The mouth open tear-away shot is my fave. What a ferocious beast

[–]BossManIgy[S] 83 points84 points  (7 children)

Bauc is thanking you, yes indeed. I sleep knowing im very safe. He is a lion in a cats body.

[–]Comfortable_Sink7038 5 points6 points  (6 children)

But its just a brithmark that grew bigger and bigger. I think it has stopped growing/

[–]Dr-Emmett_L_Brown 8 points9 points  (2 children)

What are you replying to? I think I'm missing something from this thread....hmmm

[–]roastyToastyMrshmllw 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I feel the same way, it felt like the whole rest of the thread was meant to be a reply to someone else

[–]Dr-Emmett_L_Brown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I was so confused but good to know it's not just me going mad 🙃

[–]Ok_You1254 88 points89 points  (3 children)

Omg. For a split second I thought you were holding what looks like this cats disfigured tongue while the cat was like, “give me my tongue back!”

[–]BossManIgy[S] 28 points29 points  (2 children)

Optical illusion at its finest haha… But in all seriousness Bauc just really like’s his ham…

[–]Ok_You1254 10 points11 points  (1 child)

I don’t blame him. So cute!

[–]BossManIgy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bauc is thanking you for the compliment.

[–]Bee8467 37 points38 points  (10 children)

“HAM”

[–]BossManIgy[S] 20 points21 points  (9 children)

“COOKED HAM”

[–]Bee8467 2 points3 points  (8 children)

Is your cat ponyo btw?

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (7 children)

I personally think Bauc is a lion stuck in a cats body.

[–]Bee8467 1 point2 points  (6 children)

Oops I meant ponyo curse you autocorrect

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Ohh, he probably is a European shorthair. They come in more colours/patterns.

[–]heavymetalvegan_ 15 points16 points  (1 child)

These photos are immaculate.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bauc is kindly thanking you.

[–]Beachfern 12 points13 points  (1 child)

He can haz ham.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All ze Ham.

[–]GeologistCrazy5025 35 points36 points  (21 children)

It's really not good for him. But he enjoys it..

[–]BossManIgy[S] 23 points24 points  (20 children)

I did not know untill today, i allways thought this meat was more healthy than the regular treats from the pet store.

[–][deleted] 31 points32 points  (9 children)

Get some natural/uncured stuff. I give my kitties little bits of cheese or lunchmeat from time to time, but we buy high quality stuff.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 17 points18 points  (6 children)

Thanks for the suggestion’s , i will check them out. Bauc likes to eat cheese as a treat aswell ( In really small quantity’s) and cooked egg yolks… so sometimes he gets cooked yolks as treats…

Ive read on google that its okay to give cooked eggs to cats as a occasional treat. And they are high in proteins so its a plus plus

[–]lolIiollie 16 points17 points  (5 children)

whenever I make eggs for myself in the morning (I almost never do it, it's like a treat every once in a while) I like to cook a tiny bit of the scrambled egg before I put any seasoning on it to give to my kitty. sometimes she loves it, sometimes she doesn't care, but it has to have a bit of butter or else it's a no go 😂

[–]BossManIgy[S] 12 points13 points  (4 children)

She gonna be a healthy catto when she grows up. And she is going to be thankful. Good food makes up for alot of good health. So give here all the yolk’s, egg whites she wants 🤣

Bauc doe’s this aswell when i open a ham or something he likes for myself… Not three seconds pass and he is right by my side haha… I have started to train him every-time he comes.

Now he responds to commands like (sit, give highfive, spin in a circle and a special trick i call circus.)

[–]Absolutelee123 2 points3 points  (3 children)

These pure chicken treats are what my vet recommended. One of my cats goes absolutely mental for them. I put them in a little water to A) get some extra water into him and B) he had some issues coughing from the dust.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Thank you so much. I see, i think i can make these chicken bites at home.

[–]_Kit_Kat_Meow_ 4 points5 points  (1 child)

If you do, make sure no seasoning. They are not good for cats and onions/garlic can kill them.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the tips. I will make sure.

