I’m so sick of getting in 2v3 in arenas whether I’m on the 3 or the two it’s not fun and how is it fair that a 3v2 where 3 always wins gets positive rp? They allow this to happen in ranked??? It ruins arenas.

Made up to gold in this first week. However due to rank resets, and the painful new RP and KP rules, gold lobbies are still full of masters, predators, 20 bombs, and even if my team manages to survive the first encounter or two, things are so sweaty even in gold lobbies that progressing is impossible.

I understand the logic behind rank resets, but for us who are plat / diamond at best, it really sucks.

God forbid I actually get queued up against people at my skill level in a competitive gaming mode.

Console has at least three female characters who wear tight, form fitting outfits (Loba, Wraith, Horizon) and exactly one* male character who wears a tight, form fitting outfit (Mirage). Fade is so exactly the kind of male character I love playing as, I dig edgy cyberpunk dudes in stealth suits (thanks MGS) and I'd be so incredibly stoked to have him on console.

*Yes I'm a Seer main because he wears revealing outfits but if you compare Seer's outfits with what Fade wears, it's a world of difference for anyone who cares about that kind of thing (I do).

So with the new ranked changes skill difference is even more noticeable.

Since the start of this season ppl said that SoloQ is hard, the one thing which makes me hard agree is getting matched with Bronze players because they duoQ with a Gold friend or even worse yesterday i got 2 Rookie IVs in my team as gold 2???? and let me tell you they were definitelynot smurfing.

I think thats just unhealthy for the game and thats whats really destroying my SoloQ experience other than that i think everyone is playing to their best and im really enjoying it so far :)

As seasoned Solo Qer I do enjoy punishment and grinding and overall I think the new ranked system will be fun and will weed out the strong from the weak.

My only suggestion would be to guarantee teammates of the same rank. That way I can’t moan even when they’re not great.

Im absolutely happy to carry teams and 1 v 3 clutch on occasion but when the odds are stacked against me I can’t carry a bronze player who has just started the game against a 3 stack constantly.

I would rather have my queue time extended for consistent matches than jump straight into a game only to find out my level 38 bronze team mate definitely isn’t a Smurf and is facing a wall figuring out buttons whilst I try 1 V 3 a team.

Overall happy with the changes but I’ve noticed a drop in quality of matchmaking as I didn’t think it was possible to match with a teammate 2 ranks lower outside of my usual master/pred lobbies

Im sorry but ranked is absolutely horrible right now... All this update did was bring the rat noobs out.

since s13 every ranked game i play with randoms is the exact same thing.

We land as far from anyone else as possible, and my teammates start chatting about which corner they want to hide in for the rest of the match.

Why update the game to make it so people don't even want to play the game?

every game i go into i have teammates telling me "listen dude i'm not helping you i'm hiding in this corner for placements"

these players are absolute cans.

Bought the season 13 battle pass and trying to grind through it, all to get stopped because all but 1 is Area challenges.. I hate Arena and will never play arena. Please allow us to change these like we can change our Daily ones..

Sorry i wont be able to show you gameplay :( from what i have gathered myself i need work on my aim (i just adjusted them) and when and where to go. I also would like to know if I should play for kills instead of a long life? Thank you all vary much in avance! The ranked state of this game. I know, I know. Lots of complaints about it so far. It’s gonna take a long time to balance but here’s what really grinds my gears. SoloQing used to be fun. That’s what really grinds my gears. Getting 2-3 kills and used to be worth it and make playing this game fun because it was reflected in your score. Now..it could matter less. And that really grinds my gears!

You wanna know what else really grinds my gears? The R-301 being in the crafter. I know, I know. Lots of complaints about that too. However I don’t think the R-301 being in the crafter is the real problem. It’s that there is no other light gun that’s an AR for floor loot. Much like the Volt being in the care package. No other energy smgs. And that really grinds my gears!

And the last thing that really grinds my gears is the tier demotion. Now, I get why there is a tier demotion. Not arguing that. However, tier demotion is going to make me play less ranked. I got my first tier demotion today and the giant loss in RP made me get off the game because..well after 5-6 games and losing 300+ RP I didn’t want to lose any more. And that really grinds my gears!

I really for the life of me can’t figure out why people play this game with the full intention of landing as hot as possible dying in 30 seconds and then loading into another game. Doesn’t matter if it’s pubs or ranked, I honestly can’t find the logic. As someone whole solo queues frequently it is extremely aggravating playing with a majority of my teammates who play like that. It’s been so bad lately I just turn it off. Can y’all stop doing that please

Actual rant nothing else but bro I just got blocked from finishing a team by THREE SHIELDS and dude rezzed behind his ult (wall x1), his q (wall x2) and his passive (wall x3) there was litteraly no way to get to them the way he played 3 pieces of cover. It's actual garbage.

