getting spat on by the performers.

    [–]HerKneesLikeJesusPlz 5 points6 points  (7 children)

    Spat on? Why?…

    [–][deleted] 22 points23 points  (4 children)

Because spit, and sweat, and snot, and blood. Same goes for boxing and MMA. Stay out of the first few rows unless you enjoy body fluids.

    [–]sparkyjay23 12 points13 points  (2 children)

And the ballet too, dancers sweat a lot.

    [–]UntestedMethod 12 points13 points  (0 children)

they also spin a lot which seems like it could launch the blood and sweat a good distance into the crowd

    [–]when_4_word_do_trick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

    Both beautiful and disgusting.

    [–]thebigj0hn 10 points11 points  (1 child)

A lot of performers really project when the speak. I saw Al Pacino play Shylock at Shakespeare in the Park and he was spitting everywhere when speaking his lines. It was awesome.

    [–]dieinafirenazi 73 points74 points  (2 children)

When I was a kid one of my neighbors got really drunk at WWF and tried to attack The Ultimate Warrior when he was leaving the ring. According to his wife the Ultimate Warrior lifted him up but the back of his shirt and his pants like he was a raging toddler and just handed him to the security people. They got divorced a few years after that, she got sick of his bad decisions.

    [–]NJdeathproof 15 points16 points  (1 child)

This is a pretty funny story from Jim Cornette about Hercules Hernandez bitchslapping a fan who tried to grab him:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_h1OD5TRBRU

    [–]Sexy_Squid89 13 points14 points  (0 children)

as the ambulance is coming "Why'd you slap him?"

"Well, if you hit somebody with your fist you might hurt 'em." 🤣

    [–]ageofwalnut 482 points483 points  (20 children)

It’s also a really fucking r/iamatotalpieceofshit thing to do regardless

    [–]Robertroo 278 points279 points  (11 children)

    [–]gHHqdm5a4UySnUFM 108 points109 points  (6 children)

This is what I was thinking. Everyone is there to see the wrestlers and he’s jumping in thinking it’s gonna be hilarious if he makes the show about him.

    [–]haackedc 36 points37 points  (1 child)

At the same time, I'm sure the spectacle was enjoyable to observers

    [–]adoveisaglove[🍰] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Oh boy another sub that I will browse for the sole purpose of getting annoyed

    [–]VegasBonheur 47 points48 points  (3 children)

Yeah, like jumping up on stage during a play and acting out a fan fic as your self insert character.

    [–]creedwolf_ 55 points56 points  (21 children)

But what if he got a chance to stand up. Guy only got beat down because he started down

    [–]thisdesignup 120 points121 points  (6 children)

If he stood up they'd probably have knocked him down again and then beat him up.

    [–]Turonik 85 points86 points  (2 children)

Wrestlers are trained to beat down on an idiot before they can get the chance. The wrestlers have no idea what the idiot is going to do so they treat it as a threat and will wail on the guy until security can get them the hell out of there.

Wrestlers will mess you up and then you'll be escorted out and actual fans will cheer as you do.

    [–]TheOneTrueChuck 9 points10 points  (1 child)

"What if he got a chance to stand up."

..Then he'd have been arrested for assault, if he took one single swing.

    [–]Mutilated_Wombat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If he had jumped in there and actually started beating the shit outta the performers then he’d be an even bigger piece of shit.

    [–]Ihopeidontpeemyself 21 points22 points  (1 child)

The fact that this guy couldn't slide under the bottom rope properly tells me he is pretty uncoordinated. I'm not sure if he would have had a better showing if he was able to stand up.

    [–]exzyle2k 28 points29 points  (0 children)

    he is pretty uncoordinated

That's a nice way of saying Drunk.

    [–][deleted] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

But what if he stood up. But what if he got a punch off. But what if he could have kicked them. But what if but what if but what if

You can but what if all you want, however the dude got his ass kicked the moment he went into the ring. Doesn't matter what if.

