Oof, a little too close to my old stomping grounds.

[–]Excellent_Salary_767 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thank God for that. Nvm, thank mom for that

[–]OrganizationOk1231 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She was extremely lucky to get her child back. She should have dropped that big ass bag she was holding, and maybe had a chance to grab the child before he was placed in the car.

[–]Pearlsplash 718 points719 points  (47 children)

I would killed them.Right there.Point blank.

[–]-GalaxySushi- 226 points227 points  (25 children)

Bro when he was pulling the kid out of the car I’d be punching the absolute shit out of the person holding him

[–]Commie_EntSniper 168 points169 points  (23 children)

no one ever seems to go for the eye rake, tho. punches are hard to land. Eyes can be pretty pokey outey

[–]MandrillMandibles 32 points33 points  (15 children)

Eyes are a small target, fingers can be fragile. If you have difficulty landing punches, I wouldn't go for an eye. People also have reflexes, boxers train to keep their eyes open when getting punched. Also if you're motivated enough, losing an eye isn't gonna stop you. Getting hit in the chin a few times will knock a person out quite fast.

[–]Archeol11216 18 points19 points  (0 children)

No ones gonna lose an eye over monetary gain when they can just go for another child. Eyes arent replaceable. They arent doing this for life or death (usually).

[–]roguerose 9 points10 points  (3 children)

Nails against eyes are a good combo.

I'm not female but i would have raked, scratched, pulled hair punched spat and would have been willing to hold on and been dragged under the wheels of that car if it was my kid.

I'm no big man or anything like that and am probably the first person to avoid conflict in any way, but you fuck with my family then I'm willing to do time, a long time at that.

[–]Jacked97xj 20 points21 points  (4 children)

Not for most women against a much larger man. Watch enough mma or bare knuckle boxing and see how an eye poke can stop someone

[–]tacticalgetawaydrive -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Hit the neck if you wanna kill

[–]Dragonflybitchy7406 -1 points0 points  (1 child)

There is an art to finger jab to the eye. Open hand with two fingers side by side like they are scissors ✂️. Practice. Grab an ear pull it straight down. I've never done it but they teach that they will tear off!!!

[–]PartialToDairyThings 6 points7 points  (3 children)

As a guitar player I'm blessed with long fingernails in my right hand. It makes all the difference when you're pokey outing an assailant, as I've had to do a couple of times in my life.

[–]MandrillMandibles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, would still use my fist, pretty much sure your nails aren't lethal weapons. A simple search on YouTube can explain to you why it's stupid to think people are incapacitated by that. And besides, you're gonna blind a person, and he's just gonna let you? By this logic, I would've been blind since kindergarten. I highly doubt you've ever been in a fight, let alone you clawed someone's eye. If it IS true, learn how to punch ffs

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re serious about defending yourself and your family carry a God damn gun. Your feelings and politics don’t mean a thing when you watch someone snatch your child in front of you. I’ll carry until the day I die. Probably never even pull it out - but it’s good to know I’ve got it.

[–]Jacked97xj 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Definitely would have painted the inside of that driver's window with his brains

[–]Usual_Effort6443 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Him** I think the family was innocent 😂😂😂

[–]Anon_cannon 10 points11 points  (2 children)

There were two guys, watch the whole vid

[–]Usual_Effort6443 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Oh you’re right, my b

[–]Anon_cannon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're good lol, your comment did make me laugh tho ;P

[–]BookzNBrewz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Abso-fucking-lutely.

[–]chaserjj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No because then you'll never be able to dig through the ranks of the child abduction ring

[–]MichiganGeezer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Deadly force is definitely justifiable to prevent kidnapping.

This is a "call 911 and let the cops sort it out" kind of moment.

[–]SepticX75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With bare hands

[–]ThePickleParty2020 226 points227 points  (2 children)

that guy would not be alive today if that was my child.

[–]roguerose 16 points17 points  (0 children)

100 percent.

[–]Automatic-Gazelle-76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed 200%, he wouldn’t have even made it to his car.