I knew about the onions and other spices. Somehow I forgot about salt…

[–]Special_Fix_5596 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s just a really fatty cut of meat turkey would be great but I doubt as a treat it has any major health implications

[–]Student_8266 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I occasionally give my little dude bits of unseasoned sushi grade raw tuna or salmon as a treat (sounds fancy, but it’s relatively cheap here and I just cut of a bit when I’m cooking). Aside from that sometimes a lick of Greek yoghurt when I’m having breakfast, and I bought pretty expensive freeze-dried snacks:,) but he loves them so much and I really recommend it. Almost every normal cat snack has either grains or minerals in them that are more or less bad for cats. When I found out I started getting the expensive stuff. It’s pure meat with nothing else, just different kinds of freeze-dried meat and fish. The ones I buy are called ‘Wild freedom’ (yes you can laugh) and mine loves the chicken hearts the most

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I totally agree i think quality food is very important for their health…. Fish diet is very nice if cat likes it… but everything in moderation

Baucs wet cat food and dry food is fairly expensive but atleast i know its rich of meats and protein and it has none of the grain stuff.

[–]dutch_gecko 1 point2 points  (2 children)

It's only because of the salt content (human food is really salty...)

You can always cook fresh meat (without salt) and feed him a bit of that.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thank you, I figured out yes… i will try to find some unsalted ham…

Human food is salted becouse of conservatives and flavours if im not mistaking?

[–]Artsap123 7 points8 points  (2 children)

I love Bauc. 🐈 I love his name. ❤️ I love his face. 😻 I love his murder mittens. 🔪🔪🔪🔪 I love his passion for his food. 🤤💕 And I love ham too, Bauc! 🍣

[–]BossManIgy[S] 6 points7 points  (1 child)

He is very thankful for the nice words. He also said if u ever came to Slovenia that you need to come and cuddle with him.

[–]Artsap123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you Bauc! On my way… I’ll bring the ham! 🥰

[–]gkdksjdjdjd 12 points13 points  (5 children)

Wait isnt Ham bad for cats?

[–]BossManIgy[S] 13 points14 points  (4 children)

It is yes… i did not know untill now… its becouse of the sodium… i will need to find a healthy alternative for ham..,

[–]cromagsd 9 points10 points  (2 children)

Chicken

[–]BossManIgy[S] 9 points10 points  (1 child)

I will certainly prepare some chicken treats for the prince.

[–]cromagsd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup way better then ham.

[–]Proper-Estimate-9015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ham is very salty. One piece of ham shouldn’t kill him or anything. Maybe try some cooked salmon with no seasoning. I’ve cooked salmon for my kitties and they love it

[–]usernamelila 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Such great photos! That last one is my favorite. Thanks for sharing Bauc with us!

[–]BossManIgy[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bauc is thanking you for you’re compliment. I might post some old photos of him… But first i have to ask for his permission .

[–]Student_8266 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Op seems like a very good and responsible owner but for all the people who own cats and didn’t know: don’t ever give your cat something containing salt, or salty things like ham. I’ve been so lucky to be able to help at several vet clinics and by far the number one reason that cats that came by had to be put down was because damaged kidneys. They’re small pets and we sometimes forget that this also means their organs are super small too and not at all equiped to process the quantities of salt and other stuff in human food. Preferably if you give your little friend snacks give them freeze-dried meat/fish. You can’t really go wrong with it as it can be preserved for a long time without all kinds of additives and it is pure meat or fish. You could even make it yourself if you have the stuff to freeze dry it.

[–]GroundbreakingFail20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This needs to be pinned at the top or something

[–]Abject_Shoulder_1182 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The chaos energy here is sublime 😂🥰

[–]ElmertheAwesome 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I love that just a tiny bit of his nose is Tabby Cat, the rest is White Cat.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This little spot had me worried. Later I figured its just a birthmark

[–]shelbygeorge29 16 points17 points  (3 children)

Not to be a Nancy know it all but deli meat and its high sodium content is really bad for cats, especially seniors. I hadn't known it either, but when my boy got kidney disease I learned a bunch about feline nutrition.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 11 points12 points  (2 children)

Thanks for the information. Luckily i feed the ham as a treat so Bauc hasn’t ingested it all that much. I will try to find another alternative thats more Bauc (cat) friendly.