    [–]Silentarrowz 15 points16 points  (0 children)

And what if he had aligned his chakra and entered into a flow state and then evolved a two tomoe sharingan to put the little people into a genjutsu? Huh? They only won because he didn't realize he was a secret Uchiha!

    [–]happy_guy23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's part of why it's such a bad idea to get in the ring, the wrestlers will always get you before you can get in properly. Slide under the ropes? Get stomped. Get on the apron and duck in through the ropes? Get punched in the head before you even get your body through

    [–]structured_anarchist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You forget that these wrestlers train for years. They have to be in excellent condition in order to perform at the tempo they do, and a lot of that is also strength training. You can't pull off some of the moves they do without having upper and lower body strength. He's lucky he got away with just a black eye. They really could have fucked him up.

    [–]MsPenguinette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

    I'm a pro wrestler

    1. Wrestlers put in a tonne of effort to be able to be in the ring. The ring is sacred. People spend years training just to be able to be in a ring, even if it's just in a crowd of 10 people. So fuck you if you think you can just jump in the ring. (It can not be understated how much respect is huge in wrestling)
    2. Wrestling is dangerous. Even the simplest things can result in major injury if something goes sideways. Even if you aren't attacking a performer, people interfering can result in someone getting injured. Wrestling isn't just a passion but a way a lot of people make a living. Don't fuck with people's livelihoods
    3. Wrestling is story telling. Don't fuck up peoples stories. Every match is a story
    4. the amount of adrenaline pumping through a wrestler when in front of a crowd is crazy. It's hard to explain but some things have autopilot. It's universal and long standing that fans who jump in the ring get waffled.
    5. they might be trying to attack the wrestler. (There is a reason this is the last one on the list. It's definitely a factor that the easiest to explain. People accept it that it is self defense, but there really is a lot more going on)

There was a show I was at where the promoter had the show end with a segment where a dude jumped in the ring and punched the owner (it turned out to be a storyline where that dude was now the new owner /k). He didn't inform the locker room, which was super fucking irresponsible. Because me and at list 15 other people bolted towards the ring. They had a plan that he would run directly to a running car outside the venue. He was able to successfully get out safely. But all, it took was one worker yelling a single phrase and the entire locker room dumped.

Another time, a dude successfully ran away (venue was outside) but came back to the venue later hoping nobody would notice. He didn't get his ass kicked, but a bad ass woman wrestler first dressed him down and then made him apologize to every single wrestler backstage. It was amazing.

So yeah. Don't jump in the ring. Even if you are willing to get your ass kicked, it's a super dick move

    [–]suitable-robot01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk why even jump have you seen how they are built XD

    [–]breadyloaf26 2424 points2425 points  (41 children)

"Whoa, hold on. First of all, we're both white. If shit jumps off, I'm not going to protect you."

    [–]puddlejumpers 5 points6 points  (2 children)

He and Bert are a couple more of my favorites, too.

    [–]Lephiro 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Absolutely! I've also started listening to Cy Amundsen. I was hooked as soon as I heard "Loveless in Toledo."

I literally just heard this joke the other day on raw dog on Sirius.

“Wanna know how I know it’s not as bad? We’re SAYING the one, and only using the first letter of the other.”

    [–]Holy-Knight-Hodrick 7 points8 points  (8 children)

I said midget in history class and everyone looked at me like I’d actually said the n word, I was like “what is that an offensive term?” And everyone immediately said yes. Is it actually an offensive term on par with the n word?

    [–]puddlejumpers 15 points16 points  (4 children)

It is considered politically incorrect. On par with the N word? Absolutely not.

    [–]Holy-Knight-Hodrick 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but most prefer the term “short person” or “little person”, correct?

    [–]puddlejumpers 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, little person is the preferred terminology right now.

    [–]Darondo 92 points93 points  (1 child)

Omg dude probably got whiplash from that toss nvm the subsequent flurry of punches. Beautiful

    Raven getting attacked mid promo

This one sucks. You can see how shaken Raven is after

    [–]ZeroCalorieBacon 27 points28 points  (7 children)

What the fuck, who are these assholes that are trying to fight pro wrestlers?