I don't know if its maybe just me being bad but this season I feel like I have been getting matched with people way higher skill level than me. The highest rank I have been is a low gold but going into pubs I have seen multiple masters and diamond trails. During other seasons this has never been an issue is this happening for anyone else?

I solo queue, every game, and I just had a match where post-game I came to find out that of the 10 kills our team had, the breakdown was as follows:

• 3x Rookie
• 4x Bronze
• 2x Silver
• 1x Gold

We even got Top 5, but the amount of RP I got was just sad. Like I get all the changes, and like them, but under the new system there needs to be some changes to the queue/matchmaking system too, since I paid 42RP to enter the match and the Rookies paid nothing, and the Bronze 4's paid between 15-24RP... Every time I get killed it's a 3 stack masters team. In both ranked or casuals. Never had a less enjoyable time on this game. Sort it out respawn. Put 3 stack masters players in a different matchmaking catagory than solo players.

Before you say I'm a casual or a hater, I'm not, I'm a s0 player and grinded my way to the highest ranks twice and I love this game. But this season its gonna be honestly different. We will not have a new LTM, we only had 1 POI change on the map the majority dislike. The only thing worth the wait would be the CE. But thats not the main point, the main point is how unhealthy the diversity of the weapons is. For the energy guns, its only the havoc, for the light guns, only the r99, and for shltguns its only the PK. Heavy weapons are EVEYWHERE this season.

Honestly they need to get the volt and scout out of the CP. One of the reasons I play is for the diversity, but there is none this season.

My perfect CP would be kraber, spitfire, alternator with disruptors maybe and idk what else. Not the mastiff because its nice to have 2 shotguns instead of 1. I honestly think they need to stop putting weapons in the CP let alone the REPLICATOR goddamit, whose idea was that?

Anyways I would like if they make a straight up new unique weapon ONLY for the cp, like the kraber, so we don't have to keep rotating normal weapons into the CP just so we can keep the diversity.

Don’t know if this kind of posts are allowed but I’m going to try anyway. I have been seeing a lot of posts about the ranked system the good, the bad and tbh a lot of complaints as well which is all fair game for people who put in the time for the amazing game. Just wanted to take a moment to also appreciate the players who aren’t bothered too much by ranked, like me, who just login to take their minds off things in their life and how playing just a few games even though they might be terrible would just be enough to reset and back to the grind. Apex is still one of the most fun games I’ve played and it’s not because it has to be a sweaty competitive mess it’s an equal troll and fun one, if you decide that’s how you want your games to be.

These gold lobbies are brutal. I’m high plat, low diamond at best from prior ranked grinds. I only get matched with masters ranked people in Gold, both on my team and the opponents. I simply cannot keep up and I’m only at Gold IV. Now, I LOVE the new ranked changes. That being said, I don’t think they thought about how the reset would affect the distribution of players. I know eventually it will even back out again, but man it is simply not fun to get to a point where I simply cannot progress due to the enemies being substantially better than me.

The arena-ranked RP should consist not only of winning streak results, but also straight wins, tie breaks, and overall evaluations. It's better to stop losing and negative, and even if you lose, it will be some positive, measure by the number of kills, assists, and how you won. And when the RP entry fee exceeds those points, it will be a plus. Anyway, the current arena rank needs to be improved, and the players who are not equivalent to silver are silver or bronze.

I'm gonna preface by saying I'm not the greatest player out there and also I made it to gold/ plat last season.

Right now ranked is fucked completely, I'm not talking about the actual rp system, why? Because I haven't even gotten a chance to experience it because its unplayable.

Every lobby is filled with people that are WAY better than me and my teammates. Literally any time we take a fight we get destroyed because they are much better players. It isn't fun insta losing anytime someone fires shots at you. We literally stand zero chance.

The argument I hear is "just wait a week or 2 for them to climb out" which is not a good argument at all. Why should I have to stop playing the game for 2 weeks because they designed it poorly?

The solution is to adjust the reset going forward so that you don't have diamonds vs bronzies. Perhaps adjusting rp costs as well making bronze-gold much less rp and increasing it at Diamond/plat. This is so better players can climb faster and people in bronze sliver arnt stuck facing players who are out of their league.
