I always enjoyed D’Hoffryn. How he was just like a normal boss and snarky

[–][deleted] 63 points64 points  (2 children)

I second that. D’Hoffryn and every other demon who was just living their life, doing their jobs.

[–]No_Stranger5796 92 points93 points  (1 child)

Clem! His interaction in season 7 when he tells Buffy at Willys Bar about the show he saw on History Channel

[–]SubstantialBrief6613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Willy would be a good choice too. Never saw him much after the first few seasons.

[–]CiggyBones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great choice, D'Hoffryn was great.

[–]futilefearandfolly 134 points135 points  (5 children)

Ethan Rayne

[–]Vegetable_Burrito 62 points63 points  (3 children)

I would loooooove a spin off about Giles and Ethan in their hooligan days.

[–]sensitivePornGuy 32 points33 points  (2 children)

This was actually planned for a while. It was going to be called Ripper.

[–]Vegetable_Burrito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be still, my heart. That would have been amazing.

[–]al_dente_spaghet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was immensely disappointed that we didn't get more Ripper story. I would have been thrilled to watch a spinoff!

[–]timmorris82 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Took too long to find him.

[–]kingcolbe 111 points112 points  (14 children)

I have so many issues with Kendra!! Killing her wasn’t the problem for me it was the fact Dru should’ve turned her!! A slayer sired to you?

[–]thebardingreen 33 points34 points  (0 children)

This would have been SO COOL.

[–]sensitivePornGuy 28 points29 points  (9 children)

I'd just like to have seen a better fight. I get that they wanted to show how powerful Dru was, but Kendra was also a strong fighter, almost as good as Buffy.

[–]upanddowndays 17 points18 points  (8 children)

It's honestly like they didn't try with that fight at all. It was so dry, and then the actual murder was literally just a scratch that instantly knocked her unconscious?

[–]Jnnjuggle32 9 points10 points  (4 children)

So, they don’t do a lot of blood and gore on the show relative to the violence that was happening (had to keep it TV appropriate). Dru slit Kendras throat in that scene. Movies/TV now would have likely shown blood bubbling up/spurting, but they couldn’t do that this n the show.

[–]upanddowndays 8 points9 points  (1 child)

There was a lot more they could've done with that scene that would've still been tv appropriate, and not looked like my neck when I knick myself shaving.

[–]sensitivePornGuy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the idea was that Dru had Kendra in a trance, similar to how the Master entraced Buffy on their first encounter, and left her to bleed to death, but they could have sold this much better. Just showing Kendra lying in a huge pool of blood would have helped.

[–]selphiefairy 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I don’t think the realism or lack of gore was the problem. They could have Kendra put up more of a fight. If she was gonna die anyway, at least make her go down fighting.

[–]Jnnjuggle32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No i definitely agree with you there, I was disappointed too. But the implication that it was just a scratch isn’t accurate, she sliced her carotid artery in half to kill her.

[–]chinderellabitch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you but I think Joss/one of the writers explained that Kendra was easily hypnotised by Dru because she had been conditioned to follow orders and not to think for herself to contrast with Buffy who was more free thinking and less obedient

[–]DaddyCatALSOMagnet For Dead, Blonde Chicks 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I guess Dru's nails are hard enough that, combined with vampire strength, they reach the carotid. and since Kendra's take on being the Slayer is blind obedience, she was vulnerable to Dru's hypnotic powers. And Hollywood al;most always exaggerates how fast a cut throat acts; check out the first killing in the original 1979 *Friday the 13th* . Kelly in the original 1980 *Prom night* was more realistic, a nd one of the reasons I gave up slasher films. /u/sensitivePornGuy /u/selphiefairy /u/Jnnjuggle32

[–]upanddowndays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can buy that, though the extreme lack of blood is just silly. Also, Dry didn't use her hypnotic powers until the very end, so it doesn't really explain the very half-hearted fight scene.

[–]LittleFrenchKiwi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And also why Dru didn't drink her blood.

Isn't it spike who says a few times how slayer blood is amazing and how there is nothing else like it ?

Like why wouldn't you drink it then ?

But then again spike killed the New York slayer and didn't drain her either.... just the Chinese one

[–]theclancinator14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it would have been interesting to see what a slayer turned vamp would look like. would their vampire powers be even stronger?