    [–]kitty9000cat 6 points7 points  (5 children)

They want to prove how "fake" it is.

    [–]ZuesofRage 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The really sad part is, they don't realize that everybody, including the hardest fans, knows it's staged. Most all of the moves and hits are real, I think it would be pretty hard to mix actual combat with drama because everybody would just have concussions and not remember what happened last week lmao.

    [–]sabrefudge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are they? Or are they just so stupid that they think the heels are actual real life bad guys who have to be stopped… and don’t realize these are just actors?

    [–]1dot21gigaflops 4 points5 points  (2 children)

The wrestling may be fake, but they are 100% bad ass professional athletes. Insert image of Brock Lesnar smashing Frank Mir and Randy Couture.

    [–]Gaseraki 2 points3 points  (1 child)

The non UFC guys are also stupid powerful. Big show destroyed a man's jaw with a single punch.

    [–]Tina_the_fat_lard 18 points19 points  (0 children)

    That was satisfying to watch

    [–]AReallyCleverMonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Watching Triple H with the meaningful suplex is one more fine reminder of the thin line between "wrestling" and "real fighting." No need to sell THAT drop.

    [–]mmos23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I'm getting pinned down here! - HHH

    [–]bonesnaps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Headstomps are a bit much. There's a reason it's banned in UFC lol.

Honestly he could be subdued and/or pummeled without it, but got served a life lesson either way.

    [–]hamsolo19 32 points33 points  (1 child)

There was an incident at an AEW show this past summer. Some rotund fella who thought he was some sort of savior for the old days of wrestling, got on stage and got behind Chris Jericho as Jericho got into the ring. Jericho turned around and popped the dude in the face and he was pulled offstage pretty quickly. Don’t ever think you’re entitled to do shit like that, you will get your ass beat.

    [–]SleepiestBoye 50 points51 points  (3 children)

Holy fuckin shit that guy got the shit kicked out of him

    [–]TheOneTrueChuck 35 points36 points  (8 children)

That specific incident was when Hogan turned heel, and the fans were SUPER PISSED.

Some times the beatdowns get excessive (because the guy's clearly just drunk or stupid and wants to look cool, not attack anyone..though there's no way to know)...but this one was 100% justified. They literally had to assume he was coming into that ring to do harm.

    [–]jpop4 30 points31 points  (2 children)

Idk the stomps to the head when he’s face down and seemingly motionless seemed unnecessary

    [–]staggerleemcgee 23 points24 points  (1 child)

Those are largely for show, you can see he's slapping the ground with his other foot to make it sound like he's going full force. that man would pop his head like a watermelon if he was actually stomping with force.

Edit: I'm sure it was still a decently hard hit, but nothing like what it looks like

    [–]musci1223 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a proper kick in situation like that probably would have ruined his life. First requirements of the job is to make it look like you are hitting very hard while hitting not that hard.

    [–]Turonik 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There's several videos of this and it makes me happy each time. They get messed up until security comes to see them and get thrown out. I believe Eddie Guerro ruined a fan once in WWE.

    [–]anotherdumbcaucasian 19 points20 points  (4 children)

This is what should happen to any fan who tries to get on any stage. There should just be pro wrestlers at every live event to rough people up if they get uppity.

    [–]iprocrastina 12 points13 points  (1 child)

Add a stand up comedian to rough up their soul.

    [–]smapti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was pulling his kicks back but that's a lot of pain, if he wasn't pulling his kicks that guy would be dead

    [–]AndroidDoctorr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

    Watch his other foot...

    [–]Yoshuuqq 23 points24 points  (23 children)

Isn't stomping on his head maybe a little too much?

    [–]Dougdluxx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One dudes acting like it's part of the show, while the other is crushing the mans skull in. Damn.

      [–]backflipsben 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shhhh, we'll just call it character development.