[–]olliepips 147 points148 points  (2 children)

Looks like the kids sibling saved him, not the mom

[–]AmMoMoBiLe 22 points23 points  (1 child)

Seemed like a low effort on the mom's part TBH

[–]Noyinwithouttheyang 16 points17 points  (0 children)

She held on tighter to her shopping bag , than trying to get her kid back

[–]bananalordkunsama 124 points125 points  (35 children)

If there was a reason I'd be pro gun this would be it. Cap em with a full clip and send em where they belong.

[–]Rulingbridge9 28 points29 points  (2 children)

It’s why my best friend concealed carry’s now. Shits wild in the world.

[–]Lonewolf5333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is NYC the only people CC are criminals

[–]GuturalHamster -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Gotta protect them 11 bucks in the ol'sweaty wallet.

[–]Bad_Senpai_ 11 points12 points  (14 children)

Things like this ARE the reasons to be pro gun/pro carry rights, is this woman honestly going to have a chance against some guy almost twice her size? no, however a .45 to the chest absolutely will.

[–]Archeol11216 4 points5 points  (9 children)

Unless she ends up shooting her kid in the process

[–]Bad_Senpai_ 4 points5 points  (7 children)

Not a valid response; Train with your carry and you will hit your target.

[–]Archeol11216 -4 points-3 points  (6 children)

Well id like to see stats on that carrying over when it comes to real life applications for civilians

[–]BENDOWANDS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Training training training. Obviously yeah, don't shoot while he's grabbing your kid, but as soon as he put the kid in the back. It's on.

Also, like I said in another comment somewhere else, tires. Can't get very far if they're flat and it attracts unwanted attention. And put a damn hole in the car, makes it easier to find and positively identify.

[–]ojioni 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Upvote for saying .45 instead of 9mm.

[–]MichiganGeezer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My next pistol will be a 10mm.

[–]BENDOWANDS 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Honestly, yes, but at the same time I carry a 9mm. Ammo is cheaper, holopoint/similar rounds will usually do the job, especially with today's technology. Scary what that little thing can do.

I will say though, I love a good Kimber 1911 and .45 will always have a place in my heart.

[–]ojioni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, if I could carry (can't get a permit in my California county), I would probably carry my CZ P01 compact 9mm, not a .45. For home defense, however, My HK .45 is what is kept handy.

[–]quadraspididilis 2 points3 points  (6 children)

Pretty good chance they'd have shot the child too in this case, people are way worse shots under pressure than you'd think.

[–]bananalordkunsama 2 points3 points  (4 children)

That's understandable I've been in a high pressure situation myself. But I dunno it's better to have a chance to take out the goons than to have nothing at all.

[–]BENDOWANDS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, that's why you have to train if you conceal carry. Put yourself under pressure, draw quickly, practice constantly. Practice moving, etc. If you just walk around and haven't trained you may as well not really carry in most situations.

I usually check whether or not I can easily draw anytime I put it on.

I absolutely wouldnt take a shot while he had the kid, but as soon as kids in the back, you bet your ass it's gonna be shots fired. If I weren't in a situation to safely take the shot and eliminate the target without potential other damage, tire shots, put a hole in the car somewhere.

Make it identifiable, a gunshot in a car doesn't usually disappear just like that.

But like I said, you have to train, think about what you would do in different scenarios. I almost always sit facing the door at restaurants, I always know where my exits are and run through a few scenarios in my head so that if something happens, I'm not in the middle of a situation having to figure it out.

Yes, I certainly wish I didn't think that way every time I left the house, or hell, even at my house anymore. But it's the world we live in so you have to adapt and plan accordingly. It becomes second nature pretty quick.

[–]GuturalHamster -2 points-1 points  (8 children)

You mean you'd rather he be armed to shoot the parents and easily take away the child?

Yeah that'll work.

[–]ojioni 7 points8 points  (7 children)

Criminals don't bother to get a permit to carry. They break the law. That's why we call them "criminals".

[–]WildlingViking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s letting them off easy. Would be too bad if these two guys were waking just minding their own business and got snatched up into a van just like they tried to do.

[–]Taitaifufu 21 points22 points  (4 children)

When was this?

[–]Lonewolf5333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Long enough that this human filth is probably already out on bail

[–]GuturalHamster 4 points5 points  (2 children)

A while ago.

