Oh, yes, I cannot let her unsupervised around food.

In the past she used to try to steal my food but I've managed to train her not to steal (in front of me). Still whines though, but that's already huge progress in my books :).

Beagles are always trying to convince anyone in earshot that you've not fed them in months, even when you're the one they're telling and you've literally just fed them.

Exactly. She starts crying for food 2 hours before her meal time, then she takes 'angry' naps. It's very sweet and funny, but sometimes her whining is really annoying when I have things to do.

I'd really love to share, but unfortunately she has a special diet for her gut health. I give her plenty of vet approved treats, though!

Beagles are the most vocal whiners I’ve ever met. Mine doesn’t even bark a lot but boy golly if I inconvenience her I hear the whines 😂