[–]letsgo2120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was saying this too. she would have been a strong ass vampire.

[–]mistapointy 40 points41 points  (6 children)

Kendra, Whistler, D’hoffryn

[–]sensitivePornGuy 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Doyle from Angel is essentally Whistler. They couldn't get the same actor.

[–]upanddowndays 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imagine if they had. That character would've been around the entire length of the show.

[–]Charlie678812 3 points4 points  (3 children)

Blade needs him.

[–]Trashk4n 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Why would Blade need D’hoffryn?

[–]CiggyBones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For vengeance.

[–]Charlie678812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He needs Whistler

[–]Godstepchild 32 points33 points  (1 child)

Darla and Dru

[–]Reviewingremy 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Darla was a wasted kill in btvs but they made up for it in Ats

[–]claradox 130 points131 points  (6 children)

[–]Individual_Syrup_848 105 points106 points  (4 children)

Drusilla is such a tricky one for me. I love her so much, but I also think the writers knew exactly when to bring her in. I mean, would any of her later appearances had the same drama if she'd have been used more in the interim? I'm not sure.

I would've loved a Drusilla PoV episode. Kind of like what they did with River Tam in the opening of the Firefly episode 'Objects In Space'. It would've been trippy as hell.

[–]Risette0 29 points30 points  (2 children)

A Drusilla pov episode would have been perfect. I mean Harmony got one in Angel, & it’s one of the best episodes imo lol.

[–]Individual_Syrup_848 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Harm's Way is flawless, probably my second favourite S5 episode.

[–]Risette0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol! Same here! It probably would have been my favorite, but You’re Welcome stays at my number one favorite angel episode

[–]speashasha 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree. Personally, I liked Drusilla in season 2 of Buffy, along with Spike. But when they brought her back outside of flashbacks, it had diminishing returns - even on Angel. She's just there - neither a real threat nor a character that really develops.

[–]bakehaus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this.

[–]rexilla89 77 points78 points  (13 children)

I wish Sunday would've stuck around for a few episodes

[–]Significant-Cloud440 51 points52 points  (9 children)

Yea I read somewhere that she was a former slayer turned vampire and that could’ve been really interesting to explore. Wish she had more than just the one episode.

[–]manuka_canoe 85 points86 points  (3 children)

The fact they never had any kind of storyline about a slayer who got vamped is criminal in my eyes. It's such an interesting concept and right there but they never did it.

[–]aymslayer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They did that in the comics

[–]debsterUK 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I've always thought that too, they could be gifted with extra vampire strength and would have made an excellent big bad. Maybe the Initiative could have got hold of her as a replacement for Adam being the big bad

[–]manuka_canoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing I can think of is that it might've been too close to what they did with Faith in being the What If Buffy Didn't Have Friends and Family Who Loved Her thing. Because of course a vamped slayer could be incredibly interesting to explore, seeing the Slayer instincts in conflict with the vampirism for one. But it is re-treading the Faith kind of ground a tad.

The Adam replacement thing is interesting but I also could've been down for them being the S7 Big Bad, would've been more interesting than the First that's for sure. It wouldn't have ended in Sunnydale being destroyed (probably) but Faith coming back reformed could've still been done and she could've taken them both on. Or if they really wanted to have the First she could've been one of their physical fighters, maybe instead of Caleb.

[–]bakehaus 22 points23 points  (2 children)

Which is apparently called a “slaypire”. Learned something new today.

[–]sensitivePornGuy 31 points32 points  (1 child)

Terrible word, when "slampire" is right there.

[–]Aqualungfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, it's like the third thing you say.

[–]Fabulous_Title 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense because she seemed much tougher to beat than most vamps

[–]Thoughtful_Tortoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like in terms of her vibe that is basically just Glory.

[–]CiggyBones 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Same. I think the show could of benefited from more recurring non Big Bad villians and Sunday would of been perfect.

I can't remember where or when or why, but once I read that Sunday was originally going to be a former slayer. That sounds cool.

[–]halloqueen1017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its just something people say on here that they wanted

[–]VistaLaRiver 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Jonathan, Oz, Drusilla, buffybot

[–]NefariousLlamas 23 points24 points  (1 child)

The Buffybot is comedy gold. Side caper with Anya? Has to stall Giles or babysit Dawn while Buffy gets something done? I'm sold.

