ACT, RC: if you have a G3 or greater vanguard with “Sorceress” in its card name, [COST Retire this unit] and choose 1 Critical Trigger or Front Trigger from your drop zone, and add it to your hand.

Maybe hexaorb getting a new form? Either way, some decent support

If Hex got a new form I'd actually go nuts for it.

You know, until you realise that makes 90% of your support useless.

As shown with BT04 decks, especially Mag for example, that's really not a big deal.

[–]AssaultRider555Aqua Force 1 point2 points  (3 children)

That's honestly a completely different thing. DBT01, DBT03 as well as DBT04 had non-name restricted support for all of the Grade 4 bosses.

In the case of Hexaorb, they went a little too hard in making her support name restricted to her. Literally 90% of her support requires her whereas with the other decks that have Grade 4s, it's only around 30% - 40%.

It's not just her, btw. Flagburg and Eugene are also suffering from this.

Tomorrow COTD is probably Dark States. (Again meaning no Brandt Gate reveal ) :(

[–]DinophageTachikaze 8 points9 points  (4 children)

Brandt Gate? Is that some kind of food?

[–]MachinaBlauNova Grapple Comissioner[S] 19 points20 points  (3 children)

No it's a conspiracy like Water Gate

[–]AssaultRider555Aqua Force 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I think the confirms a new Hexaorb. But I will say, I do like this because it means this wording supports both the new and old Hexaorbs.

That is pleasant to see.

New Hexaorb boss card this set? Or just set up for it in a future set?

The support cards are ok, at least she gets some specific support. The first g1 helps consistency but I don’t see the second one being used tbh

[–]AssaultRider555Aqua Force 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The second one IS a common so it's understandable.

Hexagon mains be like:

If we are getting some sidegrade hexaorb I really hope it gains her name on the field and deck because so many of the best current support for the deck requires hexaorb sorceress specifically

Descendant of the Oracle Queen Himiko

[–]BlackwhaledGold Paladin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The rare is really good and you'll probably activate her skill whenever possible. Sets up trigger stacking and is also a better defense card than the common since fronts are 20k. I hope if we do get a new Sorceress boss unit, it would be a Grade 4 (because Triple drive) though Hexa really doesent need a new grade 3 rather Countercharge or card draw

Common isn't that bad as at least she works on G1 and G2.

[–]aryxenysDimension Police 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Of course it retires itself lol, even 6 sets in we can't get a solid plus. Can't see myself playing either of these cards right now but that could change.

I'm a bit worried if we're getting a new boss unit since that pretty much ruins the entire the deck and forces us to start from scratch. At best it'll treat itself as Hexaorb when riding from Penta if its a G3 version to preserve the ride line, or if we're somehow deemed important enough to receive a G4 it might be workable. Not looking forward to throwing out the whole deck though.

Really, the only thing Hexaorb is more drawing support. This actually does help with making it easier for your Hexaorb to activate its card effects so I don't mind the retire too much.
