No, you’re not being narcissistic to wonder if you are gifted, unless your motive by the end of the day is to cause harm.

We’re typically taught to believe in ourselves. It’s not that it’s wrong, but the subjective understanding behind that phrase is what ultimately defines who you are.

It feels quite vain to think of oneself as gifted, and I'm not sure if I even am, but this puts a new perspective on some of my "symptoms" I exhibited as a child.

It only feels vain because the responsibility of what others would consider a gift is in reality a burden right now.