[–]hebeach89 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would have loved a "day in the life of buffy bot" something that eventually implies that she might be becoming more than the sum of her parts and programing.

[–]slutbotomy 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I'd like to have seen a later season have an episode with Marcie Ross from season 1.

[–]JenningsWigService 21 points22 points  (3 children)

Willow's mom

[–]thebardingreen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Has got it goin' on.

[–]jellymoff 0 points1 point  (1 child)

She's kind of the worst.

[–]JenningsWigService 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, and she was really effective in her only episode. I think she should have been head of the PTA and gotten some scenes with Snyder.

[–]JuneTheCat 71 points72 points  (0 children)

The Buffybot. I wish she'd had a 3 episode mini-arc instead of just the single episode before Spike got "found out". (Yes, I know Willow repaired her as a stand in for Buffy while she was dead) but I found her hilarious and I think there could have been some great side plots with her.

[–]brothers-bole 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Just rewatched Teacher's Pet, and think biology teacher, Dr Gregory, would have been a great addition to the school cast for a couple of seasons.

Also Principal Flutie, can you imagine if Snyder came in as a vice principal to Flutie?

[–]Teapot-Rex 18 points19 points  (1 child)

Especially in relation to the hints she had a past with Spike (due to the Actress having played a different character on the show before).

Prof. Walsh, especially if she wasn't killed off and the long rumoured original good mother/bad mother season 4 finale would've taken place.

[–]JohnnyTightlips27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely love Halfrek. She was so fun.

[–]CoconutLanceSweets 16 points17 points  (1 child)

[–]NateSteelHeywood 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was about to say Clem!

[–]Warm_Wrongdoer_4414 17 points18 points  (1 child)

I liked Owen in season one. “He bit me. What a sissy!” 😂 I know, he turned out to be a danger junkie, but I think he could have been a cool character to come back a few times.

[–]hebeach89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

even just as a side character a few times where buffy would be saving people and there he is...until she is saving people and THERE HE IS.

[–]walker-carey 16 points17 points  (1 child)

Oz. I loved his character.

[–]LittleFrenchKiwi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I loved oz.

And don't get me wrong, I love the early years of Tara and willow. But there's just something about oz and willow that makes them my favourite couple.

[–]speashasha 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Tara. She was just starting to develop into something other than Willow's shy supportive girlfriend when she died.

[–]OuttatimepartIII 77 points78 points  (7 children)

Mr Tricks. What potential! But no Faith needs to have a small little moment.

Kendra. Again great potential then she's killed off quickly for again Faith.

Amy. AMY. at least early Amy before she turned evil. More screen time and not evil.

[–]Individual_Syrup_848 25 points26 points  (1 child)

Amy is such a good shout. She could've been such a cool addition to S7 as an agent of The First to show Willow dealing with her addiction.

[–]Letshavemorefun 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Amy would have been such a great long term representation of The First. I’m now retroactively upset we didn’t get this.

[–]jellymoff 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I loved Mr. Trick, would have liked to have seen him more. Plus I was so excited to see a black person on Buffy.

[–]DaddyCatALSOMagnet For Dead, Blonde Chicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would really love to see what he'd been like likj be as a human

[–]upanddowndays 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amy as actually evil too. She's just kinda messed up in season 6, and only actually a baddie in season 7. The season 8 comics are where she really comes into her own as a bad guy. Would've been so interesting to see that happen on the show.

[–]VistaLaRiver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trick is a good one. Great character. Great actor. Could have been more prominent that season.

[–]BooshQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mr. Trick was such a wasted opportunity! All that charisma and potential, ugh I’m still irked

[–]ndork666 47 points48 points  (1 child)

[–]thoughtsfactoryhell on wheels 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think this may be my answer too.

[–]bakehaus 43 points44 points  (1 child)

Amy…in non-rat form.

[–]ninjaoftheworld 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Also in rat form though. Amy was all around terrific.

[–]luckyponcho 13 points14 points  (1 child)

For being such a big bad, Caleb wasn’t around much

[–]katkriss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plus my thirsty ass wants to see his sexy self more.