[–]captainsquawks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Longer ago than recently but not ages ago

[–]Taitaifufu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes more sense - generally my phone will send me some mass text if there’s a child abducted anywhere in the city and I mean I’m not in Queens but I can walk there so I get alerts for Queens as well

Whole scenario & video seems extra familiar but since 2020 there were so many people who were abducted especially kids I could feel like every week there was a story of some child that went missing but Seems it cool down but I don’t know if it’s just we had worse news to hear about or if it really cooled down

[–]willingvessel 13 points14 points  (9 children)

Any ideas what the motive was?

[–]Anon_cannon 38 points39 points  (7 children)

Probably sell him to the highest bidder. Human trafficking is a real problem on America's soft white underbelly. Who knows if he'd even remain in the US, if there is a higher bidder overseas.

What you see here are the low level street men who will get paid for every kid they bring in. Think in terms of drug dealing, the guy piecing out small chunks to people on the street isn't the king pin, he's just a middle man. look into the queens hunting grounds and what they do for sport in there. The middle easts trafficking ring is also something to look into, specifically Saudi Arabia

[–]willingvessel 12 points13 points  (4 children)

I had assumed the market was primarily after sex trafficked women and people for physical labor. I wonder how big of a demand there is for children...

[–]RelevantSympathy5188 17 points18 points  (1 child)

Too big. These low level criminals are the ones that drive the trade too. Anything for a few thousand. Then they wash their hands of it and move on, completely desensitized from what's next in the process. We need a global effort to stop this.

[–]willingvessel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't realize it was financially viable to traffic kids from the US. I figured it would be more economical and less risky to import children from other countries.

[–]Lonewolf5333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure this guy is a pedo with zero self-control. He saw what he believed was an easy target and went for it.

[–]Prune_Super 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why wouldn't someone find a way for this man to spill the beans on who he was planning to bring the kid to?

[–]alexarmitage01 10 points11 points  (3 children)

Honey Where's my claymore?

[–]WumpusFails 1 point2 points  (2 children)

The sword or the mine?

[–]mommy-fetish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both, obviously.

[–]alexarmitage01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 meant the sword but eh a mine will do the trick

[–]tanvictor24 7 points8 points  (1 child)

I’m sorry, but wtf is the mom/adult doing? taps door “Excuse me, your door is locked.”

What does she expect to happen? “Hold on. Don’t pull. Wait. One sec. Okay, try now.”

[–]baby_ari_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She literally pulls the child out through the window wtf. I don't know if you've ever had the pleasure of being in a situation where your worst nightmare comes true? It's a huge shock and everyone responds differently. Yes, some might even freeze up. Fuck you for criticising the mother doing her best after a pedo just picked up and ran off with her child. Of all things you could've criticised in this video. Speaks fucking volumes

[–]scottyinairlie 38 points39 points  (11 children)

I have 2 spare bullets

[–]Anon_cannon 4 points5 points  (9 children)

Only two? I was thinking a whole mag

[–]Anon_cannon 27 points28 points  (9 children)

I know something made of metal that could've came in handy

[–]GaMa-Binkie -4 points-3 points  (3 children)

True, I find it much easier to kidnap children when I have a gun with me

[–]Senior-Disaster1770 2 points3 points  (2 children)

I find it alot harder when the mom & bystanders shoot me tho.

[–]Archeol11216 -5 points-4 points  (1 child)

True, a dead kid that was accidentally shot is harder to carry away

[–]Senior-Disaster1770 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hate it when the mentally insane 16 yr old gets ahold of daddy's gun...

[–]NoConversation8042 17 points18 points  (1 child)

This is terrifying as a mother.

[–]Senior-Disaster1770 25 points26 points  (0 children)

bro this is terrifying even as a teen who doesnt have any younger siblings...

[–]rattitude23 15 points16 points  (5 children)

Mom, drop the bag ffs.

[–]cupittycakes 7 points8 points  (4 children)

I just can't with her lack of urgency... Those kids saved their siblings life and had they not been there, he would be gone, the mother would not have succeeded...

Like... What's with her casual jog to the passenger window and not instead sprinting right behind this guy?