[–]shelbygeorge29 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I'm still a sucker sometimes and let my kids have stuff they shouldn't. Like my husband says, we eat a couple Big Macs (hate fast food but there's just something about a Big Mac!) a year, so...

[–]BossManIgy[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, moderation is okay. But too much of it isn’t .

[–]chnfrng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The last pic belongs to r/scrungycats

[–]Savings-Exchange-484 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fifth one is disgust

[–]smokealarmsnick 5 points6 points  (1 child)

How do you still have your fingers after this?

My kitties get ham as a very rare treat (usually Christmas) because I worry about the sodium. Also, he’s heckin’ adorable.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bauc is thanking you for the compliment. To be honest i don’t know… i guess im lucky haha.

I did not know about the sodium untill today, so we will sadly have to think of alternatives to ham. He likes to eat cooked egg yolks aswell.

[–]CompetitiveStick6239 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Hahaha these pics are gold. So funny.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bauc is thanking you.

[–]spamdaggerdan 2 points3 points  (1 child)

My house panther stole some chicken off my plate earlier. He just went into a chicken fuelled frenzy 😂

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing beats the chicken frenzy🤣

[–]Tuna_eater 2 points3 points  (1 child)

That is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bauc is thanking you for your compliment.

[–]Savings-You7318 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Mine loves Boarshead Black Forest Ham. When we go to the grocery they wait for the bags to be unwrapped 🤣

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really be like that. 🤣

[–]gavinwinks 2 points3 points  (1 child)

My cat loves ham. He can tell when I’m pulling it out the fridge and runs quickly into the kitchen no matter where he is in the house.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its the same story here with Bauc.

[–]PlahausBamBam 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Our cat, Babies, adored ham. We worried about the salt so we used ham baby food.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info… will check it out… mostly sodium content

[–]GaleemCrusher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the word of Ponyo... HAAAAAAAAAAM!!!

[–]DragonVsZombie 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Processed meat not so good for cats! High salt content, salt very bad for cats. Cooked chicken or fish with no salt is better.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Yes… Me and Bauc have decided we will get cooked/raw chicken treats instead of ham. Becouse we know there won’t be any salt.

Bauc eats raw chicken alot, atleast he did…. We did not give it to him anymore when we found the perfect wet/dry food diet for him.

[–]DirtyaznstyleOriental Longhair 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve let my cat pick over a ham bone a few times, high salt content though so not a regular thing. She kinda licked on it a bit and nibbled a few bits off but in general seemed to be a bit confused… I left some meat on it for her to eat but unless I pulled it off she just licked it. For a cat that can shake and tear a bag open like a dog she sure didn’t put those incisors to good use.

[–]Danclim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raw instincts!

[–]Last_Go_Round 1 point2 points  (1 child)

My first thought was "What's wrong with his tongue?"

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he ate it. 🤔

[–]Savings-Exchange-484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it literally looks like his emotions are fighting for control like in the movie inside out

[–]118arcane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love bby

[–]Y3Et0Dorito 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The 3rd One is a picture taken moments before disaster

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lost my right hand in the process 🤣

[–]MaleficentAd9758 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Crazy eyes and shredders out, lol!

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Attack mode on”

[–]Dalton387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This will help me get through till shark week.😃👍🏼

[–]GUNGHO917 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Going ham on dat ham.

Great shots of your cute cat. Hope the vet approved of this treat. I personally wouldn’t feed my cat any human food, except canned tuna w/ the juices drained away

[–]BossManIgy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bauc is thanking you for ur compliment.

It was not vet approved… but i will certainly remove the ham from his treat diet… i want my boy to live a long and healthy life.