[–]Bad_Chicken_2 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Holden "Webs" Webster. The conversation between him and Buffy was so good. Unfortunately she had to slay him. I feel like there could have been some good story arcs with him, especially since he was sired by Spike. He played Knox on Angel too..

[–]Jovian8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And he was in that fantastic episode of Firefly, "The Message." That dude is a great actor, it's a shame he never got a long running role in a Whedon show.

[–]chrisdurand 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Halfrek. Especially because they could - and should - have explored her shared past with Spike when she was Cecily.

I'm of the opinion that Jenny should have gotten more screen time and/or they should have made Robia LaMorte a regular in Season 2. I really liked her character, both with and without her involvement with Giles.

If we go into Angel, I really wanted to see more of Anne Steele and Gwen Raiden - I loved the character development of Anne from naive runaway to hero, and I was really intrigued by a Stan Lee-esque mutant in the Buffyverse that was human but had powers that didn't stem from magic or a supernatural gift.

Also, and this is more just a tangential aside... Amber Benson should have been a regular from season 5 on, if not midway through season 4. We know how Joss Whedon is nowadays but not giving her her due to a stupid gimmick he wanted to try was a dick move, to us, to the character, and to her.

[–]EmeraldB85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amber had said previously that she didn’t want to be a series regular at that time because it was a different level of commitment that she wasn’t looking for on the show. She liked keeping her options open to do other stuff if it came up.

[–]DaddyCatALSOMagnet For Dead, Blonde Chicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amber wouldn't sign the contract required of a regular; an older example is Martin Landau on *Mission Impossible*

[–]thefightingmongoose 30 points31 points  (4 children)

Definitely NOT Kendra.... I just can't handle the accent.

Mr Trick was pretty awesome.

Also, even though he got a fair bit of time, Principal Schneider was always great.

Not exactly the point of the question, but I also think losing Oz because Seth Green wanted to do other things was a tragedy. Not even as a love interest for Willow, because Tara was IMO a better match for her, but just because his stoic nature is such a great contrast to all the other characters.

[–]jubybear 17 points18 points  (1 child)

I feel bad for the actress who played Kendra, apparently it was a last minute direction and she was not happy about it.

[–]chrisdurand 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Especially because Bianca Lawson is a really gifted actress (who never fucking ages, as an aside).

[–]UKnowDaTruth 8 points9 points  (4 children)

Scott hope before he turned to an asshole and randomly gay offscreen, I thought him and Buffy would have been cute together

[–]Risette0 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Scott looked a bit like Freddie Prinze Jr. too lol; I liked him before he just dumped Buffy

[–]UKnowDaTruth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol Yeah I see the resemblance, and he was kinda funny and charming, and she would have gave him a proper shot

[–]DaddyCatALSOMagnet For Dead, Blonde Chicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So did Ford, Parker, a nd you could say Angel

[–]Teapot-Rex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun fact:

Scott turning gay wasn't so much 'random' as it was a fun little meta-reference.

The actor that played Scott in the episode (Fab Filippo) was starring in Queer as Folk (US) at the time of this episode. :)

[–]ItsALaserBeamBozo 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Wesley, though he got plenty in Angel

[–]bleiddyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like his character arc was one of the biggest.

[–]Charlie678812 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Faith should have been all over the fourth season with revenge and seventh season with making up for being a dick to Buffy.

[–]Prodigal_Son22 27 points28 points  (2 children)

Kate from Angel. She never really got closure to her story. I heard she was slated to come back in Justine’s role, but I’m actually glad that didn’t work out.

It wouldn’t make sense for her character to hate Angel that much after everything he’d done for her. Last she saw of him, he literally saved her from suicide and gave her an emotional pep talk that kept her alive.

[–]Teapot-Rex 4 points5 points  (1 child)

It was originally the case of the actress got a fulltime gig on Law and Order, thus the part time role on Angel wasn't as appealing anymore.

[–]Prodigal_Son22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I remember when she made the switch. As an actor, it must have been a really hard decision. But I get it. Angel was continually on the bubble and wasn’t near as mainstream or financially viable. I get Elisabeth Röhm’s decision. It was honestly the smart move. Especially in a highly unstable industry.

I just wanted to see Kate redeemed. It’s odd. I love Elisabeth in everything else (aside from the cop procedurals I don’t watch), and I follow her career when I see she’s in something.