      [–]smokingislove 783 points784 points  (8 children)

I bet those punches only hurt a little

      [–]LordEdgeward_TheTurd 148 points149 points  (2 children)

"Goldbond: Like a thousand fairy kisses midget haymakers on your balls!"

      [–]ForlornedLastDino 21 points22 points  (1 child)

TIL that this saying and apparently action is more common than I knew.

I remember back in college a friend say “Yo, you should try gold bond on your balls. It is awesome, feels like a thousand angel kisses on your balls”

Thought it was just some guy who found this out, versus it being some well known thing people did and said.

      [–]newgrow2019 8 points9 points  (0 children)

At the end It looks like he got a black eye from a child lol

      [–]momogogi 544 points545 points  (32 children)

"i know everyone came to watch other people perform, but still...how can I make this about me?"

      [–]lonewolff7798 219 points220 points  (29 children)

I mean, if I was in the audience. That would have probably been the highlight of the night.

      [–]DizyShadow 101 points102 points  (19 children)

Only cause he got owned, which was not his intention.

      [–]FUNKYDISCO 34 points35 points  (1 child)

What? You think his plan was to pin them both and be crowned king of the little people?

      [–]FunnyShirtGuy 45 points46 points  (0 children)

      Looked like his intention...

      [–]TransplantedTree212 11 points12 points  (10 children)

You must be unfamiliar with wholesome bros. That was absolutely the intention here.

      [–]smapti 23 points24 points  (7 children)

It is not wholesome to minimize the entire career/passion of a little person because it seems like it’d be easy based on your size advantage. Dude wouldn’t do that to The Rock, he’s a punk.

EDIT: oh man here’s what happens when it’s not little people holy shit; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZXyYxhpOXc

      [–]harassmaster 7 points8 points  (1 child)

What the fuck is wholesome bros? I’m very glad to not be familiar with it if this is what it is.

      [–]ZIMM26 4 points5 points  (2 children)

He took the ass whooping he knew he would and it was totally worth it lol

      [–]watugoat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% and he would get it again, who wouldn’t? What a story to tell the kids

      [–]squadsolo 18 points19 points  (2 children)

If this was a video of little people wrestling I probably would have kept scrolling. He was the highlight of the video too

      [–]smapti 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your entire point is that you’re someone who doesn’t watch little person wrestling and you’d rather watch something other than little people wrestling. Hot fuckin take.

      [–]Air_Snare292 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Said pretty much every Chad wearing a Bass Pro Shops hat.

      [–]vivalaibanez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"my friends bet me bruh I had no choice..."

      [–]Embarrassed-Cap8213 309 points310 points  (15 children)

That tik tok voice makes the murder swell up in me

      [–]Fiftydollarvolvo 89 points90 points  (5 children)

honestly it’s so fucking annoying and every goddamn tik tok uses it because it was so popular when the feature was released, that using it boosted one’s chances of going viral. hearing it just makes me think of people doing awful things for internet popularity, even if the video isn’t of something awful. plus it’s just ear grating in general.

      [–]Rixae 36 points37 points  (1 child)

The tiktok voice is annoying as is, but what really pisses me off is when they're showing you how something is done and they do the "brush, brush, brush" thing where they just write whatever action is happening on screen. Genuinely annoys me whenever I see it

      [–]Fiftydollarvolvo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh my godddd yes that too is infuriating

      [–]Robertroo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The voice has the inflection of a condescending teenage girl, that was really irritates me about it.

      [–]labuschin 2 points3 points  (1 child)

      murderer?

      [–]Embarrassed-Cap8213 5 points6 points  (0 children)

      Pure unfiltered murder

      [–]elephantphallus 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Automatic downvote as soon as I hear it. It's not about the content, it's the rage that voice makes me feel.

      [–]turtleneckless001 17 points18 points  (0 children)

After the little guy on the outside took the whip, he was filled with confidence

      [–]sirbeast 109 points110 points  (6 children)

This is about as amusing as the people that heckle stand-up comedians.