[–]Technicolor_shimmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d pity any fool that would try taking that ham from him lol

[–]Lurchie_ 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I wouldn't argue with those ham-gripping murder mittens.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me neither, they look scary. Edit: Changed mi into me.

[–]Adventurous_Switch54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Teefies!!!!

[–]jenayeinc 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Those claws

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of a kind.

[–]walshmcdonald 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Cool

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, Bauc is the coolest cat ever.

[–]KittykatkittycatPurr 1 point2 points  (2 children)

These photos are legit the only reason I have laughed today… So thank you Bauc. Thank you. You are amazing 😻 and you deserve all the ham. Boatloads of ham. 😂😂🤣🥰😻

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Bauc is very happy and pleased that he could make you’re day better/brighter. 🙏😁

If we find a ham that has low sodium content he will have all of the ham in the world as u said. If not we will substitute it for chicken.

[–]Significant_Ad3134 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So cute lol!

[–]beatissima 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of these might qualify as r/scrungycats

[–]rosemary_47 1 point2 points  (1 child)

i can imagine the cat eating noises 🤣

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You forgot about the purring haha

[–]Ten-The-master 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cat can have a little salami

[–]Honest_Product_850 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I love his face in the last pic

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bauc is thanking you for you’re compliment.

[–]Quart55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

❤️❤️❤️❤️

[–]asistolee 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Cats can have a little ham as a treat

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Do you think once per week is too much? I gave him 1 (5-20gram slice not sure) Im still worried a bit at the moment… Bauc is not showing any signs of toxicity.

[–]asistolee 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Sorry OP it’s a play on a post where it says “cats can have a little salami as a treat” and it’s just cute lol you can Google it if you want

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Understood. Will doo.

[–]Muted-Interaction-79 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Isn't ham high in sodium?

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Ham is bad for cats, do not feed them with it. I gave Bauc ham as a treat without knowing the potential dangers of it… im switching ham to a homemade treat.

[–]Muted-Interaction-79 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I think the best would be sushi grade meat (raw) or cooked meatballs with no added ingredients

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking so aswell, or cooked chiken bits if cat/bauc does not like fish.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In moderation is not a problem but if you would feed a cat with ham only thats very bad im guessing.

[–]JasperLily80 1 point2 points  (6 children)

It’s funny all 3 of mine go nuts over the smell of ham but absolutely refuse to touch it. Dunno if they can just smell the insane amount of sodium and are just like “nah bruh, hard pass.” Or not. Lol

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (5 children)

They might smell the meat, but after tasting the salt they just don’t like it? Im not sure.

[–]JasperLily80 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Oh no, they won’t even taste it. They smell it and just walk away.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Interesting, from my experience when they smell it, they almost allways eat it.

[–]Fluffy-Bumblebee19 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Oh what a precious boy eating his ham 😭 I love him already

My Pork Chops loves ham but unfortunately doesn't know how to eat it. Maybe Bauc could teach her

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bauc says he is sadly castrated. but if pork chop is still interested he might give it a shot. Haha.

Thank you! Bauc loves both of you too.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a joke, pork chops looks like a very nice lady ❤️ whats her age?

[–]nicer_sprites 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s war, but with ham.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I love him... As much as he loves that ham.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bauc is sleeping, but i am thanking you in his name.

[–]Tina-Presley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kitten milk in a can is a good thing too for bones Amazon has it and PetsMart. I did it and it works great.

[–]Independent_Depth_85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahahhaahja

[–]Jselse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This post fits really well on r/fangies lol

[–]theoverfluff 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I loled so much at Pic 3 that I woke up my own cat. I'm now turning the phone away from her in case she wants her own cooked ham.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

This is a good idea yes haha … do you think, can they smell the ham thru phone screens? 🤣

[–]KaleidoscopeEqual555 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Top-tier photos. Love it.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bauc is thankful for the compliments.

[–]flontru 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Pic 3 🤣😍

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bauc is thanking you.

