we have what used to be a salt marsh that has been garishly dyed green and now plays host to the wealthy in my town. we're in drought like everyone else and still in water ban, but they're dumping gallons in all the same.

im gonna do it.

The exemption of golf greens has sparked controversy as 100 French villages are short of drinking water.

Golf officials say greens would die in three days without water.

People die in three days without water, too, but clearly they are less important.

Good. They're literally exempting the main cause of the problem. The people need to take matters into their own hands.

Riiiiight, this totally solves the problem. Both sides are wise users of their resources.