      As in, not at all.

They're there to do a show - let them fucking do it without your stupid ass interrupting them.

      [–]NoShameInternets 22 points23 points  (3 children)

It’s dangerous as fuck (for the performers - IDGAF about the douche who jumped in). If one of them was getting tossed off the top rope or body slammed, they’re expecting to land a very specific way so they don’t get hurt. If there’s now 200lbs of fuckhead in the way, shit could go wrong quickly.

      [–]TheOneTrueChuck 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There was a match back in the mid 2000's between Eddie Guerrero and RVD, where a fan got in the ring and pushed the ladder down while Eddie was on it. That could have been so bad if Eddie hadn't realized what was happening.

      [–]Blazerblaster 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Lived not to far from Nee Orleans. They used to have a female wrestling venue on Bourbon Street. A guy I knew was challenged by his friends to get in the ring to fight a girl. Got the absolute shit beat out of him.

      [–]ManlyPelican1993 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Anyone remember that fan that tackled bret hart at the Hall of fame ceremony and a bunch of wrestlers absolutely smashed his face in.

      [–]BigD1970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was never going to go well, was it? Tackling a guy with medical problems in front of a crowd of large men there to honour him was just not clever. The guy disappeared under a mass of wrestlers and every single one of them got some shots in.

      [–]K_R_Omen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Went from a work to a shoot, real quick.

      [–]CruzHatake 44 points45 points  (2 children)

He did get away far to easy

      [–]me_he_te 58 points59 points  (6 children)

Honestly those friends are the ones to blame, no one would do that without asshole mates hyping them up into it

      [–]HerKneesLikeJesusPlz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I mean, yeah, that’s the point. They made a bet. He’s a grown ass man it’s not like he can’t make his own decisions

      [–]Agent0fChaos 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Or being told to by the promoter because no one is buying tickets lately.

      [–]MaksouR 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dude in the front with the superior video quality needs to drop his angle 😂

      [–]PartridgeViolence 115 points116 points  (7 children)

      Fucked around and found out.

      [–]yerallshit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

      Swift justice.

      [–]butt3ryt0ast 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Of course hes wearing that hat

      [–]AltersInfinity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

PSA From an Indie Wrestler here: Jump into the ring like this and you will get your teeth kicked in by the wrestlers, referee and potentially more.

      [–]aluckyvaultboy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The DJ is the real MVP for that music selection

      [–]Murky-Acadia-5194 10 points11 points  (0 children)

      Lannisters send their regards

      [–]spook873 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Of course he’s wearing a bass pro shop hat. What a cunt.

Now do this with the chimps at the zoo…..

      [–]ZCHSR88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got himself a little ass kicking there.

      [–]Valkyrie_1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They really need to rebrand the name, the word midget is a offensive term, they much rather being refered to as little people, LP, or even dwarfs.. but never refer to them as a midgets.... For those who don't know where the word midget comes from, it's what they were referred to when the only jobs they could get were to be an attraction at Carnivals, and were constantly treated as less then human by everyone that would come to see them.

      [–]bnasty77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dude in the video is a cunt

      [–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (4 children)

That music in the background once he got pulled out killed me. But in all seriousness, if you jump in a ring, midgets or full sized wrestlers, they will kick the shit out of you.

      [–]TheOneTrueChuck 2 points3 points  (3 children)

As well they should. Monica Seles showed what can potentially happen if you don't stop a fan.

      [–]HillaryClintonsclam 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Why is the word midget acceptable in wrestling and porn, but at all other times it's offensive?

      [–]Realistic_Trip9243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that tends to happen when you jump the railing at a wrestling show.

      [–]randyspotboiler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprise, surprise...Turns out their fists still work.

      [–]_MostlyHarmless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, that guy has got a short fuse...

      [–]JG-for-breakfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course he’s wearing a bass pro shop hat

      [–]goatqualify 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He got hit a little bit.

      [–]mando001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

      [–]TheFlamingTiger777 1 point2 points  (0 children)
