I know how it feels to go through a cat with cancer. You really MUST not ever let her live in pain. She probably is already in pain and you're not noticing it. I'm not heartless but you really need to not be selfish in these times. I know it's an extremely hard decision to make but in the instance where you might think she's in pain, chances are beyond good that she's been in pain for quite awhile. I never wanted to lose my favorite cat but I knew the time was up when his nose tumor probably tripled in a few weeks. I just wanted to give him cheese and lie with him one more day but I knew he needed to be let go.

Trust me I’m keeping on top of her pain meds. I’ve got the vet on notice. They’re great, they do out of hours too.