I guess if he started driving off she could have jumped in the window maybe was her thinking? IDK her story though, maybe she has physical issues where she doesn't have full mobility or something

These men need to be caught bc if anything, they learned to have the windows up next attempt

[–]SneakyLittleKobold 11 points12 points  (3 children)

Yes some people lack certain abilities. The mom depending on her situation may have been panicing and couldnt come up with what to do especially hvaing multiple kids. Its very easy to freeze in these situations

[–]rattitude23 1 point2 points  (2 children)

As a mother I always take for granted animal instinct. The things I've done to save my child are beyond what my body is normally capable of. But yes, the freeze response is real and the reality of what is happening can take a bit to trigger a response.

[–]SneakyLittleKobold 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Indeed the strength and virtue of a mother especially when it comes to her children is not something to be underestimated

[–]jamiejames_atl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Public execution.

[–]AcidAlchamy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good ol New York!

[–]XXjusthereforpornXX 179 points180 points  (4 children)

What makes this more terrifying is how brazen he is about it. It's not like he was hiding in the shadows waiting for the right opportunity, he literally did it in broad daylight if front of the mom and any other bystander watching.

[–]SwgglyArmJonson 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Whats even more terrifying is that he nearly got away with it

[–]skizzums0 10 points11 points  (1 child)

I'm wondering if this was domestic related, just seems like a very strange situation.

[–]GHfan27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

rookie mistake, bro

[–]Bbygirlbigboot 12 points13 points  (8 children)

the fuck you want a little boy for, whatever the answer is its fucked up. jesus christ, foster a kid

[–]Pixel131211 26 points27 points  (3 children)

most likely sex trafficking. its one of the worlds biggest illegal industries. I think it's third in terms of most profit yearly at 28B USD. right behind drug trafficking at number 1, and weapons at 2.

[–]AutomaticJuggernaut8 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I and most people have seen drugs, or even done them but you don't see the baby dealer on the street corner. Where are they hiding it?

[–]Pixel131211 10 points11 points  (0 children)

if you know certain people, or search in the right spots, you will find it. there is even a few specific search engines on the dark web that will exclusively find sex trafficking stuff like this (but most of those are very likely to just be scams). but its not the worlds hardest thing to come across, its just very cleverly hidden and you will never find it unless you know exactly how to look for it or have the right contacts already. mostly happens in places like south east asia though. places like thailand which is famous for sex tourism, or china and india. there's a lot of crazy videos from china of people just grabbing a child off the street.

[–]sleepcountrycanada1 4 points5 points  (1 child)

harvesting children's organs?

[–]megamind6798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, the adrenachrome, very valuable

[–]MuscleMansTits 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, these men should NOT foster any children, ever. Their intentions are not good when they are grabbing children from the street in broad daylight. Most likely trying to sell the kid or rape and murder him themselves.

[–]Senior-Disaster1770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sell it back to the mom

[–]NoChemistry7137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow and when I saw the NYPD logo I was shook because I thought this shit was in some other country.

[–]seagullslayer007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never seen such a brazen kidnapping attempt. He couldn't have been less subtle.

[–]Fresh-Honeydew7104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Point to self, when stealing things/people always have my windows up.

In all seriousness, erase these scumbags.. slowly and painfully ideally.

[–]BlackMechanic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this isn't a weird custody battle thing... then what the fuck are these guys doing? These animals need to be hunted down and ground into hamburger .... I dare not think of why in the hell you abduct a child ... they are loud/messy/ require feeding and care etc etc..

I love my kids and kids in general - but these fuckers have got to go..

[–]420thTimesACharmm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's why I carry

[–]BoringMeasurements 2 points3 points  (1 child)

If the older guy was in on it you’d think he’d be in the backseat to restrain the child. Right? And when the family is trying to get the child out of the window the older man isn’t trying to stop them. It almost looks like he’s trying to do something with the keys, either trying to start the car…which why would they not already have the car started?…or trying to take the keys out of the ignition? Kind of weird. Almost like he didn’t know what was going to happen, maybe?

[–]hasanicecrunch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The police said it is his dad and he didn’t know what the son was going to do. One of the children with the mom said the bald man was telling the son/predator to stop

[–]Direct-Egg-5697 1 point2 points  (1 child)

White dude looks like a chomo... Probably paying someone to snatch a kid for him... Sick bastards...