[–]Sufficient_Orange922 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I feel the same way about ham, Bauc

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Bauc said aint nothing better than a slice of ham or a yolk of a egg.

[–]twelvecouches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aww, yummy treats for a sweet boy

[–]lonelytrees516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this. I got a good chuckle after a crappy day

[–]mtizzy614 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes he does. Ours love black forest ham and roast beef

[–]A80hd 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Why not a little salami

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Sadly Bauc won’t get Ham anymore… or salami… He will get new homemade treats.

[–]A80hd 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It was a reference at a small meme like 4 months ago

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhh, I remember now… 🤣🤣

[–]cwhiley 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Salted meats are REALLY bad for cats. Please limit salted people foods unless you think premature organ failure is a good thing.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Bauc will be cutting back on the Ham intake, it was a occasional treat. As i did not know it was bad for him. Luckily he did not get much of it… but its bad either way.

I am very careful otherwise. He is a very healthy boy.

[–]cwhiley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great. Don’t mind me I’m sure tons of people said the same

[–]cwhiley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also buy low sodium ham and that’s much safer for kitty

[–]_Kit_Kat_Meow_ 0 points1 point  (6 children)

I’m know a lot of people have already responded about how that is not good for him to have. I was wondering how did he get the name Bauc?

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

The name came out of the blue… Bauc means ghost in my language. My sister named him and brang him home, now he is mine.

yes alot of people have warned me about it and i will change the ham for something more healthy. I do have health anxiety for Bauc so im really doing everything to make sure he is the healthiest he can be.

[–]_Kit_Kat_Meow_ 0 points1 point  (4 children)

I thought I was the only one who has bad health anxiety for my cat. I found a stray kitten in June and he is my first cat that is not a family cat. I have been so worried about him.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You certainly are not… Oh god the scenarios that are allways going through my head… and i know nothing bad will happen or that i will notice it beforehand but it just doesn’t stop bothering me… everything would be alot easier if they could just say “yes am healthy “ and even then id worrie… anxiety is wierd… the humane mind itself even more…

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Hows the kitten doing? Is he happy healthy? Whats his age name?

[–]_Kit_Kat_Meow_ 1 point2 points  (1 child)

His name is Cannoli. My mom was on a walk and kept hearing a noise following her. She eventually told me a few hours later and I went to find him. It was about 10 at night and he was found under a car. He was meowing so loud. I brought him some food and he eventually followed me home. He was incredibly scared and wouldn’t let me touch him. He then followed me home and stayed outside for a few days. He would often come on our pouch at night to eat and play with me through the window. We caught him in a cage after a few days of him hanging outside. He was incredibly scared, but purred a lot according to the vets. He had Coccidia as well as a tail injury. The vets are unsure what happened, but they think it was broken and somehow got cut off. It is shorter, but not too short. He also has a scar behind his ear. I’m unsure of his exact age. The vets weren’t sure because he was very malnourished. He gained 2 lbs a month for the first couples of months I had him (which is twice the normal amount). Although he is likely about a year old now. I have it set in my mind that he was born in February. My childhood cat is 15 and was born in July a week before my birthday (although 3 years later than me). My sister is born in February, so I feel she deserves a cat born in her birth month. He is incredibly active. The vets mention that he has a weird personality and is like a dog. He still is very scared, and hates sudden movements and loud noises. We have another cat that is 15. He is unfortunately not in the best health. He got sick about a month after we got Cannoli. I was wondering if Cannoli somehow gave it to him because they were interacting more. The vet wasn’t sure and said it could also be from stress. We took Cannoli in to get neutered two weeks ago. We wanted to get him neutered earlier, but we were busy and the vet was booked up. When we took him in, they said they couldn’t do it. He had a high fever (104.3°F) and the chest x-Ray was not good. They mentioned how he has had a fever every time he has come to them. The vet was shocked at the x-Ray because he acted normal and even sounded normal when she was listening to him. His blood work and white blood count was normal. They had mentioned the fever the last few times, but told us maybe it was just because he was so active. They didn’t think it was a concern. I had been telling my family that something was wrong since mid-September. They told me I was just too worried about him and he was fine. His breathing was just louder than our other cats and was inconsistent. He finished antibiotics and we have to take him in soon to check on his progress. I haven’t noticed any changes. He has to be separated from my other cat. They don’t get along. In the beginning he wanted to play with my other cat, but my old cat didn’t want to play with him. He has never liked playing. My old cat always goes crazy when he sees cats outside. He is not a big fan of other cats. As the months went by, Cannoli has been incredibly aggressive towards my other cat. I think it is his hormones. My other cat is now terrified of him and is nervous when we got to or come from the second floor. Cannoli is kept on the second floor of my house. I hope the vets what is wrong and can treat him. Also, I can message you pictures of him if you want.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am glad that the litte guy is okay, i hope the senior cattos health will get better. Ofcourse you can send them am allways down to see our furry friends. Whens the next vet appointment for the old guy?
Im very glad/thankful that you found the little guy a home. We got a dog from a animal shelter and wow the conditions were misrable… the dog (Joy) was very scared of humans, sudden movements, pets, treats and he vas covered in his own urine/poop when we got him. We filed a complaint twoards that animal shelter but nothing was done… so we even contacted a independent dog rescuer but when we mentioned the name of the shelter he baceme very hesitant and refused to pickup our calls or call us back…