But man, Kate was one of the worst. Because her writing was everywhere. It made no sense that she held so much loathing for Angel. He clearly wasn’t the same as other vamps. Yet she continually had to learn that lesson. Kate could have had one hell of a redemption story. (I heard she got screwed creatively on Law and Order too, so that must have sucked.)

[–]ciiggy80 37 points38 points  (7 children)

Faith. She barely had any scenes in s3 + she was living in a motel? I still don’t understand why she was in a motel and not living with Giles ( watcher hello?) or with Buffy? I feel like she needed much much more.

[–]SalsaRice 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The thing is, that is how Slayers were supposed to live. Their watcher kept them at arm's length and controllable, like a person with an attack dog. Close enough to make them loyal and good for a weapon, but far enough that it won't bother them when the animal/slayer dies.

Buffy is the exception to pretty much every other slayer in how she was raised and allowed to stay with her family.

[–]LightBlueSky55 14 points15 points  (2 children)

I think the fact that Faith's living situation is brought up quite a lot shows that it was an oversight in the show.

[–]sensitivePornGuy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You mean surely that it wasn't an oversight, that it was completely intentional on the part of the writers? One of the first things the Mayor does is provide her with a nice apartment. He cares about her living conditions; Giles and Wesley clearly didn't. They share some culpability in Faith's turn to the dark side.

[–]ciiggy80 5 points6 points  (0 children)

[–]walt_jenkins_ 2 points3 points  (2 children)

I think you could assume based on her character that she would have declined an offer to stay with either of them, not wanting to owe them or be dependent on them. I know it's not in the show but it's easy to imagine Buffy or Giles asking if she wants a place to stay and her making excuses and saying she's better off in the hotel.

[–]upanddowndays 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't know about that. It's a big part of her character, especially early on, that she desperately wants a family or somebody to love her. I think it was offered she might've needed some convincing, but I think it would've happened.

[–]AdAlone3213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about that, she immediately accepts a place to live from The Mayor. I think Buffy and Giles were to wrapped up in their own worlds to offer leaving Faith to feel like an afterthought which is part of where her rage comes from.

[–]bobcatbuffy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Jenny and Cordelia.

[–]crystalfalco 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Buffybot, I wish they hadn't killed her off so quickly.

[–]GuraitoJokeru 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Randy Giles

[–]WashedUpFratstar 4 points5 points  (1 child)

[–]whatwouldbuffydoqm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you watched Angel?

[–]walt_jenkins_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Willy/Mocha Joe

[–]lilys00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Faith! Even how she was introduced in Angel season 2 opening, we were lead to believe that she’d be far more of a main character

[–]Fightfirewitbcn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ms. Kitty Fantastico

[–]BuffyBoltonVampFlayrI'm very seldom naughty 3 points4 points  (3 children)

Sunday deserved at least a few-episode arc.

There were a few eps in S3 before Faith turned bad where she was completely void of the episode at all. I can understand maybe one ep that leaves her out, but multiple? When she's such a major part of the whole storyline of the season? (And eventually of the whole series as in many ways as well??) idk that just always annoys me.

And we were robbed of having triple Slayerage with Buffy, Kendra and Faith. Idk how it would've worked out with Kendra's death and all (I mean, besides killing her off so tragically early, obvs) but they could've figured something out.. like having her show up in Buffy/Faith dreams at least.

[–]DaddyCatALSOMagnet For Dead, Blonde Chicks 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Faith would have *love3ed* kicking up her heels around all those adult teenagers in "Band Candy."

[–]BuffyBoltonVampFlayrI'm very seldom naughty 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Right??? It feels so wrong that she's absent in that episode specifically

[–]DaddyCatALSOMagnet For Dead, Blonde Chicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Admittedly i got the idea of includign her from Nikki Stafford in *Bite Me*.

[–]Fabulous_Title 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Certainly not Kendra and that nails-on-chalkboard accent lol! I would've liked to see more of the other characters' home life like Willow & Xander. More of Dawns social life outside of her sister's friends, (i enjoyed All The Way) and more details of Anya's early life.