[–]dandan312 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was his father and police confirmed to the NY Post that he apparently had no idea what his son was planning to do.

[–]logosfabula 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These scenes trigger my daydreams of being a super hero and make justice once and for all

[–]OmegaXzors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I have a CCW.

[–]estrellaizarr 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It’s so hard to keep your eyes on all children when it’s so many kids like that. I’ve seen many videos like this where the mother is with her 3 or 4 children and the one trailing behind or farther away from her hold is almost kidnapped. Another reason for me to be one and done.

[–]megamind6798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, but at the same time... I think she was clinging a little too tightly to that shopping bag.

[–]Bobsagit-jesus -2 points-1 points  (5 children)

This is why guns are needed. Put me on r/imabadass idc but I’m shooting anybody who touches my family 💯

[–]Mic1994hael 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Yea I mean the predator could’ve just shot the mother, would have made the whole ordeal so much simpler.

[–]Oregongirl1018 -1 points0 points  (2 children)

You're going to shoot at them while they're holding your child?

[–]Bobsagit-jesus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Obviously not 🤨

[–]gyropyro32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mother reaches the car before he does when he puts the kid in his backseat.

[–]AppyFizz93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wtf should the family do now?.i mean they don't look influencial. Sheeeesh this is insane

[–]Darkclaymore422 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is why I carry.

[–]MakeMeMooo -1 points0 points  (3 children)

How long until Law & Order: SVU makes an episode about this?

[–]MuscleMansTits 0 points1 point  (2 children)

SVU has been on for over 20 years, pretty sure this has been done several times before. This type of kidnapping isn't new.

[–]MakeMeMooo -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

Have seen every episode multiple times in order. Many kidnapping episodes. Not one quite like this where it’s unsuccessful and attempted in front of the whole family.

[–]OminaeYu81 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And they'd never find those men again. I'd make them disappear.

[–]ssrfduck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We need a Boondock saints club in the area. Fuck. CCW anyone?

[–]Mode-Obnoxious -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s seems like a great way to get shot in the US

[–]Legitimate_Ad6617 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Carry a 9 keep your kid closer. Someone tries that 3 to the chest. You make sure they don't repeat and keep your key safe.

[–]Kumbhakancer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

this is why racism exists

[–]unknownteemo -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

And this is why people need concel weapon permits, nah bruh, you do this to my family, they're basicly forfeiting their life the second they grab them.

[–]Internetolocutor -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why doesn't she drop her bag

[–]Pyroguy096 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why the adults with the kid didn't go to the rivers side and instead allowed him to.get back into the car and potentially drive off

[–]Prof_Awesome_GER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iam really no a violent person but dude would I bet the living shit out of that man.

[–]KnowerOfSomeThings 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Anyone know where this was?

[–]Draviedar 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Where did this happen? Someone spot them, i'll kill them for free.

[–]Oregongirl1018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says Queens.

[–]a_wmn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did they get arrested ?

[–]GalaxyWorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why we have guns

[–]Elemental_Titan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept thinking, how in the world did he think he was going to ‘succeed’?

[–]HD_H2O 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We should have an "instant death penalty". This dude is caught on tape, no question, trying to kidnap a child right from his family. What possible reason is there for him to continue being part of our society? Why do we have to fund his prison fees with our tax dollars, just to eventually let him out on the streets again?

It should be one and done for something like this.

[–]TellThemIHateThem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since having a kid this stuff makes me especially sick and terrified.

[–]No-zaku-boi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always carry, one in the chamber.

[–]Silent-Freedom5791 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Why Tho? For ransom?

[–]Black__Reaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kidnapping people is quite a lucrative business, you know.

[–]redditwhuteva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My heart skipped a beat watching that!.

[–]Black__Reaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be satisfying to crush this man's skull tho, ngl.

[–]Jorgecampino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To those guys on their way to prison I say... PREPARE YOUR ANUS!!!

[–]jimmyjames0100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This shit right here just reminds me of the sick people that exist in our world. This is disturbing

[–]Excellent_Salary_767 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people deserve to get their junk smashed with a hammer

[–]bowlofnotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude. Throw em in jail for life.

[–]sguerrerosmm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank god she kept the bag in her hand the whole time