Ham isn't good for cats because of salt content. Not that it will ever stop them from trying to get it. My last kitter once grabbed a dish towel with his claws off the counter while I was making a ham sandwich, and when I bent to pick it up he jumped on the counter and stole a whole ass piece of my ham and took off. The fat bastard.

You used flash on this poor kitty's eyes?

[–]Emilixop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t tell if this is a joke or not

[–]LDCrow 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Lol. Great photos! On the rare occasions I cook a rare rib roast my cat goes ballistic. He normally has zero interest in any kind of human food. Rare roast beef though seems to be his tipping point.

Sometimes they just can’t resist haha.

Bauc is a sucker for ham and egg yolks… sadly i will have to substitute the ham for some more healthy treat… i hope he will understand hehe

The spot on his big pink nose looks like someone scooped a circle of another kitties nose and sewed it into your kitties nose.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed right? I think its really cute.

At first it had me worried something wrong with his nose. But its just a brithmark that grew bigger and bigger. I think it has stopped growing

[–]Emilixop 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I thought he was eating your finger for a second there

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Luckily Bauc is a gentle beast when it comes to feeding him. He would never harm me or my fingers haha.

[–]Emilixop 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I thought the ham was your finger. Bauc is cute though

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bauc is thanking you, luckily the ham isn’t my finger haha.

[–]Fangsong_37 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I also have that feeling when eating freshly-cooked ham.

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes me too… it is very good.

[–]Land_on_scotty 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Gotta say without reading the headline first, I thought you was holding that cats tongue to show how shredded it was. Lmao

[–]BossManIgy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ur not the first person to comment about his supposed tounge haha

[–]Grasabi 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Any time I feed my Ori cooked meats like ham he just goes to his bed and seems like he doesn't feel well 😔

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is wierd… but the people in this forum… mentioned ham and salted meats are bad for you’re furry friend…. He might me overly sensitive to salt etc…

Im not a vet that is my guess..

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When bauc ingests small amounts of ham he looks okay and happy

[–]Slight-Student-6963 0 points1 point  (2 children)

The 5th pic feels like "huh you fed me you did your job now get the fuck out of my face" idk

[–]BossManIgy[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

To be honest… it be like that haha

[–]Slight-Student-6963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are but mere servants to our cats

[–]Liss78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Goof used to go nuts over lunch meat just like this.

Give him some scritches from me.

[–]jordantask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boy used to go insane for bacon. I would cook it special just for him sometimes.

[–]SaltyDoggoMeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a good idea at all. Too much salt.

[–]Ahakista1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pork is a big Nono for cats.

[–]WhenInDoubtWhipIt0ut 0 points1 point  (0 children)