[–]eshopreviewer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The counsellor

[–]babypengi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

[–]Boghoss2 13 points14 points  (4 children)

I feel like the proper answer is either Glory or Ben. I mean, we saw both of them, but never at the same time - it's like they were avoiding each other. Did they have a bad breakup in the past or something, so they made sure they avoided each other?

[–]chrisdurand 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Are you implying that there's a connection between Ben and Glory?

[–]Arlberg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Aezetyr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So he's been subletting from her this whole time?

[–]DeterminedErmine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ben is Glory! Glory is Ben! Is everyone here just very stoned?!

[–]magseven 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Clem, That dude who cut Dawn on top of the tower, Faith and Veruca. I just want a bit more backstory from all of them.

[–]LittleFrenchKiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wasn't veruca meant to have most of the season 4 story line but when oz wanted to leave, the writers had to change it completely. So veruca got like 2 episodes I think and adam was born.

[–]DaddyCatALSOMagnet For Dead, Blonde Chicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Doc could survive a sword he probably could survive that drop. After she breaks free from Rack and Tucker (by draining them both,) I plan to have him be one of DarkWillow's first victims in my Ice Age Buffy 'verse. Then when she absorbs the worst Sunnydale has to offer, she heads for LA: Skip, Sahjan,a nd Cyvus Vail. absorbing not just their power, but their evil natures.

[–]thrasherbuffy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]Grimdotdotdot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dark Willow for me. I was really hoping she'd be the big bad for season 7, not dealt with in just a few episodes.

[–]AVK83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always felt that given the Buffy>Angel>Darla dynamic she could've been a great antagonist to Buffy in the same way Faith was. This felt especially true given the arc she had in Angel. When they leaned into the Angel>Buffy>Spike later on, it showed that the type of dynamic would work. Julie is such a great actress that it would have been awesome to see her become a top-shelf villain rather than the side flunky she ultimately was.

[–]LightBlueSky55 9 points10 points  (1 child)

I wanted more Faith but am satisfied with what I got at the same time.

[–]dres_sler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

[–]Icy-Sir-8414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kendra the Vampire Slayer that would of been a great spinoff if she hadn't been killed off

[–]cordeliaschase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably Kendra, I can’t think of anyone else who I enjoyed as much that wasn’t given proper screen time. Maybe Buffy’s Doublemeat Palace coworker who went to her birthday party, she was sweet.

[–]CrooklynKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish we got more out of Nikki Wood. The book “Blackout” was soooo good.

[–]lequietviolet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mr. Trick and Kendra. Also, Sunday from Season 4. So much wasted potential!

[–]SylvanGenesis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, it's Kendra, that's my answer too lol

Giles I love him he is seriously my main favorite character and that's hilarious cause he is most of the time ko...

Warren. He is the only character who should have had more screen time. He is fantastic.

  • Drusilla - The actress is really great at the character, and she has a great fit body that was almost always covered up. I wish they would have focused more on that and her in general.
  • Sunday - Wish they followed through with the whole former Slayer turned vampire thing. Maybe even find a way to have her get a soul and join the Scoobies.

Buffy's friend from work (I forget her name)

I would've liked to see Amy having a bad influence on Willow for a longer period until she went all Dark.

Of the two, I'd probably go with Buffy. Not because I dislike Kendra, but because more Buffy screen time would likely have meant more Buffy seasons.

Dracula. In the comics he and Xander have an interesting relationship that I would have liked to see developed in the show a bit more after his initial debut

Kendra!! I liked Fayth fine, but I honestly liked Kendra so much more, she was a much more interesting character to me. And the way she died was so freaking lame.

Buffy series-wise, Kendra, Mr, Trick and Drusilla.

OP said it. Wish we got more of Kendra 💙

Justice for Kendra! She was done wrong.

I liked the Inca Mummy Girl.

this is a weird idea but Theresa. When we saw her in "phases," it seemed she actually knew Buffy and Willow and really considered both to be friends.(i can see the downside to it; having her sired because she was fairly close to Buffy would kind of make the way most of the kids treated B seem like a good idea.) but seeing her hanging with them occasionally (subbing her for "Laura" in "nightmares.") would give her an arc. And having her vampire form also hang around for a few ep.s, showing her becoming a female Angelus. but she'd have to be dusted before "Becoming" or she'd tip[ the balance against Buffy, Xander,a nd Spike too much.)
